Thank you very much for making this video. As a person who is blind and uses a guide dog, emotional support animals are starting to become the bane of my existence at the moment. People get them, and seem to be under the impression that emotional support animals have the same rights and freedoms as service animals. I will be sharing this video Widely. All three types of services are so important, but knowing the difference and not abusing the system is so important in keeping service animals accessible to those that need them!

Current studies have found that dogs have cognitive and emotional capabilities similar to a 3-5 year old child. This means that dogs are capable of feelings like fear, joy, anxiety, and excitement but lack more complex emotions like malice. This is something that is still being actively studied!
