I still blind buy travel-sizes & 8-10ml decants... but I am now NOT buying any full sizes blindly, unless they are SUPER inexpensive because of a great discount and I've watched/read tons of reviews ahead of time... where I can resell on Mercari and get my $$$ back. But I am buying samples up like crazy - and also reselling those on Mercari too so others can try before they buy. Sick of getting fragrances that don't work for me! I have become very picky with my full bottle purchases!
I have stopped blindbuying, I am so picky that it is almost ridicolous, so every blindbuy will for sure be a fail. But I sample a lot, and the last big NO NO was Petra from Masque Milano. A mix between Coco Mademoiselle and Miss Dior Cherie with a very strong note or accord that to me smelled like toxic waste. Really very unpleasant. Thank you for creating such great content Veronica, I really appreciate your channel!
Hi Ildri! 🥰 Aw thank you so much. Blind buying is like a sport for me. 😆 Some day I'll slow down - maybe in 2023. Toxic waste? Oh NO! No one wants to smell like toxic waste! 🤣
I love your end of the month ranking videos, so of course I would love to see a year end version. Blind bought La vie est Belle L’èclat because I love the original and heard such great things. When ULTA put it on sale it was a no brained. But it was a complete let down.
Hello! Great idea! My blind buy fails were: Tiffany & Co. Intense (boring), Mancera Instant Crush (nope), Imaginary Authors' Yesterday Haze (weird), and Coco Mademoiselle (no matter how I try, I just don't really like Chanel fragrances).
Hi Amery! 💖 I, too, found Tiffany Intense a bit safe. I would wear it if it was gifted but it's not one I felt compelled to buy. I love Instant Crush though. 🥰 Coco Mademoiselle and I do not get along either. I wish I understood why, but I just don't get it. 🥴😩
Hi beautiful! For me it was Ristretto Intense Cafe. (I know - blasphemy). I love the original but this one made me want to take another shower to get it off. I gave it to a friend who really likes it so it wasn’t a total loss. And Whiff of a Waffle Cone was a disappointment for me as well. 💕
Hello! I can totally see people disliking Ristretto. I enjoy it, but it is definitely a challenging one! Too bad WOAWC didn't work. I had high hopes for it. 🥴😩
That is why I always watch your channel. I just take note of what you and other content creator says about a fragrance. If more than 3 creators say it's good then I buy it so thank you Veronica. 😊
Worst blind buy this year is definitely Good Fortune by Viktor&Rolf. Very boring, generic scent, loved the bottle tho. Sold it on. Great review, as per. ❤
Favorite blind buys for 2022! Cherry Punk room 1015, Azzaro Wanted Girl by Night. The reformulation of Dior Addict. I just knew I’d be so disappointed. Loved it! I also really liked Milk Expressive! Worst of 2022 Mancera Choco Violet & la’Intredit Rouge. I just couldn’t. Something harsh & scratchy. Great video, Veronica!🥰
Hi Jackie! 🥰 Thank you! 💖 Those are great blind buys, especially Dior Addict. I am working on enjoying Choco Violette. I appreciate it, although it's a bit dry to me.
Hi Veronica 🌹😍 Your description of New York subway gave me flashbacks and visuals of all sorts 😳😬🤣 My blind buy fails are all from the house of Dua Fragrances and I’m done with that for a while. Luckily they were the 10 ml bottles so not a huge loss, just a disappointment. I’ve also got a few successes, so it all evens out in the end. I can’t wait to hear about your best blind buys. ❤️🤗
Yes! I had the same reaction to Dua, and realized that you have to give them a few sprays and then put them away for months until they mature (it's like a freshly made, raw pour at first). Still, they just don't replicate any of the expensive bottles they are duped for. I don't think I'll go for any more either. 🤷
I'm sorry I resurfaced the subway smell trauma. 🥴🥴🥴 LMBO! That smell is unique and you know if when you smell it. I think I am over my Dua craze phase also. 🫣🙈 I will be selling many and keeping the ones I really enjoy, but likely not purchasing more in bulk. Maybe one here or there.
Hi Jamie! Wow! Interesting to hear this opinion. So many love it! I don't plan to pick it up unless I can sample it first and confirm the hype. Thanks for sharing! 🥰
@@VeronicaSays If you sample it, I definitely recommend giving it at least two chances! I just went from planning to return the little travel size to purchasing a full bottle after trying it 'one last time.' Total 180 lol.
@@tarafarmer6242 you mean just today you changed your mind? Isn't that funny about fragrance? You can love something one minute and dislike it the next? 🫣
Yep "with gay abandon" is correct Veronica 😁 Why is it always the fragrances that one finds revolting are the ones that stick around forever on one's skin?? 😡 I've spent too much money on samples of quite expensive niche fragrances this year to have the money for any blind buys! 🤔 edited to say Heliotrope by Reminiscence was a blind buy - but a successful one thank goodness.
Hi Fiona! Yes, with gay abandon. The brain locks up when filming and creates its own language 😩 I know what you mean about those stinkers that don't go away! 🤣 They haunt us.
Happy Saturday my beautiful friend💖💕💕 you hit the nail on the head with Tresor. My aunt gifted me a bottle last year and I just can’t do it. Yes it gives off mature but what killed it for me is how overly synthetic it is! There’s no layering combo that can save that one…so it’s just sitting in its box🥴… Dedcool Milk smelled like air😂🤣😂 I played with it in store. Sprayed the paper, I got nothing sprayed my hand BARELY smelled anything and I typically do well with molecular fragrances but this one I couldn’t really make out anything. There was another one- Taunt or Blonde that I tested as well and it wore super light, wasn’t that memorable🤷🏽♀️
Hi Gorgeous! 🥰 We tend to have similar tastes so I'm glad to hear you had the same experience with Tresor and with Dedcool. I haven't tried Blonde but I trust you. So irritating not to be able to smell a fragrance and everyone else loves it. 🥴🥴🥴
My worst were intense cafe and roses Vanille (fortunately only a travel size for one of them and a small bottle for the other). They made me actually gag and they are so strong it was hard to wash off, haha! Another not great was a dupe by armaf (I think) for coco mademoiselle and I think it was very close but apparently I can’t do coco mademoiselle type fragrances.
