My Gardenview room had a great ocean view. I was in building 4. Also, I went each time on a girls trip and we had a great time. The resort had lots of day activities and night. Great parties and shows. The rooms are definitely set for couples with single beds. But we met lots of other singles and had a time
adding my little two cents! my boyfriend and I (early thirties and my family is actually from Jamaica) went here in 2021 and would only return if we could secure a room higher in level than the private plunge pool suites. there was a sewage problem everyone seem to be in denial of when we were there, the sheets and towels were stained so I had to get them changed upon arrival. the furniture is in serious need of updating (this was covered in your video so interesting to know it wasn't an isolated thing). the best things - super quiet adults only and the guests are all just looking to chill and relax, the arrival champagne was a nice touch, the gelato and all of the food was amazing (our fave was the jamaican restaurant, the steak house is a close 2nd, the jerk chicken although good wasn't amazing or true to the authentic version imo which was strange) things I'd change - trying a different kind of room (if possible to receive one not showing its age), the entertainment was lackluster and we honestly found ourselves bored each night after dinner, the tv channels are severely lacking so we ended up watching netflix on our phones. could definitely use an option or two per week/weekend for a chance to party. - Also Club MoBay was a NECESSITY. Very thankful I added that on for our travels.
I agree 100%. This place was a 3 star hotel at best. Then they charge so much for it! Not luxurious at all! Truly disappointing experience for us cos it was our one year anniversary.
I love how thorough your review is. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Great and detailed review. I can’t wait to return to Jamaica 🇯🇲
Thanks for watching!
i was here in 2021 and i had a great time and this resort was all that
Club Mobay is so good. The departing lounge is amazing when you are departing
Someone else fell thru the floor at this same resort. She probably signed NDA or lawsuit form. I don’t sign ANYTHING especially not on a foreign country that’s not from Delta airlines. RIU Montego Bay had my friends sign papers after issues with their room.
Smh. Thank you for sharing!
You didn’t do the excellence club right just the regular junior? Also I know two of the pools are exclusive to EC guests, is the infinity pool available to general guests?
Beach house right on the beach
I just want to know if the roof top pool is accessible for all guest or do you have to be apart of excellence club
It’s accessible to all guests! Watch us all jump in & enjoy it in Jamaica Vlog Pt 2 💗
Actually I just listened and heard you didn’t have EC sorry😭 was the spa included or a price? I heard you say spa pass?
From my understanding you get some sort of spa treatment that is included when you do EC!
Would this be good for solo travellers?
I would say so!
@@TheShortSide Okay I am going to take the plunge & book🥹. Missed out on a private pool room but I’ll just have to gt a lounger by the main pools lol. If you have any extra tips pls let me know as this will be my first solo trip. Tyyy xxxx
Do they have a WHITE NIGHT?
There was an all white silent headphone party!
i dont think they are racist like that in Jamaica. Lol 😊
She should not sign anything. Get a jamaican lawyer. She should have been compensated.
I am not signing any papers for nothing.
She should have sued them.
Even for those of us who have Jamaican parents or were born in jamaica, the airports are always a mess. Jamaica is all about capitalism but unfortunately the black people on the island (the majority) don't benefit from it
So american, complaining about another country routine, same thing happens at JFK or NEWARK
