in Ghana when they are upgrading or servicing, they will turn the power off but 90% announce it on the radio but it doesn't get to many people especially if you don't listen to Gh radio stations
Wow, Sis. I think you should try this talk about new place. It is a newly opened restaurant call JERK SOUL by an AA who just moved from Chicago to Ghana last year and opened the place. A lots of AAs and other diasporans converging there for networking, meeting and making friends and have a good time. And the view OMG. The owner has a youtube channel call (Judas Exodus). His latest video was 3 days ago. Just look for WELCOME TO JERK SOUL GHANA on youtube. You will meet alot of AAs, esp. women. The restaurant is located at OYARIFA CENTER. Good luck.
It will rather be of more good to bond with the locals 🎉 get yourself aquinted with the culture by attending their events, eat all the local foods that your ancestors eat before slavery...
@@myztroogeegibson3568 Yes, you can also do that, but is better to meet some AAs who can advice you as to how things are. and also make friends, but it is your choice.
Assalamualaikum sister yes I visit both places and you're right about everything really however about the Tipping I noticed some of our people they take advantage of it instead of coming over there to help their brothers and sisters in a crisis as you mentioned about the hair being done we pay so much in America what's a big deal giving somebody a $20 tip you know what I'm saying it's really pathetic that I see our people take advantage of them they are ready I kept down from the colonizers and then we come over here well not me but others come over there and just take advantage sad
Mualaikumsalam Sister. It is unfortunate but expected with a certain mentality of scarcity. I am hopeful that we do what we can to support one another.
@@lovesyreka absolutely I'm in for the cause I'm in for trying to make changes I love my people and we need to start rising up and developing and using our skills instead of always depending on someone else to do stuff for us
Thanks for the review. You are talking about LA money! Let' talk Southern money. Your money definitely will not stretch. We are talking people being paid 10 to 15.00 an hour. You would need to live out of the city. I would love Ghana if I were younger. I'm retired and prefer the slower pace of The Gambia. I will definitely visit. I heard it is lovely. Did you need to be vaxxed in Ghana? Thanks for the video!
Thanks for your support! To answer your question Ghana requires a yellow fever and C19 vxx. Accra is pretty busy but there are slower places in Ghana that I have yet to explore. The Gambia could be an option. African people in both countries have a steady flow when outside. Congrats on retirement! It's the perfect time for you!