Hi Kara! The Mancera fragrances can be SUPER strong. I enjoy many of them but I understand what you mean. And I can't do Coco Mademoiselle either. I have really tried. 🤷♀️
I would watch a video of yours with 50 blind buys! 😂 Oh I almost blind bought Waffle Cone, appreciate your thoughts! I really like Nest Golden Amber but I must say Sunkissed Hibiscus blows that one out of the water. I just love how sweet, solar, and warm it is. Really enjoy your videos! 😊
Hi Yvonne! 💖 The beauty and frustration of fragrance, right? One person's love is another torture and vice versa. Glad you love it - the bottle is GORGEOUS! 🥳
I hear you about vetiver! I don't care for it at all. My bad blind buy? (only one, because I"m a coward) was D&G's "Light Blue". I loved it coming out of the bottle and it was fine while I shopped, so I bought it. When I wore it all day the next day, I was really, really disappointed. I will bring it to my family's Christmas to see if I can pawn it off on my brother... fingers crossed!
Hey there! 💖 I enjoy Light Blue and wore it for years, but I know many people can't tolerate it. My guess is someone at your Christmas gathering will be glad to take it off your hands! 😄 Good luck passing it along 🥰
My fails were Swiss Arabian Casablanca smelled like an apple candle. Prada candy the chcolate one. Smelled like dirt to me. Babycat was burning rubber. Smelled like someone lit a taxidermied animal on fire. Took literal hours for that scent to go away. Then vanilla with still the smell of burnt rubber.
@@VeronicaSays Can't wait for your end of the year in perfume. I hope you make that video. I love your channel so much. Lots of personality and knowledge 🤗
Moschino toy 2 bubble gum was a big NO. I think it has some sort of ambroxan in it that smelled terrible on me and made me feel sick. Loved the bottle, but not enough to keep it.
Hi Veronica, I blind buy mostly everything as i love a wide range of styles with everything.... My perfume scents, My fashion styles and different styles within my home.... But i could not handle Mauboussin- Mauboussin, nor Rochas Madamoiselle Couture and Anais Anais Premiere Delice... Instant scrubbers, just something in them... I mostly LOVE a lot but there has been some BAD ones and the bad thing with us in Australia is that u cant return them and we don't have Mercari... which we need urgently... loving all of your content Have a Nice Day 😊
Aw that stinks that you don't have a way to return or sell off ones that don't work for you. I wasn't super crazy about Mauboussin either. I suppose you have to be extra careful then with your purchases.
Similar reason when I bought Tresor 4 years ago, because my mother wore it in the 90s. But the recent formulation is just boring, light, and uninspiring. I sold mine.
I’m happy to have used up my Whiff of a Waffle Cone. I read a review that it smelled like burnt hair and let me tell you I smelled that every spray thereafter!
The sense of smell is something that is unique to each of us, isn't it? The only note that has ever come across like urine to me is honey, and I'm very careful to test fragrances with a honey note before buying. But I never get that from jasmine or other florals, so I guess I'm fortunate! I've also had some perfumes that smelled like chemicals/petroleum to me -- namely Casablanca when I first spray it. luckily, it dries down and quickly loses the petrol note in that case. I had a couple of blind buy fails, not because the were horrible but because they were "meh". Surprisingly, I found Coco Noir to be "meh" and was so disappointed by that. I always look forward to the awards video (December!) and a year in review would be fun. I'd be interested in more overrated/underrated reviews too.
Honey is definitely a TOUGH note! 🥴 It's either amazing or off-putting in a fragrance. I didn't love Casablanca at first either. I do enjoy it but have to be in the mood for it. Please continue trying Coco Noir. It grew on me! 💖💖💖
Coco Noir was one of my 15 blind purchases this year, and to my surprise it was just ok, nothing more, next time it will be Chanel Allure instead, a friend bought it and she smells great!!! Sometimes I am happy with a perfume being just ok, but I don't re-purchase if that is the case.
@@itsmeGeorgina I tried Coco Noir again two days ago, and decided the reason it doesn't work for me is that it has no projection -- I have to put my nose next to my skin to smell it! If you get Allure, are you planning to get the EDP? The EDT and EDP are quite different, and I decluttered the EDT (and Allure Sensuelle) before settling on Allure EDP which I love.
Believe it or not … I just returned Kilian’s Love don’t be Shy. I’ve heard a never ending course of how sweet it is etc. and I started warming up to sweeter frags and I thought I’ll get it $343.00 cdn the first thing I detected is it has an animalic note that really was a turn off… nobody ever mentions that, I went to Fragrantica and sure enough it’s there not my imagination… I couldn’t get past orange blossom and ass so back it went … I buy 99% blind and usually am good so glad this was SEPHORA as I would never have worn this! 💞
No kidding?! I have not picked up an animalic note in LDBS, only sweetness, but I am now going to search for it 😂 I saw it has labdanum. Glad you were able to return it!
Lattafa Nebras. I can see many people loving this because it’s a pretty strong and sweet perfume. Really gourmand. The problem for me is that it was just too too sweet.😢
I want to like Imaginary Authors so bad. Their fragrances give me the worst headaches. But the art and the inspirations speak to me so much. I had hope for waffle cone.
Veronica I live for your commentary. You made me chuckle a couple of times. My one and only blind buy fail is Eilish. Boring and yet she still sits in a drawer waiting. I’ll figure it out eventually. Looking forward to a round up video.
Awww thanks, Faith! You are too kind. 💖 Eilish is so confusing. Sometimes I enjoy it and am pleasantly surprised by it, and other times that fruity opening smells like Strawberry Nesquick from the 80s in a very uncomfortable way. I can't figure out how I feel!
I purchased Rose Eclat this year and I didn’t love it at all. I’m going to try it one more time. Crystal Nior was a fail as well. I would definitely love to see a year in review
Kaylai burning cherry … and commodity milk expressive…. I even let them Sit for two days…. And smelled again! I finally mixed burning cherry with by the fireplace … great smell … but I’m still thinking I should return
Hey Jennifer! Oh, mixing Burning Cherry with BTF sounds like a great idea! I LOVE Milk Expressive. Sorry it didn't work for you! Hope you can sell it or pass it on to a friend or family member. 💖
Hello Veronica, blind buy failures are super disappointing! We all seem to keep doing it though... I was disappointed with a few purchases but wear them anyway to use them up and remind myself to stop blind buying. 😅 Sometime fragrances grow on me. Others become 'air freshener'. One of the offenders was Annick Goutal Petite Cherie EDT, which started out fresh and uplifting but turned to swamp in the dry down... I don't know why it went so wrong on my skin. It was a lovely air freshener after that. Thanks for your video! Looking forward to the best blind buy video when you make it! Have a super day! - Jenn
Hi Jenn! 🥰 I'm impressed that you've gone on to use fragrances that don't work as air freshener! 🤩 I know a woman that sprays her curtains, upholstery, and towels with fragrances that don't work on her skin. No one wants to smell like "swamp" 😆
Chris Collins- sweet taboo is my worse blind by of the year. expensive and just not a love. I couldnt find a tester so I took a chance. Thanks for the video, you are awesome!
