    • @thalastianjorus
      @thalastianjorus Год назад

      No. It does not. It is talked about so little that it is often forgotten that, beside the Kemet people (white skinned Persians - much like the Iranians today) that most people relate to Egypt, and of course Ancient Egypt. Such as the actor Rami Malek - who humorously had a woman ask why a "white guy" was playing the Pharoah in Night at the Museum. People have all but entirely forgotten, or have merely never even heard about, the Nubian Pharoahs.
      They were from Upper Egypt, what we'd call Southern now, at a time when Upper Egypt was? Sub-Saharan. I.E. they were black. The Nubian people were incredibly wealthy, powerful, and rivaled the Egyptians to the point that they had a number of Pharonic Dynasties themselves. They were equals in the society, and before that they were seen as rivals and equals to the Kemet as Egypt rose.
      Much of history is lost merely by dint of omission.

    Mesopotamia: “Am I a joke to you?”

    • @Marwan-tx5nb
      @Marwan-tx5nb 5 лет назад +7

      Mesopotamia was not a country, it was a series of strong cities. Egypt did not develop from nowhere. Dynastic Egypt started as a country in 3200 BC, but before that Egypt had many great civilised cities. King Scorpion - a predystatic king, has many seals in Canaan before the unification of Egypt.
      So comparing a region with a country is unfair for both.
      there are many many great civilisations, but Egypt for me takes the cake. no other civilisation built their monument to last for eternity like the Egyptians. It is like everybody did something at that time, but the Egyptians did everything much much more perfectly than the others.
      Egypt might be the only country in the world that existed as a country from ancient times until today.

If someone complimented me in London past 9pm and I'm fairly alone, I'm speeding tf away. Out of london, Ifeel a bit more at ease because there are generally less creeps about. Honestly depends on the area/ time/ place and the creep factor.
