Anuaa Adadzewa Awotwe how do they get chocked? If you’re moving to Gambia, most of the things he mentioned won’t matter. What will matter, is affordability and from what I’ve heard, Gambia is much more. Also, if Gambia is poorer, that’s means opportunity. It’s disadvantages can be your opportunities. Also, Gambia has little Ghana or Ghana town

I'm Ghanaian and I believe both countries have something to offer. If you are older, like retired and have a fixed income, The Gambia is overall cheaper so your money would go farther. But if you are younger and still would like to enjoy a vibrant social and night life as well as a strong Pan-African community then I would recommend Ghana.
I would also like to correct a misconception about Ghana's cost of living, Accra is expensive but outside of that Ghana is very affordable. Ghana also has an active economy, with Ghanaian entrepreneurs introducing innovative business ideas.
The Gambia offers a slower life which is appealing to many so make your decisions based on what you are seeking.

Gambia has something that no other African country has. It is in the same position as Singapore a few decades ago. Singapore has no resources only human resources. So the then President said the only thing he can do is Education and discipline. In a nutshell human resource development. Today they are one of the wealthy economy in the world.
Gambia's resources are tourism and human. Therefore there are no gold or oil to fight for or for anyone to destabilize Gambia for. So step forward little mighty Gambia.

Take it from me as a Gambian who lived and studied in Ghana. If given the choice I will choose Ghana over Gambia ( my own country).
In Ghana you don't have to live in Accra region which is an expensive area. The country is near 20 times bigger than Gambia and most of Ghana is as affordable as Gambia.
Ghana has more educated population, better infrastructure, social life, varying landscape and more variety of food.
You will find a lot more things to do in Ghana and have a big country to explore With lots more business opportunities due to a much larger economy.
If it is not family ties I would move to Ghana when am ready to return to Africa permanently .
    Beautiful country and beautiful people.
The best option is to visit both countries and decide for yourself.

The advantage of The Gambia 🇬🇲 is that is very small and it’s borders with Senegal isn’t that massive and that gives you an easy access to Mauritania 🇲🇷, Mali 🇲🇱, Guinea 🇬🇳, Guinea Conakry and It’s a one day ride to all this countries. And the river is just amazing and no fishing boats 🚣‍♀️ allowed to fished 🐠 there, only the locals are allowed. And plus is a very flat land, no mountains 🏔 and there’s a lots of water 💦, meaning you can easily plant whatever you want to plant and it will grow healthy. So The Gambia 🇬🇲 is the country for me comparing to Ghana 🇬🇭 which is also beautiful, I’m speaking out of experience of traveling around Africa.

The basic economic laws of Supply and Demand are at play here vis-a-vis the cost of living in Accra vs Banjul. The high demand for accommodation in Accra has driven prices to where they are atm. Even when it comes to Accra, different residential areas come with a different/varying price tag.
Personally, I would advice anyone interested in relocating to Ghana to look outside the capital city of Accra. Other places within the Greater Accra region including Tema and Kasoa would be more affordable. Several great, clean and serene cities and towns such as Kumasi, Koforidua, Takoradi, Ho, Ada Foah(clean beautiful sandy beaches), Tamale, Cape Coast, Akosombo, Aburi, Mampong(with it's cool weather due to high elevation) etc are all places to consider.

Nana Ofori I was thinking the same thing. RUclips has made Gambia seem very appealing. If more people from smaller Ghana cities showed us their home more people would pick Ghana. Disney land is coming to Ghana also Africa’s largest hotel is bring developed. I hate to think that’s going to drive up the price in Ghana even more. People moving are trying to leave the rat race not enter a new one. The houses in the cities are as expensive or even more than the USA. That’s not going to appeal the average diaspora. So price is what’s making people choose Gambia for now. While the land is still cheap. If everyone chooses Gambia though it’s going to be Accra soon. There’s an obvious market for more African RUclipsrs that’s living there to show off more than just Gambia or Ghana.

the thoughts beliefs and opinions have value. Dry stats often men nothing. Westerners go by dry stats way too much.
Also Ask him first if he's experienced Gambia or Nigeria?