Hi Veronica! Jasmine Wisp 🤮 To me I just got chemicals/hairspray in the drydown. And I hate to say it but just about everything I've ordered from Dua (save for their dupe of Nasomatto Baraonda which is dead on, its called Liquid Mind Control) even the Dua decants! I think there's something in the Dua DNA i just don't love - not to mention the whole maceration thing. But my blind buy win was Montale's Honey Aoud which I got for a steal on FragranceNet (tester, wonky sprayer w the dangly star thing but I'll deal & be very careful for the $ savings lol) after the second time you talked about it last week. I'm obsessed 💛
Hey Cheryl! 💖 Hooray for Honey Aoud! 🍯 Glad you liked it. I totally get what you mean about the Dua Fragrances - many have this oily irritating synthetic thing that is hard to get past for most people. The ones that do NOT have that are usually winners, but it's a roll of the dice thing. Jasmine Wisp - 😆 I enjoy it but I can see how people pick up hairspray in the dry down.
Fun video!!! and I agree with your assessment of Gucci Rush except I love it 😂. I love a plastic smell but mostly this is a nostalgic scent for me because I worked at Sephora in the early 90s - loved my time there - and the perfume section often smelled predominantly of Rush.
Hi Veronica great video! I have had many disappointing blind buys this year but the worst one for me has been Kayali vanilla Royale sugared patchouli. I really really want to like this but the patchouli just chokes me! I can’t stand it! So sad because overall I like the kayali brand 😢
Hi Angela! Someone else said the same in the comments here. The reviews have been over the top on this one. I refuse to purchase unless I can try it in Sephora first. Thanks for sharing your opinion. 👍
Hey Veronica! 👋🏽💕 great video as always 😉 worst blind buys this year were Afnan Her Highness Red and Her Highness Black, Hypnotic Poison, JPG La Belle, Burberry Elixir, Mancera Holidays. I’m sure there were more 🤦🏻♀️😂
Hey Denise! Oh no! I really enjoy both of those Afnans and La Belle. I remember you saying Holidays was a no. I enjoy it, but can see how people are put off by it. Burberry Elixir reminds me of strawberry ice cream which makes me gag. 🥴🥴🥴 Thanks for watching! 💖
My blind buy fails this year were CH good girl glam, I think the cherry notes bothers me here.. i love cherry note scents but this one didn't work.. Also the Prada paradoxe was also a big fail for me.. I bought the sample bcs of the hype but neh... Also lalique parles de lalique.. Very strong very long lasting perfume but the strong detergent notes bothered me... But this year was a winning year for blind buys, 80percent was win. Have a great day!!
Hey Kirandeep! Oooooh 80% is a GREAT win rate for blind buying! 🥳🥳🥳 I like Prada Paradox just fine, although it's a generically good scent. If someone gifted it to me, I'd wear it, but I don't feel compelled to buy it. Thanks for watching! 💖
Whiff of a Waffle cone was my very first blind buy fail and I am so glad I only bought a purse spray. I tried it again a year later and it was still bad or worse. Ditto on this one.
I only have one or two blind buy fails for this year as I tried really hard not to do it anymore😱😱. These were not instant fails but I did wear them over time. Mine would be Ameer Al Oudh Intense, Her Highness Red, Atara, Azora, Santal de Kandy and Holidays 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️. I sampled Holidays but over time the sun tan lotion vibe was way too much for me 😩😩. Looking forward to your next video🤩🤩. Stay gorgeous🥰🥰.
Oh Pinkie! I love some of these. Oh my. If we lived nearby we could do swaps! 🤣 Holidays' suntan lotion vibe can definitely be a bit much over time. I get it.
I was so disappointed with CLOUD, LIGHT BLUE, and LOLITALAND. CASABLANCA and BOND NO.9 NEW YORK NIGHTS was just too strong for me. I could name a few more but those immediately came to mind.
Hey friend! I’ve had some definite fails but Moresque Royal and Ormonde Jayne Xi’an were some of my worst. Just synthetic soup that smelled like fruity, powdery somethings but nothing in particular…pretty bad. I think I’d rather be able to say that “this rose is too mature” or “this Oud is too stinky” than to have an ambiguous fragrance, almost like a cheap room freshener. 🤦🏾♀️😒 Yes to a review of your year 🎉💛
Hey girl, hey!!! Yes, generic room fresheners are the worst offenders, aren't they? Isn't that funny? I totally agree - I'd rather dislike something because it was too strange or funky or something. Year in review coming up in a few weeks! Thank you! 💖💖💖
My bad buy of this year was initially absolute aphrodisiac,it’s too Smokey gingery weird, Icould layer it with strong scents but for the price it hurts
Omg you had me at leg warmers!!! 😂😂🤣 You’re the first person to remind me of Katy Pukrick Smells here on YT. She had this way of describing fragrances in the most hilarious way while keeping such a calm, HR appropriate voice. You’re definitely the new Katy! Love it!
Awww what a shame you didn’t get along with Gucci Rush! I really love that one but I totally see what you’re saying, it’s a love or hate for a lot of people ❤
My worst blindbuy was Red Temptation from Zara 😂😂 not a lot of damage. And that’s only because a lot of people said it was a perfect dupe for BR540… NOoooo ok I really don’t love BR540 I think it is the same as you said with that molecular one, it’s too light for my nose and disappears in 30 min. But the Zara one… wow that one is strong and long lasting but smells nothing like I smelled BR540, nothing sweet at all! For me it’s like fresh pine or something like that 😵💫😵💫. I’ve blind bought a few expensive ones and all good 🤭 I know my trusty sources and my trusty notes
Hi Laura! 🥰 Wow! This is the first time I've heard that Red Temptation is not like BR540 - THANK YOU for sharing. Perhaps someone reading these comments will be grateful for this info! I've never tried it myself.
For me the worst blind buy of all time was By The Fireplace by Maison Margiela. Just a travel spray size thankfully. I gave it away…it smelled like a very strong cheap candle & made me nauseous. Biggest blind buy ‘not-a-love/disappointment’ was Seta by Moresque. I thought it would be lighter. Found it cloying. This was a full bottle purchase… 🤨
Hi Mira! 💖 Oh no! I love both of these fragrances! Sorry they didn't work out for you. 😞 Many people feel the same about BTF - would prefer it as a candle. I find Seta to be on the lighter side. I have sprayed lightly with it though (as I am usually a heavy sprayer). Have you been able to sell or pass Seta along?
@@VeronicaSays hi Veronica! Thx for replying! I think I have to wear Seta a few more times before I let it go. I do like it, it’s just not a love for me. I’m really getting into vanillas lately!
