Why not just try the tops with black jeans, I find black jeans hide a multitude of sins, maybe it’s just me but I find light blue jeans show every line! Xxxx
I'm with you on the tops...I have the same problem exactly! body positivity and acceptance are wonderful but i'm too self conscious about my belly! an idea for the tops you find that you love but are just that tiny bit short is you could sew a strip of lace to the bottom in the same colour or a complimentary colour...

I like dresses much more without leggings or thights... I used to wear leggings or thights every time I used dresses and one day I said to myself: you are freaking young, if you don't show your legs now then when?? They aren't going to look better than this lol and guess what? No-one looked at me weird or passed out because I have stretch marks, I even forgot I had them until I had to write these comment because they seriously don't bother me anymore lol Sometimes you have to pretend to be confident to become confident :)
i started to tattoo mine I actually like my legs now.
I really thought the first jeans and black top looked fantastic on you. You look great because you are not wearing moo moos like you choose for dresses. Love yourself. You are so pretty and that outfit makes you look so much thinner.
Lovely clothes 😍 I’m 5ft 8 and I hate my stomach on show 😩 my trick is to put a long line vest under each top to cover it 👍🏻 just an idea but always works well for me when I like a short top xx

When I find a top that dont cover my bottom belly I put a long vest top underneath to add and extra layer at the part I don't like on show

You're so pretty, you look good in everything. If you're self conscious though about the length of some of the tops, like another poster said, wear black pants with them. They do hide lumps and bumps better than lighter jeans.
I agree with you on the length of tops. I thought it was just me. I'm just not brave or confident enough to wear short tops and in all plus size retailers this is an issue. There seems to be more crop tops than longer tops it's a shame 😥
I’m the same shape as you and like to have the same problem with tops not being long enough :( I’ve found the best place to get tops and jumpers is yours. They all seem to be longer!
I actually love that everyone has different tastes buy it does make buying plus size clothes tricky. I have massive legs so I can't do tight skinny jeans. Lucy's from SB are perfect for me. I also Hate long tops and will only wear tops which hit me at the top of my jeans/waist, so I only buy cropped tops. I'm only 5ft so any longer and I feel like a dumpy ball. If you like longer tops you should try yours, I can't buy any tops from them as they are all too long.
Try not to worry so much about your shape - the tops all looked great on you. I can see myself in you - when I was younger. Wear what you like, your face and legs are lovely. Love your channel. xx

It's great to know some influencers actually contact the company and let them know if a product of faulty or not as required. I find a lot of influencers just leave it and don't give any sort of feedback. Great video!

Try the Asda George jeggings. They go up to a size 28 and they're bomb!
Also I TOTALLY agree with you, why can't they make the tops longer as the sizes go up? Grr it upsets me every time as I'm like you and don't like when they're above the belly line

I like to buy short dresses and wear them as tunics and they cover my stomach.

I just had the same idea lol Specially if you are tall, short dresses would really look like tunics!
If you just whant to wear the tops, sew a little bit of fabrik or lace at the bottom to cover what you need. Only takes a few minits😊

I'm with you on the shirt length issue. And I lift my arms when I try on too. I'll usually wear a longer tank under a shirt if it's just a little too short
I totally feel you with your belly I always hide mine but you should keep the top with the hearts cause it suits you wear black trousers leggings the polka dots suits you so much xx
Found your channel a few days ago and I’m hooked! I am a size 28 as well and it is really nice to see someone trying clothes that I can actually buy and fit in 😊 I find that I have to size up a lot just to cover the belly so it really is a relatable issue. You should definitely try new look curves, it’s great and good prices! Hope you’re well, love your videos! ❤️

For the tops you want extra coverage at the bottom try wearing a long camisole underneath. It'll give you the coverage and won't take away too much from the top. I've done that before and liked the way it looks.
Have you thought of trying the tops with a cute skirt.. I agree with wearing longer vests underneath
Skirts scare me to be honest! But I need to give them another try I think! Xx
I have the same problem with skinny jeans Trina-Louise! I have skinny ankles. Go darker with your jeans to hide the belly lines, but those look super cute on you..... Maybe try looking for tops that come in a "tall" option? I always do that when looking for tops to wear with leggings. Best of luck to you 😊

