Totally agree on the toy story house skin, the devs have been making some really weird detail decisions lately. Like, it's hard to believe it's just an oversight since most of the barn can go on paths, just not the part that looks like it belongs on a path, that's gotta be a choice. Similarly, I really wish they'd chosen to make the Lion Dance costume 2 pieces (head and body) instead of one; I'd love to be able to wear the body suit part without the giant head (which is awesome and beautifully detailed, but it's also a very specific vibe that I just know I'm not gonna want on my avatar most of the time). @cricket_echo It's most definitely a choice. The oversight mentioned is the developers' lack of response and/or acknowledgment of this issue as it has become more prevalent. Additionally, I believe the reason the parking lot can't go on path is simply because they used "path" texture to create it and path textures can't stack in the game. They could have created a similar texture from scratch but instead chose to reuse existing assets.

I'm very disappointed personally, Star Adventure by far is the biggest letdown, I thankfully was in a frugal mood this week, only picking the wings and the costume, but I felt so disappointed about the lighting issues in Star Adventure.
Yeah, I feel like this HAD to be a coding mistake, right? To be sure, it's not intentional! It just doesn't make ANY sense! Why even render the light bulbs on the sign if they're not supposed to work. Hoping it gets fixed... at least it was cheap... but still, no excuse.
@@Probably_Senpai I just checked the thumbnail for the item (not the 3d shop model) and even went to the leaks category and checked the model that was showcased on the leaks. Turns out it is a bug, the thumbnail shows the sign having its lighting package active, IDK why it doesn't happen in game.

I'm a sucker for good storytelling, so I was so happy to see a DLV story made that showcased a sort of daily life within the Valley outside of the Forgetting.
Honestly, the easiest fix for this is if Gameloft would just make it so any houses can go on paths. They need to realize that some of their decisions limit us A LOT more than they think. Like seriously, why would they give us the option to make touch of magic doors WHEN THEY AREN''T EVEN FUNCTIONAL?!! *Make it make sense Gameloft*
I bought the barn and using it as a barn / general store. Not enough moonstones to buy only the barn saving for next week. My dreamsnaps is not doing well for the second week not getting 4k anymore so just have to wait to buy any premium shop items.

You could maybe put a fence around the house in the area the green exposure comes up and then add the parking lot right next to it? That might hide the green even more. Just a thought.
@@jenngingerich6 Hang out with them and bring them to the biome where you'll be taking your photo. When you leave the biome to grab another villager, seal off the biome with fences so they can't leave. Repeat the process until all the villagers are in the same biome.

I would also like to once again say thank you, because of what I learned from you about the tag system, I was able to keep my 4k streak going... I can say I'm really happy there was less in the premium shop this week because I haven't been able keep up with the pace of the new premium shop for a while now lol. Of what I was about to get from the shop this week, I really do love the dragon costume and it was actually a bit cheaper than I was expecting, so that was a very pleasant surprise.
They are always making weird choices with buildings. Like why can't we walk up any of the stairs or walk on patios or anything either? It just seems a bit low effort on their part.
I think ill just get the fireworks, since I didn't get them when they first came out. The Star Adventure would be cute in a carnival, but I think I'll skip it.

STAR Adventurer i believe is broken, i know the belle house the water in the well is fixed the water looks better now. so i say the STAR Adventurer may get fixed at some point.
The stra adventure was by far most disappointing and im not sure why dbo was an option considering its broken. i think the barn is gonna work well with my wizard of Oz build, it'll also work in alot of farm builds, cottage core builds etc. the asian themed houses are gorg but im not sure what to do with them. I wanted the temple til i saw it up close and had no idea where to put it unless i buy the ones coming as well😭 anywho great video, alot of stuff is broken this week and thats concerning 😂

Yes! They're always leaked day one of the update. When DDLV updates they add all of the premium items to the game with the update... even the items that haven't hit the shop yet. Data miners always pick apart the code on day one of the update and we get to see all the shop items. There are plenty of videos on the leaks! That said, let me know if you use Discord. I can send you an invite to the Dreamlight Leaks Discord server! That's where I always check day one of an update!

I thought I was going crazy and wasn’t looking in the right place but when I looked it up I found there aren’t codes on Mac :( luckily my husband has the game on his switch so I can login and put them in there but it’s slightly inconvenient.

I am not interested in Al's Toy Barn either. The scale really throws me off! You'd hit your head going inside. Your character is a giant compared to the store! Those doors are automatic doors in the film! Also, the vibe doesn't really fit with the Valley or the Ilse.

I was so incredibly happy to see the lion costume this week as it's one of the leaks I've been waiting for!!! Now, all I need as far as what I was aiming for are the Ping Armor Costume and those Magnolia walls. Anything that I pick up along the way (like Buzz's stealth dreamstyle I never got until now) will just be a nice bonus. And honestly, the Al's toy barn is just far too cheesy for my taste; it definitely doesn't fit the vibe of my Valley, so it's a hard pass for me as well.

As far as I know, everyone, and I'm pretty sure the companion symbol was grayed out when you were wearing it too. Such a shame because it's so cool.

Any tips on getting a bunch of characters in one picture? I can usually only get one, maybe two

Lady Tremaine’s house is the same, scale wise. The player is the size of basically the first storey of the house.