Hey beaut ❤ I must admit almost every perfume I buy is a blind buy 😅 thankfully I haven’t had too many fails but it is so disappointing when you’re really excited about something and then it bombs 😢
I bought 15 new perfumes this year, ALL of them blind buys, most were good, 4 were GREAT and 3 were HORRIBLE ; Versace Dylan Blue>BUGSPRAY - Shalimar Cologne> Baby faeces -- Prada La Femme>fake dried flower spray. My top best purchases were Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker, Chloe Nomade Absolut, Narcizo Rodrigues Rose Musk, Mon Guelain by Guerlain. All in all a good year 🙂😊
Thanks for this review Veronica.. it reminded me of a couple blind buy 'fails' that I got last year, and had buried somewhere lol. So went back to reassess the culprits. One was a Boucheron, 'Serpent Boheme', and it was terrible when I first got it! A big disappoint as I loved all the notes, but it just reeked of alcohol and ugh! So stiff, like an old Chanel. Now tho, it seems to have 'mellowed' into a more citrusy, green tea like scent, much better but still too strong for my taste. I guess the gist of the story is ...if you wait for awhile, those 'fails' might be better revisited in time? (Although if you really love something, you just know instantly 😉) 💛
Isn't it funny how that works? Some you dislike initially grow on us, and vice versa. Ones we initially enjoyed become "meh" over time. I guess that's totally normal - same as anything else in our lives (foods, shoes, purses, vehicles, furniture, hairstyles, clothing, etc).
I bought an oriental fragrance called Mazanjii, great fragrance great performance but it was not for me. I gave it to my grandmother and she adored it. She wears it every day and re sprays several times a day, even though it is a monster performer.
I can so relate with ruining my sleep with the fragrance that I am wearing 😂 I can’t remember if I blind bought fragrance this year that did not work for me 🤔 i for sure had more than a handful last year…
I loved tresor when it came out in the 90s. It smelled like peach yogurt to me. My mom also had a tresor body cream that looked like yogurt. 😍 It was one of the first perfumes I had tried as a kid 😊 but yes it is definitely artificial smelling
My worst blind buy was Sugar by Franck Bouclet. I thought it would have been sweeter, as the name implies. It also smelled too much like licorice. I wanted to love it, but I had to return it.
I hear you. I am not super keen on licorice either. Like the original Lolita Lempicka, which oddly I'd love to try again just to see if I still can't get along with it. Weird huh? 😂
Your descriptions on some of these are quite funny! The Jardins de Bagatelle! 😂 I don’t really mind that one but apparently it’s the vintage versions that are great and the latest formulation not so good. I also like the plasticky Gucci Rush. It’s a plastic, screechy, musky pineapple to me and very early 2000s but it’s fun. I also like Golden Nectar on me and find it’s a waxy, vanilla orchid type of smell but I’m sad it doesn’t last long. I can see it being a skin chemistry thing with all of these. The rest of your list I haven’t smelled. I’m trying to think of a blind fail for this year and I’m not sure. There’s a few that are just a meh but one blind buy from the previous year was D&G Velvet Incenso. It was way more incense than I was expecting. I still have it sitting around and am struggling with whether to sell it or not. I actually bought Borouj Perlador as well last year but found it way too leathery but after it sat around for almost a year it’s much better! Same thing happened with Lancôme La nuit tresor Musc Diamant. I sprayed it after getting it shipped and it made me gag with all of the white musk. I almost couldn’t smell any other notes. Then after it sat around for a few months I cautiously tried it again and I could smell the La Nuit DNA in there like everyone was describing. It’s funny how they can change when they sit around.
Heeeeey Boogie! 💖 I remember you saying you enjoyed Jardins de Bagatelle. I wish I could smell the original. Maybe it's just that reformulation that's so pissy smelling. Yikes! Okay so someone else mentioned that Velvet Incenso as a dislike in the comments. Is that a newer one? I never heard of it but now I'm curious to look it up. As always, thank YOU for watching! I appreciate you! 💖
This was a very helful review! I have been thinking about Trésor lately which smells nice in the bottle but I remember hating it when I tried it on my skin decades ago. I'll pass on it. Also Jardins de Bagatelle is one of the rare Guerlains I didn't like as it's way too loud and floral. Your lipstick is great on you! I love similar shades of pink lipsticks.
Thank you so much! 💖 I think it's Tom Ford Spanish Pink for the lipstick. Tresor hurt my feelings. 🤣 I was not ready to dislike it the way I did. Yikes. Glad I'm not alone on the Guerlain one.
I'm with you on gucci rush. I lived the og formula but the reformulated version is awfully plastic. My worst blind buy was rihanna rebel. (The black bottle) That stuff burnt the hair from my nostrils. 🤮. Sorry if I've offended anyone.
Two of my blind buy fails this year were Truth by Calvin Klein and Individuelle by Mont Blanc. The latter one was not a bad scent, I actually liked it but I just think it's the "patchouli" in this on me. That note rarely works on me. Truth by CK smelled ok in the beginning but then it went in a weird direction that was just too strong for me, or I can't really put my finger on why. I feel, I liked the concept of "Truth" but it just did not work. I sold Truth and Individuelle is currently listed on mercari. Loved seeing your fails and I cracked up at "Concentrated urine" hahahaha. Cheers💞
Hey lovely! 💖 I've not tried Individuelle but totally understand about patchouli. Interesting about Truth - I started to have a similar experience. I enjoyed it for a long time and still recommend it to people, but ended up selling it for the same reason. It overwhelmed me deep into the dry down as it evolved on my skin. 🫣
@adoRebelstye I bought Individuelle before the current fashion of putting patchouli in everything, and decluttered it. Fast forward 10 years and my nose is now acclimated to patchouli and I discovered that I missed Individuelle! I got a great deal on an unboxed bottle (possibly a FragranceNet return). You may want to hold onto your bottle if you think you might learn to love patchouli.
@@pkswafford It's funny you said this because I've posted individuelle on mercari and removed it maybe like 5 times already haha. I'll probably remove it again next week lol. Thanks for this info, it's nice to hear others experiences to help figure out if scents will work out. Thank you thank you💕💕💕
My worse blind buy was Adam Levine for her. I bought it before the scandal broke. Needless to say, I voted it off the island as soon as I heard about it. Love from the spooky Pine Barrens in NJ
@@VeronicaSays I thought it was “ok” when I bought it, but after the scandal, it was “tainted” to me, like when makeup brand owners do unethical stuff.
I’ve had a few blind buy fails and some are from late last year🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️. These are Shaghaf Oud, Almeer Al Oudh Intense, Santal de Kandy, Holidays, Her Highness Red, Azora, Lucrethia and Atara🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️. I’ve worn some but they do not currently fit with my fragrance direction if there is such a thing, so they are currently on the declutter pile😱😱. Looking forward to your next offering🤩🤩. Stay gorgeous🥰🥰.
