🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation:
    00:00 🎶 Singing in Islam
    - Singing without music in Islam is allowed depending on the type of song.
    - If the song doesn't use musical instruments and the lyrics don't violate Islamic rules, it's permitted.
    - Songs that praise Allah or the Prophet are generally acceptable, as long as they don't contain words leading to shirk (associating partners with Allah) or violate Islamic teachings.

To simplify this: Saying beatboxing isn't haram because it's coming from a human mouth rather than an instrument is kinda like saying wine isn't haram because it's coming from grapes rather than pure ethyl alcohol.

I appreciate the sentiment but brother Thats actually not a valid example- intoxicating drinks are not haram based on the source but rather because the cause intoxication (becoming drunk) and the drink which a lot of causes drunkenness then even a little of it is Haram. As for the “qiyas” used by scholars for beatboxing it was an ijtihad that seems overreaching and i say that while holding these scholars in the highest of regards and respect. The term haram at best should not be used here maybe at most “not-encouraged” depending on use and context. I humbly say this but remember Allah said Haram is “bayyin” (ie: it been made very clearly evident) and to go this far in Qiyas alone demonstrates the issue is not bayyin. Furthermore drums are not even haram and continued to be used in weddings and by armies, so this fatwa i humbly would say needs a lot more details so that it does not get taken a general rule.

same as beatboxing, it's not haram based on the source but rather because it produces the same effect as if you're listening to actual music.

@@blank6460 That's a very kindergarten-level argument. I mean let's say I don't do it (even though I don't mean to), JUST for the sake of not going to hell.... I am still going to hell since I wasn't a Muslim.
My position regarding the existence of God is quite simple.. if someone asked me does God exist, I would simply say "I don't know." - and I think that is the most honest answer any intellectually unbiased person can give, because if I said he does, and then I received a follow-up question to prove it... the best I could do is conjure an argument that boils down to "Well, he exists because [Insert book here] says so", or I can invoke some arguments from ignorance like "This life and DNA is so complex, therefore it couldn't happen by chance, therefore God".
And those are both bad arguments to use, so I'd be defeated in such a debate.
That's why I go with the simplest, safest, and most honest answer - admitting that I don't possess the knowledge of God's existence.
If God does exist, I wish to believe that this deity is indeed extremely intelligent, infinitely wise, a very perfect and rational being. To me, these religions are a direct INSULT to his image, and not to mention the human errors within the scriptures which is why I classify all these religions as purely man-made, for both the benefits of society and the exploitation of it to justify some horrendous acts, and push personal agenda.
So, now I need to ask you:
Do you really believe your Allah is so *stupid* that if I stopped criticizing Islam he'd be like "Ah, yes you stopped so you're going to heaven.. my infinite intellect totally didn't see that you were only doing it to avoid hell"
Like, really.. do you seriously think so lowly of your God? I also pose this question to anyone daring to invoke the Pascal's wager.

As for vocals giving the same feeling, from my own experience and what I've seen, vocals, beatboxing, using your own body, does not get people as hyped nor give the same feeling as a musical instrument would. @Datu Raheem. Yes but only if the sounds coming from the mouth, imitate musical instruments. From my understanding, beat boxing that sounds like "do,Do, do Doo", fast or slow, is okay. Since there's no instrument that sounds like that.
I'm not ganna say it's Halal, since I didn't speak to any scholars yet. But from this video, my understanding is "don't Imitate the sounds of instruments", and "do, DO, do" doesn't sound like an instrument. Allah knows best. 🙏
