local islander here. i found that bass like dark colors. if im dead sticking ill use a #7 circle hook with a fresh salted clam and a rock crab attached to it. the regs here is 28.5-35 in. only had 2 keepers this year out of the 52 i caught. i mostly fish the buck tails that i make. 80%o the fish i caught wre on moving bucktails in fast moving water. i like to tie a can of tuna to my waist for chum if im wading. stand still and dont cast a shadow.