Hi Veronica! Great topic! Biggest fail is Butterbeer by DUA. All the notes are vanillic, like there's nothing in the description that would make me think it smells like anything other than a cream soda. Well all I smelled was oud and more oud (I hate oud) and I was mad because that oud note should've been in the description of the notes. To make it worse, DUA likes to delete reviews that are anything other than positive. I wrote a review thinking people should know before they buy that the description is not what you're going to get. They deleted my review. I think I'm done with DUA. I also got DUA Marshmallow Vanilla and their dupe of Tihota. I let them macerate for quite a while and both smell like olive oil and alcohol. Their new bottles n caps are nice but I don't care what that bottle looks like if the frag inside is 👎. And about that macerating thing...why do they not have these frags already macerating in their warehouse? Why must I wait for something to macerate to get the intended experience...I don't get it. I understand why macerating is suggested with indie companies but a business like DUA (I don't consider them indie)? 🤔 Plus their frags are super oily n leave stains on clothes. My best blind buys have come from the indie companies CJ Scents and Cocoapink. Great video topic, interesting reading the comments too. Oh n I'm taking Whiff of Waffle Cone and Corbin's Apple off of my list to buy it try. I trust what you're telling us!! 😁
Jackie, gurl... same for me on the maceration nonsense. I'm over it too. I've purchased something like 30 Duas. Some work, some don't. I'm no longer going to buy in bulk from Dua. Too risky. Yes, they are oily too and I've heard the same about the reviews being deleted. 🥴🥴🥴 Olive oil and alcohol ☠️☠️☠️ I'd love to try Cocoapink. Thanks for watching! And yes, these comments are always so interesting!
Yep, had the same experience with Dua deleting my reviews that were not positive. Also (and this is super shady!), they had (still have?) a fake reviewer named "Jessica" on fragrantica that goes on fragrantica writes a review that says the Dua version is better, etc. I do NOT trust Dua because I know firsthand they deleted my reviews and I've seen quite a few fake reviews from "Jessica", though I have quite a few Duas, but I have definitely slowed down my purchasing from them.
@@VeronicaSays I know, those devils 👹 over there at DUA. I'm done with the DuA trap, Lol. Out of like 15 I've bought, I like Cocolicious and Rouge Smoking's dupe n that's it! Tried the Creamy Coquito thinking I'd love it But 👎. The Alien Essence Absolue dupe is decent and Blackberry Truffle Cake and Blueberry Brandy ended up being nice. I'm done with them though. There's better dupe houses out there, Andromeda's Moon is one of them, I definitely suggest Andromeda's Moon but the TAT is long. Her prices are decent though and she's had a 40% off code up for months now n I think free shipping over $35. Keep putting out these banger videos! ❤️
@@Christine-uf3oj that's crazy. Like really crazy. Doesn't surprise me though being that they delete reviews. If you're looking for a good dupe house, I definitely recommend Andromeda's Moon out of all the dupe houses I've tried. 😁
Hiiiii! I have a long list of failed blind buys this year. I think that may he one of the reasons i went on my no buy. Al Haramain L'Aventure femme. Club de nuit intense. Mancera Oud lemon mint. Shaghaf oud abyad. Moschino toy boy.. The list goes on...Anyways gurrlfriend great video as always. Have a wonderful weekend.🌷🌷🌷
Hey Nadine! 💖 Oh no! I like Aoud Lemon Mint! I like Toy Boy too but the bottle is starting to give Five Nights At Freddy's vibes 😂 L'Aventure Femme I have other be in the mood for - it's a dead on dupe for Creed Aventus for Her. If you're not in the mood it's annoying to wear.
Loved this!!!💙💙💙always sad to have fails and misses but they make some of the most fun videos to watch (and good for us to know what we might to avoid). ❌⭕️❌⭕️
Heeey, beautiful!! Long time no see! Visiting Saudi Arabia for about a month to see my daughter now. Fresh back from FIFA where awesomeness is currently living & your video popped up first! Those misses for you sound awful, for sure. MY major "nowayJose" is ALIEN MUSC MYSTERIEUX! Based on the epic notes listed, I blind bought it just....could NOT! Straight up barnyard! How are all those Fragranticans loving it on some ethereal level & I'm getting heavy on the animalic? So, I tried again a few months later....and....nope! "I canna do it, Captain!" (My Scotty voice) So, there she sits. On a shelf. In my closet. Taking up expensive space. LOL Love from Saudi!
I'm so jealous of your FIFA ⚽️ trip and now visiting SA! I want to come too! I have that Alien (and I like it)! 🤣 It is definitely animalic though! You are right. I hope you can pass it along and get another beauty to fill that space. 🥰🥰🥰
No not the whiff of a waffle 😭😭😭 no delicious ice cream shop or pastry shop in Paris lol why why the gasoline you can’t get it to do what you want it to do 🤣🤣🤣, vetiver elemi the name scares me 😱,ABSOLUTELY NO to NYC subway stench, GIRLLLLLL my no no’s are sitting on my front shelf lol I’m still trying to see if there’s hope for some ☺️😉 you made me laugh not just smile I even hurt myself with the cough but so worth it ❤️
Heeeey Sunny! Yes, that Whiff of a Waffle Cone has remained stubborn. It had a moment where it seemed to be getting better, but alas, nope. Gasoline. 😄 Glad I brought you a few chuckles. Hope you're feeling better! 🥰🥰🥰
Hello Veronica, that missing cap of Jardins De Bagatelle's tester seems to be a universal thing😄😄 and was my reason not to buy it. My fails this year were few, may be I am losing my adventurous spirit 😁....however those fails were Montale Intense Cafe, Carner's Tardes, Elie Saab Le Perfum. In general none of Montale and Mancera works for me.
Hi Fatema! 💖 Oh my! The case of the missing cap 🤣 I'm glad you had few fails - sounds like you had a winning year! I enjoy Le Parfum but I know it's a loud one. 🥴😄
My worst blind buys were Dua cotton candy, and Italiano. I could not believe how horrible they smelled on my skin. I know people love them, but I was super bummed 😫
Love Chopard was one for me. I was expecting a spicy rose bomb and all I got was sugared violets. I'm not giving up on it yet but a perfume that has 9 rose notes with a hardly discernible rose is a fail indeed!
