It was a solid mouse (and still is, the original one has a very poor braided cable though), I loved using it, but once I started using a lighter mouse I just couldn't go back, even stopped using my Master 2s cause of the weight

@Mingfei Wang you can order the stronger switch to replace you favorite shape mouse and replace it. Mine replace g602, g402 switch from 20mil to omron 50mil and work out just fine ever since.
I have a g502 and a Basilisk Ultimate. I love the feel of the Basilisk a lot more and it’s definitely using higher quality material. I wouldn’t have gotten the basilisk if it wasn’t for the the g502. I just loved the shape so much but I wanted a bit of an upgrade with the same shape.

Dave, you forgot one thing, there is a big group of MX510/518/G5/G400s ergonomy users who never going to give up such beautiful handling. No mouse you had reviewed had such ergonomy.
Think he meant as a concept having a fan cooling your hand while gaming is a great idea. But in practice it's a bad idea because of the sounds and vibrations that come with having a fan inside a mouse. So in theory it is, but realistically it's not.
A fan in a mouse is a terrible idea, because depending on which way it is rotating, it will preferentially move one way over the other. I forget what that force is called, but it's like that classic physics demonstration where the physics teacher will be holding a rotating bicycle wheel while spinning on a chair or something.
The shape is significanlty better than the G502 in one respect; the buttons are wider for larger hands. I couldn't stand the 502 due to my middle finger constantly resting up against the side of the mouse, half on the button, half off.
I swapped over to the g502 after using ambidextrous mice for years. Simply a better choice for me as i'm working more that playing games and frankly it feels better in gaming too imo.

I have the same mouse as him (Logitech MX Master 3) and I love it, but I just can't use it for gaming so I have a separate mouse for gaming. Since this is a gaming tier list he prefers lighter and more smaller mice instead of those comfortable big and heavy mice.

Unfortunately, I don’t wanna spend money on a second mouse rn, so I just use my steelseries rival 110 for everything. If I was Dave I’d definitely be rocking at least two different types of mice.

I don’t think the micro USB on the super light was with bad intent. I think they did it because every other Logitech G product used the same micro USB dongle with the custom “arms” to make it fit securely in place.
I got the g203 and I love it!! Its the consistent, minimal, clean mouse that I've always wanted. I know logitech always has great build quality and solid sensors, and it doesnt disappoint!

@@raiyannaushad hmmm ngl its hard to choose both of them they are great imo. I owned viper mini and g305 both have different shape and length. Its also depends the way you hold your mice, do you hold claw or palm position. If claw you should go for viper because the hump is much smaller comparing to g203 if palm go for g203 for the slightly higher hump. I actually find my g305 better when resting though i use claw position, this is entirely your preference at this point. Budget wise go g203 if you got extra cash go for viper mini for better skates and sensors. You want more idea go rocket jump ninja channel he explained it very well.
He is using the Viper UItimate as his current gaming mouse now, last time was that Pwnage Ultra Custom. Yes, I watched all of his videos that is why I still remember him mentioning that.
Edit: 4:59 I bought the Basilisk, It’s pretty good. I already had other Razer stuff so it works with software I already have. Edit2: the Basilisk’s wheel has broken. It often scrolls opposite to the direction you spin it. RIP. Looking for a replacement now. 5:58 Pirates unite! He just does NOT give a F and will deliver what's on the table. If be ever made any bias, it'll probably be either design or color (which is entirely personal). Everything else is on point and that's why Dave is the only Tech RUclipsr that I still watch frequently. And I used to watch like, 10 othed tech RUclipsrs.