Hey! First of all, I love your personality and you seem absolutely lovely! Your make-up is also on fleek, absolutely gorgeous :) I understand that you don't want your belly showing like that.. Even though the jeans really don't do you justice, you might want to work on your insecurities whether that be physically or mentally. Hear me out! I'm really not trying to be mean but my heart breaks when I hear you wanting to wear tops that look like tents because you want to hide your figure. I was a plus-size girl, I'm now more round the mid-size range. I was really insecure about how my body looked and also wanted to wear the same kind of clothing, as in clothing that hid all my lumps and bumps. I got sucked into the whole idea that I didn't want to change to prove a point to family and friends who nagged me about my size and even though I slapped a smile on my face, I didn't like the way I looked. There were 2 solutions: either I taught myself to love the size I was or I changed it. Honestly, I first had to accept my size and force myself to love my body how it was to change into a different lifestyle. I'm now losing weight and I really don't regret it. I wouldn't have commented this if I thought you were completely comfortable
I think this is a lovely message btw, I love watching this girl as she is lovely and gorgeous but she isn’t comfy with her tummy and she does look great in jeans apart from that.
Have you heard of shirt extenders? They sell them online. I make my own It is easy. I use these when I have a top that feels tooahort. Try it!
I’m the same with the top situation. But what I normally do is get a cami dress from primark , I’m tall so it covers just my bum and ‘that area’ and I wear it under everything and it hids the lumps and bumps!! Xxx ps you look beautiful in everything!
I'm an 18 and I bought tops from here too and had the exact same problem..every top was too short and I'm only 5ft! So no..it makes no difference what height you are...they're just made too short. It's ridiculous! And yes..I'm still binging on your videos! x
I'm the same height and dress size as you and experience the same problems as I'm also the same shape. I buy jeggings from yours and find they're a good fit . The problem with the tops I think is our height we have longer torsos, I look to see the models height and where it lies on them to try and avoid the line across my tummy. Thoroughly enjoying your site xx
Hi. They sell something called shirt extenders that you wear under tops to give you more coverage. They have lots of varieties on Etsy from simple tee shirt material to chiffon to lace.
And on Amazon.
Totally agree with the length of tops, I end up wearing dresses all the time as no tops are the length I would want!! I also have the same problem with baggy ankles, it drives me crazy, even leggings that fit everywhere else perfectly have baggy ankles!!!! X
Hi.love your vides.they are so helpful .i find tops are too short ,so I buy short dress,s for wearing with jeans.i also hate the way shoulders are always too wide.manufacturers don’t take into account that our shoulders generally don’t get wider if our bodies get bigger.sue.

I’m 5’9” too and I hate when tops are too short! I could always have them shortened if needed so I wish brands would default a little longer. I find 90% of eloqui tops to be too short and it’s soooo frustrating! I love your honest videos❤️
So glad I found your channel! We’re the same size & shape (even down to the slimmer legs) so it’s nice to see someone who isn’t afraid to feel gorgeous & confident enough try fashions out & give honest feedback. There needs to be more of us!! 😆I am a frequent buyer of the Lucy jean, however, the quality & fit constantly changes & more so than not, end up less & less jean-like. Also I find they end up as chaps due to thigh rub after a few weeks. Saying that, they’re the best of the high waisted skinny for plus sizes; which doesn’t say much really. Evans is a complete waste of space (& again quality) these days in my opinion, but would love to see you try jeans from Yours Clothing, Shein, Bon Prix & the cheap fashion places who are plus size friendly.

Have you tried the Newlook lift and shape Jean's? They're amazing and work absolute wonders😍 they contour your body and fit legs really well
H&m are good for longer length tops usually 😀
I often have the opposite problem with simply be I have very big legs and can only wear wide leg jeans if I want to wear jeans cause everytime I try skinny they just don't fit me properly.
I agree with the length of the tops with being 5ft 9 sometimes you just want it to hit a little bit lower than they do rather than cutting your belly in half.
in saying that though most of my clothes are from simply be maybe I need to branch out more!!
Persevere with trying to find a pair of jeans. I hate simply be jeans I've tried so many pairs and they never fit right.
I ended up trying some mom jeans from newlook thinking they would not fit, but because they are meant to be baggy they fit me as if they were straight leg jeans. X

Have you considered shapewear? I find that it really helps support and smooth my lower belly. I am 5’10” and a size 28. I feel so much more comfortable with the shorter tops. A little FYI about shapewear.... buy it a size bigger than you would normally fit into. That way it smooths things out, but you can actually still breathe.