Ohh you can’t smell Another 13 either!! What about Baccarat 540?? I can’t smell that one AT ALL! Blessing and a curse but I have tried BR540 twice at the store and I smell nothing just like Another 13
Ohh I just found this: “It has a molecular mass of 236 db. Each of us has a unique set of olfactory receptors, but in general, the higher the molecular mass, the higher the chance we won't be able to smell something properly, or at all. So any ambroxan-heavy fragrance, like Baccarat, is going to give some noses trouble.”
Omg, I feel the same about Gucci-Rush, glad I only had a sample. You described it perfectly, it made me gag. My worst blind buy this year was Matcha Meditation , the jasmine was disgustingly sweet , other fails: lolita lempicka -lolitaland and oh ma biche. I managed to declutter all of them
Yeah, Gucci Rush was a big let down for me, but many love it. That's thr strange thing about fragrance - you just never know from one person to the next what the reaction will be! I love Lolitaland! Did you find it too sweet or something else?
@@VeronicaSays that’s very true. For me Lolitaland smelled like something sythethic mixed with pickle juice and something green like celery, very weird
Omg #imdead gang of cats🤣🤣 I literally just ordered a travel spray of By the Fireplace and Milk, and I'm getting the Nest one you called out as a sampler...we shall see.. I was thinking the same thing you were about it. Waffle cone, another that was on my list. Thank you for the heads up I love everyone's comments, ever wonder what kind of personality type we must be to be this into fragrances?🤣😬😵💫🤷🏼♀️
Girl!! We fragrance lovers are a frigging bizarre bunch, and I LOVE IT! 🤣🤣🤣 Let me know your thoughts on Golden Nectar. Many people love it, so wondering if you like it.
Veronica Says Golden Nectar, not wearable...I cant place it, there's some accord in it that I feel is ruining the whole thing...is it the "suede" thats not really smelling suede? Its smelling like 9.99 synthetic suede from Payless... Btw loving Fireplace and Milk. I think I have a Golden Nectar headache :/
My blind buy disappointment was a d- squared perfume that I thought would be woody or musky given the name. Woods. In any case, it is fresh and fruity. Too bad you didn't like Tresor. It's an old school gem that I like. I only remember the old formulation, so maybe it really has changed. The peach did make it hard for me to wear in the nineties... My sister wore it a lot and I liked it on her. Maybe they made it more peachy 🤦
Is it the pink Dsquared bottle? I forget the exact name. Yes, the original Tresor formulation translated differently in the air, and/or maybe my sense of smell has really changed. 😩
Thanks for another entertaining and informative video. Jimmy Choo Jimmy Choo. There's something I can't put my finger on that bothers me in the dry down. I love the opening but the rest of it. I have tried to love it but it's still a no.
Hi Jenn!! I thought Dior Addict was bizarre when I first tried it. I hope it grows on you, but if it doesn't, that's totally okay! And perhaps you can pass it along or sell it. I love it now, but didn't always.
I've had a few that I didn't like that much, but two real fails come to mind. One was Franck Olivier Oud Vanille. All I could smell for hours was choky smoke. And I even like to burn incense occasionally in my house in the window sill so some wafts inside and some outside. I got no vanilla, def no oud and hours later, something under the smoke that I couldn't identify. One of my sons was visiting, I asked him to smell it. He said it was smoky and weird, but he took it home with him anyway. Maybe it reminds me of our house fire in 2013, hard to say, but I can't stand the smell of smoke, generally, and if it veers to cigarette smoke, count me out. The other one has multiple glowing reviews on Fragrantica, on many RUclips channels and other places. I think you even reviewed this one, thought it must be wonderful so I kept looking at it and looking at it and finally pulled the trigger. It was Wisal Dhahab. I like many Middle Eastern scents, but this one literally choked me with the strong rose opening. I can't get past it. I've let it sit, tried it again and all I get is rose, rose, rose...and I'm not a rose fan. Rose has to be a shy supporting player, not a diva! I don't sell on Ebay or Mercari so I guess it will sit here for a year or two and see if it changes into something I can wear. There were others that didn't work on my skin chemistry. Some of the Cuba line are very nice and highly affordable line, the ones that come in cigar shaped bottles. I like most, some are even dupes for higher end fragrances, but two were just not for me. Cuba Miami smells too much like freshly cut grass, though it does dry down okay later, but I donated it, just too fresh for me. The worst one got great reviews on Fragrantica and other places, Cuba Jungle Snake. It smells lovely from the sprayer, but oh my, on my skin? It is straight up feces! And it never gets better. Disgusting! It has to be my skin chemistry since so many seem to love it. That also was donated to the Humane Society Thrift Store. Those were my two worst. Thankfully, neither cost an arm and a leg, but for super thrifty me, over $30 is a lot of money for something I can't use at all. ~Cynthia
Hey Cynthia! Ah yes, I did review Wisal Dhahab. I have it for sale now, only because I prefer others. I still think it's pleasant though. However, if you don't like rose, it would be hard to enjoy that one. About that house fire smell - I totally get it! That burned or burning smell is so difficult to "unsmell" once you detect it, and it would make it hard to enjoy a fragrance with it. Ugh! I'm so sorry you went through that, by the way. 😔 How awful! I've never tried any of the Cuba ones. Thanks for sharing your impressions! I'm glad you have a place to donate your unloved ones. 💖💖💖
@@VeronicaSays There is a fragrance for everybody so it's all good! I've found some lovely ones in my blind buy journeys, very few actual duds. Scent is such a personal thing and skin chemisty always has the last word! Love your videos, always a pleasure.
did you say "year in review?!" Yes, please!!! Your awards are among my favourite videos on this platform. :)
I did! Thank you for weighing in - you are tooooo kind. 🥰🥰🥰
Yes!! I love her monthly awards!!
Agree!
Omg! 😂🤣 you kill me with the leg warmer comment with Gucci Rush!
LMBO!! Can you see it, though? 🤣🤣🤣
I totally understand! Thanks for sharing! 💖🙏
Hi Cherri! I'll definitely do a year in review. Thank you. Awww so sorry L'Eclat was a let down. I enjoy that one! 🥰
Hi Veronica, yeah, waffle cone wasn’t a good blind for me either! I love this idea! Looking forward to blind buy winners!
Hi Lisa! Glad I'm not alone with Whiff of a Waffle Cone. I really wanted to love it! Thanks for watching. 🥰
Hello!
This was a great video. ❤. Can’t wait to see your favorite buys! I definitely wanna see a year in review video! Yes 👍 🎉❤
Thank you, Jackie! 💖 I will definitely do a year in review. Light a candle 🕯 for me! Going to be hard to choose 😩
That is why I always watch your channel. I just take note of what you and other content creator says about a fragrance. If more than 3 creators say it's good then I buy it so thank you Veronica. 😊
Believe it or not, I watch RUclips the same way, too!! 🤣
“I can’t get the waffle cone, to waffle cone”. 😂😂😂😂😂. Love it! And love your honesty!
