When I moved from North West to Western Cape, I crossed that road and felt the difference. The first car I saw was a provincial bakkie looking for potholes! I sold my Northwest house for 50% less than what I paid for it. After just 2 years on the West Coast, my house sold for 30% above the original price.

I was shocked to see the roads of some of the townships in Cape Town on TV.
I was shocked to see people looting Durban dry on TV and some of them came from informal settlements which are the best run informal settlements in the country, apparently.
Guess what mate there's a country called Zimbabwe calling your name .
Me to, tarred roads in a township. Who would have thought it possible. Then to see TV reports showing swimming pools for potholes in GP and Limpopo.

Except it's actually true. Like all political parties, they have their downsides but they have actually followed through on a lot of their public service promises.
The ANC can't say the same. They've actively been plundering this country. Most of us weren't meant to run a country this large. We have tribal cultural values that seeped into the government. The Europeans brought an advanced civilization to our primitive tribes and then handed over power while we were not ready yet. Unless we get their expertise in running a country again, we are doomed to fail.

John I hope you see this, we know you guys do a lot of work behind the scenes. A lot of which most people don't even see or even hear of and we salute you for this. But as you know if there is no open conflict or something that our bloodthirsty media can sell, it won't matter to them. And unfortunately this is the playing field. Last week all the media WOULD report on was how the DA ran with their tails between their legs, publicly saying sorry for calling people who defended the rule of law HEROES. Yes I know there were those who were wrong. Alas from scores of people who believed in the DA as an "OPPOSITION" party, I could only hear whispers of defeat. You could also see comments on social media from ghost accounts piling on the story like a bunch of predators at a feeding frenzy. So what am I trying to say with all this? Consider this, If you in fact did the opposite, shouted "We wont apologize!!!" louder and louder over and over ignoring the reporters. You would have had the vultures of the media swoop in more and more. The more the merrier. Yes they accuse and yes they bait. But this is all good. Cause the air time that you would have received would have surpassed that of any party out there. Just imagine the crowd you could have drawn, and people would see, even those who don't believe that the DA does in fact stand for all. Cause after last weeks episode, who will believe in you now? Its not completely true. The streets in Pretoria are dirty. Municipal services are not as it should be. Our streets are dirty. Too many destitute people sleep on the street and urinate on the pavements around our building. Do you not have a plan yet to help these people. The DA is detatched from the people. How many soup kitchens have they established in 27 years? Do they have their own professionally trained neighbourhood watch? No, of course not. They are office bound. The DA's handling of the building at Root 44 in Stellenbosch is currently being investigated. There are also complaints about the DA in the Cape areas. The DA is willing to work in coalition with the EFF and the ANC. They do not know that truth and error cannot mix? And is the DA and EFF not part of the company of the government registered on the stock exchange in New York? Do not be fooled, the DA was the biggest party, but no longer. We need a people's party led by businessmen, not politicians. What variety of credentials and years of experience in business and life skills does Steenhuizen have to be able to lead SA to a better future? Can Steenhuizen even speak one ethnic language? It seems most people missed that the majority of whites voted to integrate and stop apartheid when they where asked in March, 1992. Those that did not want too left. Those leaving today are fearing their lives, because unlike any other race, i am not hearing whites calling for the mass killing of black people in SA, yet we have all political parties having a jol with this. If not enough, very often it is said toward coloured people, indian people and muslims... the shit seems to hit the fan when it affects the latter. None the less, if you are not part of a non-racial, non-partial plan, you are part of the problem. We are all human and 30 years on, we are all worse off than before. Perhaps in order to understand a truly non racial past and furture, we have to look at how many mixed couples there where pre 1994 and post 1994 and that all this racial division and rage & anger over the past is not changing anything going forward. While most will have us argue about something that took place hundreds of years ago, the current leaders are selling our resources to China...
