I remember seeing Liberace on his 50's TV show when I was just a very young boy. He was an inspiration for me to learn to play the piano as an older adult. It is nice to remember him just from this TV show. What a tremendous talent he was given!
Same for me. It was back in the early 50’s and my mother loved him too. I remember watching it as a 5 or 6 YO child on a small screen B&W TV. I was intrigued by the candelabra and thought they were lit candles. Sometimes you really do not appreciate things until they are gone. Thank goodness for these video memories of Lee and other great entertainers from that era.
My mother's first job out of high school in 1953 was at a country club, and she told me that when Liberace came on the TV that everyone in the country club would stop what they were doing to watch his show.
I didn't know Liberace had a popular show in the 50's. He was extremely handsome it's a wonder that he escaped Hollywood as a leading man for the movie industry. What a great talent, and a singer...Wow !
"I'll be down to get you in a taxi honey, better be ready 'bout a half past eight"....... good grief, I'm six years old again performing in a dance recital. That was one of my numbers. What a wonderful memory thanks to Liberace!
Nobody ever thinks about it much, but he actually was a very good singer too!♥️

I was a child when he was doing these shows. My mother LOVED him!! NOW I do!! Would have loved to hear him live! Maybe in the next life!
It must have been nice watching this in the evening. I think this is the Liberace, fans would want to remember the most.
Never heard Lee sing. What a rich baritone voice!
Quality television as this is long gone. I never realized before Liberace had a singing voice.
An elegant, handsome, charming man. I think I love him.
I played his show several times, but got to meet him at Disney in FL and sit with him awhile. Such a nice man.
Simpler times then. Where did it go :(