Thank youuuu! 💖 That lack of waffle cone-ness hurt alllll of my feelings. 🤣
"Gang of cats that went potty" 😹😹 I'm dead
I know. That was bad. 🫣
Year in review is a fantastic idea Veronica 🤗🌅
Thank you, June! You got it! 🥰🥰🥰
Worst blind buy this year is definitely Good Fortune by Viktor&Rolf. Very boring, generic scent, loved the bottle tho. Sold it on.
Great review, as per. ❤
Hi Mrs. Cook! Yes, a pleasant scent. Nothing more or less. Good for you for selling it on. Now you room for something you'll love more. 🥰
@Veronica Says 👍💯👌precisely, beautiful 😍
@@crystalclear5684 yes, exactly. Even after maceration, many are just meh... so no more!
Kayali Sugared Patchouli was a huge fail for me. I liked the opening, but the mid and dry down are gross.
Hi Jamie!
Yep "with gay abandon" is correct Veronica 😁
Why is it always the fragrances that one finds revolting are the ones that stick around forever on one's skin?? 😡
I've spent too much money on samples of quite expensive niche fragrances this year to have the money for any blind buys!
Hey Danielle! 💖 You are too kind! Thank you 🥰 I agree that Sunkissed Hibiscus blows the other out of the water. Pretty bottle too! 🥳
Wow I recently fell in love with Nest Golden nectar and I’m more of a niche person! Just goes to show we all have different body chemistry
☠️☠️☠️😩😩😩 I am dry heaving laughing at the taxidermied animal on fire! 🤣 I do like the other two though. You are so funny! Thanks for watching 💖

Holy moly Babycat I agree smelled terrible to me
Hey boo! Gucci Rush, it’s so polarizing “I could put a leg warmer on it” 😂😂😂 I wore it recently. I’m a weirdo 🤪
You're MY weirdo and I'm yours! We're all weirdos in this fragrance lover world. That's why we all get along! Rock that Gucci Rush! 🥰🥰🥰
Moschino toy 2 bubble gum was a big NO. I think it has some sort of ambroxan in it that smelled terrible on me and made me feel sick. Loved the bottle, but not enough to keep it.
Hi Gracie! 🥰 I've heard this same complaint about Toy 2 - you are not alone!
I mostly LOVE a lot but there has been some BAD ones and the bad thing with us in Australia is that u cant return them and we don't have Mercari... which we need urgently... loving all of your content
Have a Nice Day 😊
Aw that stinks that you don't have a way to return or sell off ones that don't work for you. I wasn't super crazy about Mauboussin either. I suppose you have to be extra careful then with your purchases.
Similar reason when I bought Tresor 4 years ago, because my mother wore it in the 90s. But the recent formulation is just boring, light, and uninspiring. I sold mine.
Hi Yuki! 💖 Right. I just did NOT enjoy the recent one. 🥴
I’m happy to have used up my Whiff of a Waffle Cone. I read a review that it smelled like burnt hair and let me tell you I smelled that every spray thereafter!
Oh no! Not burnt hair! But gosh, it DOES. 🥴 No repurchase there. 😎
Super surprised abour Whiff of A Wafflecone, just based on others reviews of it. That's too bad. Good to know it's not a safe blind buy.
Yeah... I was hoping for a different experience! 🤷♀️🤔
The original Tresor.,..I purchased because of the notes and said no ma'am, but my Aunt loved it and it smells Amazing on her
No kidding?! Isn't that crazy! 😱
I have to be careful with honey too. I won’t blind buy a scent with honey. Peach can do that to me too.
Hey Jen! Oh wow! I'm surprised to see Nebras. I haven't smelled it, but so many just adore it!
I want to like Imaginary Authors so bad. Their fragrances give me the worst headaches. But the art and the inspirations speak to me so much. I had hope for waffle cone.
Hi Apryl! 💖 I agree. The aesthetic of the house is very appealing as are the names and labels.
Tresor is a hard one to love… just like Poeme.
Yes, I suppose so. 🤷♀️
Love the idea of the year- end review videos! So much fun.
Hey Nancy! I am putting my list together this weekend. Pray for me 😆
I purchased Rose Eclat this year and I didn’t love it at all. I’m going to try it one more time. Crystal Nior was a fail as well. I would definitely love to see a year in review
Both of those are the Versace versions? I will be doing the Year in Review. Woohoo! Now... to choose in each category. 😩🥴🫣😆
@@VeronicaSays Both of them were so terrible to me. I really tried. I may try the EDT one more time .
Kaylai burning cherry … and commodity milk expressive…. I even let them

Hey Jennifer! Oh, mixing Burning Cherry with BTF sounds like a great idea! I LOVE Milk Expressive. Sorry it didn't work for you! Hope you can sell it or pass it on to a friend or family member. 💖
From what I remember I have only one blind buy fail - Yes I am (cacharel) but I had a few that I liked and after a few times I just can't. so weird🤔
Same. That's one of many reasons why perfume reviews are so unpredictable! It works, then it doesn't. And vice versa. 🤷♀️ Such a fickle thing.

Hello Veronica,
blind buy failures are super disappointing!
@J N i used to sell fragrances at Nordstrom in the 90s and my coworker called her “A-stink Goutal” 😂😂 we couldn’t stand any of her scents.
@@Sufferingsassafrass 😂😂😂
Chris Collins- sweet taboo is my worse blind by of the year. expensive and just not a love. I couldnt find a tester so I took a chance. Thanks for the video, you are awesome!
Hi Mercedes! Thank you sooo much. I have been hesitant to buy Chris Collins. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Hi Kate! Thanks so much! 💖 Aw, I love that you have such a good memory of Rush in the original formulation. 🥰🥰🥰
Ebony wood is kinda not working for me. I love the smell but it is too strong for me. Something i could not tolerate was crystal noir.
Hi Hoda! I have both of these but I can certainly see how they would not work for a lot of people. Thanks for sharing! 🥰💖

Hey Denise! Oh no! I really enjoy both of those Afnans and La Belle. I remember you saying Holidays was a no. I enjoy it, but can see how people are put off by it. Burberry Elixir reminds me of strawberry ice cream which makes me gag. 🥴🥴🥴 Thanks for watching! 💖
Eau de merveilles by Hermes I wanted to love that fragrance give it a few tries but every time was only headaches and sick feeling🤕
Hi Liliana! 💖 Thanks for sharing your experience with this one. 👍
I almost blind bought Malia a few years back and so glad that I didn’t. I got to sample it later and it would’ve been a fail for sure
Gurrrllll!! That Malia is something else. Took my olfactory senses by storm. Category 5 Hurricane. 😂😂😂

Thanks for weighing in. Glad I'm not alone on this one! You're lucky to have bought only a travel spray! 😩
I get it.

