It was not the stealing that made it serious....it was the way it was "organized". It fell under Federal law because it was a criminal organization. The RICO act provides for extended criminal penalties. The RICO Act allows the leaders of a syndicate to be tried for the crimes they ordered others to do or assisted them in doing.

Shoplifters fight like CRAZY when apprehended. I’ve seen it MANY times. At a local Walmart bout 10 years ago a young guy boosted a pack of men’s white tshirts. Walmart was still back then chasing shoplifters. A man undercover store detective chased him through the parking lot. He turned, pulled out a gun and shot and killed the man. The shoplifter ran across the street and hid behind a bank. When he had a moment to consider what he’d done - he shot himself in the head and died. Plot twist.
Puffy still got the same amount of time in prison she would have gotten without snitching.
Fallen King more time. She snitched on herself too, all they had her on was a couple petty shoplifting at that point. They didn't have any proof of the big network she had.
And now when she gets out she's a marked woman. Should of just shut the fuck up did the time and be done with it.
Mike Smith hey man, it worked for Tim Allen... .
What? They had her on grand theft. All it takes in Florida is 300 bucks worth and that carries a 5 year sentence.
lol
Shoplifting is apparently a much more serious crime in Florida than human trafficking. 🤣🤣
volpe1970 I think that’s a big issue bruh
volpe1970 that’s why Florida the way it is 😵
That’s why he made the joke referencing
not really mate
Just because they are catching a shoplifter doesn’t mean they don’t have other people working on catching human traffickers
Switched on 16 people....good luck to her , when she'll get back on a streets, that will end up very sadly for her...🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
They claim that that's the largest organized retail crime occurring in Central Florida... That's laughable! This really just shows that they continually step on the little guy.
The little thief, you mean.
She snitched on the whole hood n still gotta sit in jail for 2 years 😭 cmon now puffy
*her face gonna be puffy after that asswhupping*
she probably had stolen over $500 which is a felony and was probably looking at 5-10 years she got off good tbh lol
@@jaylee1591 ouuh
Read up on the RICO laws. Laws passed by congress to combat organized crime and ongoing criminal enterprise. If the gov can tag one with a rico charge a potential life sentence.
😂😂😂
This woman didn’t know stealing is a serious crime? Yeah right.
Its not serious. Its department store items not a car or baby!
Taylor Bray It doesn’t matter what it is, stealing is stealing. I suppose you wouldn’t have a problem if she walked into your house and started looting your stuff like cloths and food and whatever.
Michael Jorgensen Not arguing that. Just making the point that stealing is serious. Way too many people have a casual attitude that is you take something that isn’t yours but it may not cost much it’s ok or no big deal. Well it isn’t ok and it is a big deal to the one offended.
They wasting tax payers money on busting petty thieves, they need to leave that to Security Cops, while they go into downtown and bust those Ignoramus driving like a "BAT OUT OF HELL!!"and shooting at each other.... now that's real Cop Work!! Catch them and charge them, you'll probably get more than 2years for that crime!!!
FYI, Salvation Army thrift store 1/2 block away sells T-shirts’ in all colors of the rainbow for 50 cents each.

I've heard of other people who start wars in a certain continent that's rich in natural resources so that they can take away their minerals for free (steal)... but I digress.
How about the people that fake social security those are the other (these people)

She's really out here making my life more difficult. I've stopped taking my purse into stores so people wouldn't think I'm stealing, but this video explains why people still watch me and follow me. She doesn't even need a purse to steal they probably think I'm doing what she's doing, and I'm just trying to pay whatever I have to pay and get back home.😩

I wish they were this adamant about human trafficking
I think that's much deeper and harder to track. No way in comparison to shoplifting.
They are? That’s all my dad & his team does
care to elaborate on that?
Miracle McDaniel they are
Dang.

im glad that they are wasting all these resources on petty theft rather than finding a murder or a missing child
How embarrassing that they’re wasting time tracking her movements while dangerous crime actually take place
Should let thieves run rampant I guess. 🤪 Crazy how every cop ever is involved in this.
Oh wait…
Is she kidding?!?! She didn’t think stealing thousands of dollars worth of goods wasn’t a REAL CRIME!
she didn't do muffin ...she did do cake !
It's not that she thought it wasn't a real crime, she knew it was a crime but she thought she was only guilty of theft/shoplifting, she didn't consider she was a major crime boss almost at the level where the FBI get involved. That was her "Oh shit" realization that made her rat out 16 "friends"
CherryBoo65 Boone yes of course she knew it was a crime, but she just thought of it as shoplifting and didn’t realise it’s an organised crime since there are other people involved

CherryBoo65 Boone and traveling 190 miles to do it
She and all 15 people she snitched on all have similar prison sentences. They will all get out at the same time. I hope she skips town when she gets out.
D. Lewis right bc the camera was all in her face
She better
Some of those people she snitched out were just desperate people the y knew would do it
Puffy would sell the clothes and buy fatty foods with the profits 🤓
Not really. She became an informant and no one will know for sure she snitched because she is protected. On top of that she got a similar sentence like all of them.
People so lazy that the concept of working is too grim to even think about. She was obviously well fed.

Knowingly selling stolen merchandise in a legit store is a very serious crime that carries greater penalties than common theft.
What the guy was doing is money laundering which in a way makes more crime and creates more people like puffy, taking him out makes those like puffys not able to get around it the money laundering so easy.
This gave me the biggest smile and chuckle!

Puffy went from the biggest shoplifter, to the biggest snitch
She's the biggest anything.
Joey Miller like all criminals.
Well she'll get lighter sentencing, they're no more innocent than her, just weren't smart enough or too scared to run it themselves. But they had no problems stealing money.
Anyone knows if Puffy is still alive?

Interesting that the guy got three years and Puffy (who was the main cog of the operation) got two. Different justice systems for men and women.
Edit: just realized her sentence was probably lighter due to her full cooperation with the police, which makes sense. But she should of gotten five simply for having a stupid nickname.
Plus 10 years probation! Probation is set up to make people fail and when they fail, they go right back to jail! Being on paper is no joke!