I mean, the g502 took copying to another level, like its the exact same except for the buttons, and I am glad he pointed it out. Do you expect him to call out literally every modern mouse out for "copying" another mouse?
the shape of the g502 was a signature shape made by logitech. The shape that was used in glorious mices are the most common shapes used by manufacturers to create their own mice and it is the most comfortable.
I could be wrong but I thought I heard that they used a Micro-USB instead of a USB Type C because the Micro USB was lighter than the Type C and this superlight version is focused on the weight :)

I've read everywhere that it isn't a very good gaming mouse, however I love it for my productivity works... 3D modeling, CAD, Image/video editing and regular office stuff. I will try using it for gaming to see what's the deal, but most of my PC games are slow pace horror, walking sims, etc so I don't think it matter for those.
Really fun to watch. Haven't tried most of these mouses but I've always had a Razer Deathadder and I've always loved it. Such a solid mouse. I still have one brand new in case the one I'm using breakes. Love it.
I think the copying complaint is interesting given the presence of the model o along with literally tons of other gaming mice - all with the same shape xD
yeah that's what I was thinking with the basilisk. Sure razer copied but so did every other mouse maker. the model o is almost the exact same shape as the viper as well, and everyone makes zowie clones.
zowie isnt updating their shit because they're team who made them broke off and are making their own mouse so it's good that glorious added some better cables and feet also all the wired mice are really good for MC players
The difference is that glorious improves upon those shapes by making them lighter, better sensors, whatnot while Razer just ripped it straight off with no benefits.

@@raiyannaushad hmmm ngl its hard to choose both of them they are great imo. I owned viper mini and g305 both have different shape and length. Its also depends the way you hold your mice, do you hold claw or palm position. If claw you should go for viper because the hump is much smaller comparing to g203 if palm go for g203 for the slightly higher hump. I actually find my g305 better when resting though i use claw position, this is entirely your preference at this point. Budget wise go g203 if you got extra cash go for viper mini for better skates and sensors. You want more idea go rocket jump ninja channel he explained it very well.

Edit2: the Basilisk’s wheel has broken. It often scrolls opposite to the direction you spin it. RIP. Looking for a replacement now.

He just does NOT give a F and will deliver what's on the table. If be ever made any bias, it'll probably be either design or color (which is entirely personal). Everything else is on point and that's why Dave is the only Tech RUclipsr that I still watch frequently. And I used to watch like, 10 othed tech RUclipsrs.

The only reason they don't send products out for review is if they're scared of negative reviews. These companies are notorious for telling "reviewers" what to say about their product. @@eoag3720 403, 603, 703 all have the typical deathadder shape. Rest are pretty distinctive. Logitech tends to trend set more than follow, I'll give them that (tho good looking is another thing).
I think most of the industry's designs are just variations of the deathadder, 903, 502, sensei

I think it's for the best though. Shape is king, and cloning a specific shape that is successful and basically upgrading it? that's a win in my book.
@@plumokin5535 idk, all the mice he put at the top are fairly basic, I don't quite understand why people are saying copy this copy that. I mean, the g502 took copying to another level, like its the exact same except for the buttons, and I am glad he pointed it out. The others shouldn't be mentioned in my opinion, as you can only do so much to change a mouse to still make it good, and popular. Its a bit unfair to say he missed on this one. Do you expect him to call out literally every modern mouse out for "copying" another mouse?

It might have the Zowie design, but they improved on it enough that it has its own identity now
the shape of the g502 was a signature shape made by logitech. The shape that was used in glorious mices are the most common shapes used by manufacturers to create their own mice and it is the most comfortable.

I've read everywhere that it isn't a very good gaming mouse, however I love it for my productivity works... 3D modeling, CAD, Image/video editing and regular office stuff. I will try using it for gaming to see what's the deal, but most of my PC games are slow pace horror, walking sims, etc so I don't think it matter for those.

I think the copying complaint is interesting given the presence of the model o along with literally tons of other gaming mice - all with the same shape xD
But glorious also copy everyone, like model D is straight up zowie EC2/EC1. Model O is like FK series etc.

yeah that's what I was thinking with the basilisk. Sure razer copied but so did every other mouse maker. the model o is almost the exact same shape as the viper as well, and everyone makes zowie clones.
zowie isnt updating their shit because they're team who made them broke off and are making their own mouse so it's good that glorious added some better cables and feet also all the wired mice are really good for MC players
The difference is that glorious improves upon those shapes by making them lighter, better sensors, whatnot while Razer just ripped it straight off with no benefits.
