Thanks for sharing the details about the Bi-Centennial Quarter. Collectors and non collectors liked still like this handsome quarter. I am really excited to see what the The United States Semiquincentennial or the Bisesquincentennial, the Sestercentennial or the Quarter Millennial (2026) will look like on all the change 50 years after the Bi-centennial.
I just found like 5 of these quarters when going through my quarters to put in my books. I am just starting so still learning alot. Thanks for the videos
I just found one of these metal detecting. Of Course I’ll never sell any of my coins because money comes and goes but I can look at my found treasures an attach a memory. For instance, my girlfriend got me a metal detector for my birthday. within a month I found an 1897 barber dime in a place that has been heavily detected. I don’t even care what they are worth and don’t look into it. My job pays me well and memories can’t be replaced.

Please forgive me,I ask this question with honest curiosity. I own a Columbus half dollar. Is this not the earliest” example of a commemorative coin struck for circulation? @BlueRidgeSilverhound have you ever heard of the black beauty variety?? I can only find info on them on nickels. Wondering have you heard of quarters having this variation?? I believe I have a bicentennial quarter with it
I have a bunch of Bicentennial quarters I have to take a look at them and make sure I don't have some with errors on them or die cracks especially if they're going for $10 a piece I got at least 150 to 200 of them if not more than that I have collected over the years
I have an error that looks like smeared stars. With pitting on the heads side. Delam n copper green crust in the edges n not a perfect circle. Should I get it graded?
So question here I have one of these quarters that is in damn near perfect condition but on the back the drummer boys hair tie is essentially missing, what is the value of one of those because I have never been able to find a sold price
I’ve got one pretty close to uncirculated the error is the left side of his face isn’t there looks like it slipped right below his face but above the drum! However the right side is perfectly intact?
You can go down to any little store like a place here. I have in Baltimore Maryland call Charlie Ward. It’s a little tiny store. You can go in there and buy by Centennial Quarter all day long and I think you go to Bank and buy them too.
How could anyone NOT see little Shirley Temples face? And then there’s the star, on Washington’s temple/forehead… This coin has to be worth a whole lot more than just $10 bucks??? Right???
I just found in pocket change two of them one’s a real shiny wing and one’s doll. I mean they’re all the same date but no scratches or nothing on them. They look like brand quarters. I don’t know if the stock and whatever it’s called to familiar with coins.
I have a bicentennial half dollar that’s missing the “Al” on Independence H L! Do you think it would be worth trying to sell?! If so what $$ do I ask for it n where do I?!
No one really, unless they are in exceptionally good contidion, or have desired rare errors. This is one of the most common years, with a total of over 1.6 billion coins being minted between Denver, Philadelphia, and San Fransisco combined. I believe the only year with a higher mintage was 1965, which was over 1.8 billion.
I have one with the drummer guy only has one drum stick
I have one he's playing the banjo.

10$ is the absolute least youd get for an error. some error bicentennials go for 1000$+
How do you keep up with all the little things to know if you have a coin that is worth something?
Same with anything. Like playing guitar or riding a bike. Start with basics and eventually you’ll know lots. Pretty simple really.
How much is a silver coin25 cents from the year 1964
I have two
One of them is double die reverse on stars
