How does does this compare to the Tread +. I know there is a huge price difference but in terms of comfort, performance, and overall experience- what would you prefer or recommend? Im indifferent to Peletons app vs iFit as well. The 2450 looks great but Im apprehensive about it not having physical dials/buttons for safety during sprint interval training I plan to use it for sometimes.
Most of the reviewers on my team prefer a traditionally cushioned running deck (2450) over a slat belt treadmill (Tread+) for comfort. If you want manual control over your speed, I like the Peloton Tread+'s dials more, but I like that you can program a workout on the 2450 so it automatically adjusts. Both deliver a premium performance and experience.
Those are two vastly different machines. The 2450 is great for endurance runs, has trainer-led content, and a soft running surface. The AssaultBike Elite is great for short and intense workouts, unlimited resistance, and has great durability. If you are shopping for garage gym equipment, I would go AssaultBike Elite, but if you have an indoor gym, I would pick the 2450.
@BestTreadmillReviews , Thanks for your response. It's an indoor gym, even though l had a liking for AssaultBike, but based on your in-deapth response, l will have to go with NordicTrack. I I really appreciate you sharing your in-depth knowledge with me in helping me with my decision.
Fantastic video! Thank you so much! I am soooo on the edge and planning to purchase this today but would you say this is a better option than the peloton? Also I am a new runner and will be primarily running on the treadmill and training on it, would you say the deck with that absorption is not too soft? Will I struggle to adapt if I start running outside later on? Thank you!
The 2450 is faster and higher powered than the Peloton Tread. I find the soft cushioning a good balance with road running. Transitioning to road running shouldn't be too hard. I just wouldn't recommend going from 100% treadmill running to 100% road running right away. Our NordicTrack treadmills have held up well. The only difficulty we've had is software updates, but we've also been able to resolve those pretty quickly. The Peloton Tread and the 2450 both require subscriptions to unlock all their features, so I would consider what type of training content you prefer, too.
@@BestTreadmillReviewsthank you so much! Just ordered using your link 🎉 super excited 🙌🏽 was £2,999 and £200 off ifit yearly subscription so a pretty good deal 😇
Just ordered this - thank you for this video!!!

What will be your advice choosing between NordicTrack 2450 and AssaultBike Elite.

What's the comparable model in nordictrack without folding. TIA
The NordicTrack X16 is the closest model in price without folding. The X24 has the same screen size though.

I’m also reading a lot of bad experience stories with nordictrack on Reddit so I hope this machine won’t break that easily.