I'm only 5'5" but I have the same issue with tops, they are never long enough to cover my tummy. I like to hide all the same areas you do. I'm not brave enough to wear dresses either, I wish I was as there are some pretty ones out there.
I like my tummy covered also and i normally wear white or black tunic length camis under all my tops, gives a layered look and smooths me out and covers my tummy :-)
I really loved all of them but I would have the same problem. Most plus sized shirts are not long enough

I have the same issues with skinny jeans. I have smaller legs. May I suggested some wide leg trousera with the heart top you really love. Works well with me to hide my belly. I wear them to work all the time.
You should try Asda wonderful jeans. I'm so 20/22 bottom ms, but their size 18 fits great and thy are so comfortable

I find a lot of the tops are made for those without a stomach so the are uncomfortably tight in the middle bit and way too short in length. As a larger lady I don't like clingy tops because they make me self conscious and manufacturers need to be aware and maybe get ladies of differing sizes to show them what works and what doesn't
Love the clothes, but I'm in US. Your personality is so cute, and you looked great. I know you have to be comfortable, but the tops looked fabulous on you! With the dark jeans, especially flattering!
I find with simple be their jeggings are a better fit. With the spaghetti straps I either wear a cardigan or a unbuttoned shirt
I love watching this channel as she is lovely and gorgeous, and I think the jeans look great in the legs but I understand her tummy insecurities, this makes me feel for her.
I think every top looks really cute on you but just a TIP is to search for short dresses, you are tall so short dresses would be tunic lenght on you :)
I had not seen this video when i made my comment to chose something els than glowery dresses. You look great in jeans because you have thin legs and in the dresses you wear you cannot see that. We hve a very simmilar build. I wear my jeans and leggings tight and than a bit looser longer tunic it shows of the legs much better. Jeans make you younger, just try a longer tunic (flowery or not) and you will look amazing!
Try high wasted jeans by simply be i wear them and they look so good and are really comfy

Hi Tracey, I only use SNAG too, they are the best I have found! But I could do a video where I try different brands again to see if I can find any cheaper tights that work as well. I will add that to my list! Xx
Why don't you buy a dress and shorten to a top? That way you'll get the length you want. Or, add some dark guipur type lace to the hem of the tops to make them longer? I always alter my clothes to tailor my needs, makes the more unique too
Always love your content. Have you tried rosegal? They are an American site, but make super cute clothes in plus size range. ( I am a 26-28 and have never had to send back a top or dress!) Might be worth checking out.

I hate jeans shopping I’m a size 24 but have a huge pouch and thighs and they usually don’t fit correctly jeans are never tight at the bottom and if they are then they don’t get past my huge thighs let alone button up 😭
Maybe try shapewear? It won’t get rid of the pouch but I find for me it definitely smooths it out so it’s not as defined :) Also with your bra strap problem, I wear a bra that has same/similar colour to the straps of the tops so it looks like a cute double strap situation hahaha xo

it's such a shame that plus size companies don't do a tall range. I'm only 5'6" but feel the need to wear long tops to hid my overhang belly. Yours clothing are good for longer tops. I struggle with jeans due to huge thighs, calves and shins, so tend to stick with jeggings.
My tummy is the same but it sits lower than yours, I'm also very tall with the same type of body type as you. Some days I feel comfortable with having my tummy showing other days I like to have it covered up. I like to pick up singlet tops from ASOS that help on those days to pop under other tops that sit a tad higher. 🌹
Hi I like your humble confidence and great face!❤ For the spaghetti top bra issue, get a bra where you can play with straps similar to color of top. So for the black strappy cami you had on, get black bra with removable straps and cross them. It'll look cooler and you'll have the support you need.

I think you need to wear tunics with Jean's witch are longer if you want to cover more, if that's how you feel comfortable, especially as your quite tall. Personally I don't care about showing bra straps if you do wear a bra with pretty straps or the plastic see through ones.

I have ordered so many different tops from simplybe and I’ve been disappointed each and every time. They are not true to size and way too short in length. The only thing that I buy from s.b. and is true to size are the sculpt and shape jeans.
Those shirts were really cute on you, But I get what u say about the front...too short. Very hard to find plus size Tall clothes. Not all heavy women are short! My family are 6 ft, jeans are tough

I have a passionate hatred of 'skinny' jeans with wide floppy ankles. They look horrible, and all 'skinny' plus size jeans seem to have the same problem. Over it. Great video. Thank you. :)

If you order from the “yours clothing” website they have a section called long line tops.me and you are the same body shape so I know the struggle hun. I love that last top if it was just a couple of inches longer grrr!
I will wear a bra that matches the main color of the strappy top, a strapless bra(cacique), or clear bra straps, or a cardigan or sleeved top.
I have an over hanging tummy too, and am self conscious about it. Please know those tops lengths didn't look bad on you, but it's hard not to be self conscious about them I get it.
I started putting on weight after my son was born 14 years ago and due to depression comfort eating became a way of life. I’m a size 24 and got upset with horrible comments in the media about plus size women. I hid in baggy jumpers and t shirts and now thanks to your videos I have ordered things I’d never have usually worn and I love them!! Thank you for giving me the courage x
The jeans look really good on you I have a disability and then in a chair so I have to buy dresses that are easy on and off so if you can try to show some longer dresses because when I'm sitting short ones look really short even if they're not and since I'm in a chair 90% of the time I'm always sitting
