Reading the comments I feel we need to appreciate more what Pravus has accomplished here. It's beyond impressive, unlike anything I have seen get done in DCS. This is something I could only think of in my fantasies and now somebody has actually coded it. The coding itself is beyond belief as well I would be so interested to listen to him a lot more...like 10-12 hours more. Mega job!
I absolutely suck at this game and its overwhelming but I think that this is honestly the coolest thing I have seen in a video game. Also keep up all the great content man!

He is. It’s been nearly two years of work, countless hours of him coding - many of us flying, testing, him adjusting and we repeat process. Started on the Caucasus map and moved to the Syria map upon release. Pravus is one of the coolest, smartest and most passionate people I’ve met. Top class guy right there.
You definitely needed a wingman to help you out with this missing, that was a shit load of work for just one fighter to take care of. Great video though.

This looks absolutely exceptional work. This is what I’ve been wanting to see for years in DCS. As GS said, when you create a scenario there’s no surprises. This will take me back to my Falcon 4.0 days where the AI actually surprised you with guys running with silent radars, pop up groups that were genuinely unexpected etc. Can’t wait to fly on this.
I hope they see this, it would make for some awesome content seeing all those top tier players all working together instead of against each other. It would add a dynamic element missing from the channel. I would be challenging from a video editing perspective but let’s take it up a few notches and make it happen!

Shit, this is becoming what I expected from the never coming Falcon 5! I'm so glad someone is taking care of this level of realism. It lacked in every single military flight simulator (except the Falcon series - and this goes even a bit further). I wonder if someday we'll have infantry playing as FPS and commanding vehicles like in a Battlefield series, except utterly realistic.
The closest thing to that is Arma and it somehow manages to look and run worse than DCS while also not being nearly accurate enough of a simulator. I am very excited for Arma 4 though. If the performance is better and it has all the features Arma 3 has it’ll be an amazing game for sure.
This is absolutely amazing, so much props to this man who contributed so much to our community, dynamic campaign is something we've been waiting for years and years. On a sidenote though, GS, looks like your F-15C BVR skills are a bit rusty ;)

The amount of work you did against opfor as a solo escort was incredible. If you had a wingman that could have succeeded. With one escort the fact that the 52 even made it back alive is impressive asf. But the work on building this mission is INSANE. Mad props to ya boi for the time and effort that went into this.

My dad was an f16 pilot and he said the majority of his missions were bomber escorting. He flew desert storm and he also flew shock and awe. During shock and awe he flew in formation protecting the destroyer in the gulf not really doing much of anything. But in desert storm he only got into one “situation” that was quickly resolved is all he would say. I doubt it was a dogfight. But he said he’s flown escort with the b2 a couple times and the b52 quite a lot
That awesome! Now add in the new flyable c-130 mod, and get a flyable c-17 modded up. and of course, just for fun, gotta have the fast movers, SR-71, Aurora, etc.
I've been looking at DCS for a looong time, set up my office chair to accept my HOTAS, I have a Pimax and a PC that can handle it now, the biggest hurdle for me was the daunting idea of finding a place to play after learning, I think this solves that.

Good evening from Greece. Very nice video. In 6:07, you said that you think that the jf was shot down, by the Naval assets. That is precisely why, in real life operations we use link. If you want to have a realistic campaign, then you must incorporate dcs players, to operate battlestations in Naval platforms and air bases. That way you can have Fantastic mission. It will take you guys a lot of time to do that ,but trust me when I'm telling you it is worth the effort.. That being said I am enjoying your videos very much.👍
This was the Arma 3 problem for many years, i'm glad to see DCS aiming for dynamic campaign, it really saved Arma3 community the Dynamic mission generators
A good PvE campaign it's what makes me want to play, i've very good memories of the DID's EF2000 and it's mainly because the campaign; i'm a team player, as ex Royal spanish Marine Infantry... i like to work with my squad for our team, spanish Armada.
You should check out Alpenwolf's Cold War server then! Combined Arms players are online most of the time moving units around making it way tougher than anywhere in multiplayer for strikers. Alpenwolf is incredibly creative when it comes to that. Just try it.
We will work on adding a few more scenarios that occur (there an many different ones), to aid GS in not having to work so hard - but his videos will make any of ours look like a kindergarten project. But seriously, there are so many different tasks/features available it’s amazing.
It is awesome, I mean what he developed is what we all look for in a game, any game and most of all in a simulation. Endless interaction. Free will. AI "is" amazing. She learns from us, and we learn from her. Now could this be the first step towards Judgement Day? We, against her. Don't worry. It's just a joke, or is it?

Pravus is definitely from the North West of England; more like Lancashire or perhaps Warrington or St. Helens.

Yeah now that's a good combat simulation. Even the amount of missiles at the base can impact your missions

A good PvE campaign it's what makes me want to play, i've very good memories of the DID's EF2000 and it's mainly because the campaign; i'm a team player, as ex Royal spanish Marine Infantry... i like to work with my squad for our team, spanish Armada.

You should check out Alpenwolf's Cold War server then! Combined Arms players are online most of the time moving units around making it way tougher than anywhere in multiplayer for strikers. Alpenwolf is incredibly creative when it comes to that.

We will work on adding a few more scenarios that occur (there an many different ones), to aid GS in not having to work so hard - but his videos will make any of ours look like a kindergarten project. But seriously, there are so many different tasks/features available it’s amazing.

It is awesome, I mean what he developed is what we all look for in a game, any game and most of all in a simulation. Endless interaction. Free will. AI "is" amazing. She learns from us, and we learn from her.