That would have been so awesome🥰🥰
I was so disappointed with CLOUD,
LIGHT BLUE, and LOLITALAND. CASABLANCA and BOND NO.9 NEW YORK NIGHTS was just too strong for me.
I could name a few more but those immediately came to mind.
Hi Pamela! Oh I love some of these. Sorry they didn't work for you! 😩 What were some of your faves?
Yes to a review of your year 🎉💛
Hey girl, hey!!!
Oh no! I literally just got that one in the mail 😂😂😂
Love it!
LMBO! It's the HR-appropriate voice for ME! 😆 Katie's videos are so entertaining. Thanks for this compliment! 💖💖💖
Awww what a shame you didn’t get along with Gucci Rush! I really love that one but I totally see what you’re saying, it’s a love or hate for a lot of people ❤
It's a polarizing one, for sure! Sounds the reformulation is problematic for people, too. Did you have an OG version?
Shagaf oud … xerjoff erba pura ….were big Nono’s for me
Hi Yomna! 💖 Oh no! I enjoy Shaghaf Oud but it is definitely challenging! Thanks for watching 🥰
Courageous video. Hard to say publicly stuff that did not work for us.
Thanks, Maude! I always find it helps me to hear other people's positive AND negative experiences. Saves me money! 🥳
Finally an honest review on Whiff of Waffle Cone.
Hi Carolyn! 💖 Have you tried it? I wish it was a better experience for me.
Hey beaut ❤ I must admit almost every perfume I buy is a blind buy 😅 thankfully I haven’t had too many fails but it is so disappointing when you’re really excited about something and then it bombs 😢
Hi Ang! 💖 Many of my purchases are also blind buys. I agree - it can be so disappointing. 😧
All in all a good year 🙂😊
Georgina! 😂😂😂 That baby feces took me out! ☠️ Thanks for sharing your wins and fails from the year!
Absolutely love Whiff of a waffle cone ❤
Hi Lyndsi! Lots of people really adore it. 🥰 Thanks for watching 💖
@@VeronicaSaysAnd the old adage comes to mind...'It's like fine wine...' ☺️
Hope you're having a beautiful Sunday 💖🎄✨🌹🥂
I bought an oriental fragrance called Mazanjii, great fragrance great performance but it was not for me. I gave it to my grandmother and she adored it. She wears it every day and re sprays several times a day, even though it is a monster performer.
Hi Mariana! 🥰 I've never heard of Mazanji. I'll have to look it up - now I'm curious! Love that your grandmother oversprays! 😄
My mom uses tresor, I’m 31, I enjoy the fragrance for night outs
Awesome! Do you know if your bottle is an original formulation?
I can so relate with ruining my sleep with the fragrance that I am wearing 😂 I can’t remember if I blind bought fragrance this year that did not work for me 🤔 i for sure had more than a handful last year…
Hey girl! Yeah... it was a really sad night. 🥴 You've purchased very mindfully this year! 👏👏👏
Hi Veronica, have to catch up with your videos, really enjoy them. Love your input and experience and of course your lovely personality. 🙂
Hi Jessika! 💖 Aw thank you so very much! Lovely comment. 🥰
I loved tresor when it came out in the 90s. It smelled like peach yogurt to me. My mom also had a tresor body cream that looked like yogurt. 😍 It was one of the first perfumes I had tried as a kid 😊 but yes it is definitely artificial smelling
Oh I love the memory! Peach yogurt smells kinda good! 🍑 🍑 🍑 Thanks so much for watching 💖
Thank you very much, Veronica! LOL@ Trésor hurt your feelings! 🤣
@@starrynight6223 Tresor was so rude. 🤣
You didn't find a long lost treasure in this one! 🤣
@@starrynight6223 no I did not!
I'm with you on gucci rush. I lived the og formula but the reformulated version is awfully plastic. My worst blind buy was rihanna rebel. (The black bottle) That stuff burnt the hair from my nostrils. 🤮. Sorry if I've offended anyone.
Not the poor nostril hairs? I'm dead ☠️ Oh my goodness 🤣 I do wish I could have smelled the original Rush formulation. I feel like I missed out.
Ohhhh can’t wait for this one! Let’s see what you got. ❤
Thanks so much for watching, my friend! 💖
Thank you thank you💕💕💕
Waffle cone was a mess for me too. It smelled like a hot curling iron. That's it. A hot curling iron.
Felicia! 🤣 I hollered! Yes, girl. A hot curling iron. ☠️☠️☠️
I love vetiver, but it is a tricky note. Miller Harris does it right.
Hi Marielle! 💖 Which Miller Harris fragrance stands out to you as a well-done vetiver?
@@VeronicaSays to me, especially Vetiver Insolence. And a bit less prominent, Lumière Dorée

My worse blind buy was Adam Levine for her. I bought it before the scandal broke. Needless to say, I voted it off the island as soon as I heard about it.
Love from the spooky Pine Barrens in NJ
Heeeey Tiffany! 💖 I like his fragrance but many HATE it. I hate what HE did recently. Sigh. Why can people just be loyal? Lord.

I’ve worn some but they do not currently fit with my fragrance direction if there is such a thing, so they are currently on the declutter pile😱😱. Looking forward to your next offering🤩🤩.
@@Christine-uf3oj yikes! Not good! 🤨

Hi Lynette! 💖 Oh so sorry. I am one of the weirdos that likes both of those fragrances! 🥴🥴🥴 I can see how others might not love them though.
Love Chopard was one for me. I was expecting a spicy rose bomb and all I got was sugared violets. I'm not giving up on it yet but a perfume that has 9 rose notes with a hardly discernible rose is a fail indeed!
Oof! Sorry, Wendi. I would tend to agree! Sugared violets sounds unappealing. 🥴
Hi Katy! Yes, I can smell BR540 quite fine. I wish I could smell Another 13. Like you said, maybe it's a blessing - one less thing to purchase! 🤷♀️😆😩
Love Another 13 HATE BR540.. when I can smell it😂
I tried to love Whiff of a waffle cone too but dang it was so sweet and just was too much for me 😢
Hey girl! I wish I got a lot of "sweet." I wonder if my bottle was not totally right. 🤔

@SK_abstract_art I agree! There is something just... "off" for me.
Saaaaaame here! It's like "almost" a love except it just can't get there because of something irritating and suffocating in it. 🥴🥴🥴
Hi Veronica, my worst blind buy was Dior Addict and I’m so disappointed because it seems everyone else loves it but me?? 😫
