Sweet video! I am sure it warms your mom’s heart to have you plant flowers for her. Your parents have a gorgeous property! What a spectacular view. I can appreciate being a disaster survivor. In 2018 Hurricane Florence dumped 40 inches of rain on Wilmington, NC, where I live. Totally flooded my basement living level. We were able to get it cleaned out but no one to repair it for about18 months. Before we could get that damage fixed, almost one year later another hurricane with tornadoes wiped out all my backyard, totally mangling and uprooting all my big oaks and pine trees. Now my yard is HOT and sunny from May-late October. You just have to cope.

I ALSO drive north to my mom’s (about 3.5 hour drive,zone 7) around Mother’s Day/Memorial Day to plant her flower beds each year! Last year I learned and installed 1/4” drip lines in both of our yards & also have started using Espoma brand Plant Tone when planting and we do weekly SuperBloom to make our flowers live their best life! So much in common, so much enjoy watching you build your channel!
