He was so funny too - anyone else pick up on the line "its very easy to slip of, and play in the cracks" giving a wink at the camera. Wish I had known about him in 83, when he was here. Rest in peace.
I like him too I listen to him and watch him nearly all the time been a fan of his for 64 years now today's music is crap compared to him god bless u and keep u well.love olive from Epsom Surrey England x
One thing I've noticed in all these vids is that he is (constantly) smiling so much he can hardly talk. Truly an outstanding musician and pianist (an understatement), what he puts into it (his whole heart, constantly, and with the greatest of fun) is what earned him the title 'showman'. Most people are one or the other. For example, I find Victor Borge very entertaining and an enjoyable, talented musician, but Liberace is so captivating, you can't take your eyes off him. I think if (somehow) someone had said, "We can't pay you," he wouldn't have changed a thing. He clearly liked playing the piano and entertaining equally as much.
As a life long Lee fan, I am so enjoying your vids. Where the heck have you gotten this stuff from?!!? You are WONDERFUL. OMG. "Play in the cracks." Lee was always poking fun at others...and himself. And managed to slip it under the radar.
I think the skit would have been more impressive had the little girl 'lit into a firestorm' at the very end, after which Liberace would look directly into the camera and say, "See? I did a good job, didn't I?"
At :49 or so, Liberace must have been absentmindedly pressing the damper pedal while he was speaking because you can see the dampers come up off the strings and then fall back down onto the strings a few seconds later. LOL
@@Kat-ct4il "It's very easy to slip off and play in the cracks." Notice he winks a the camera right after he says that, lol. Even the little girl laughed.
Lee was a beautiful person of so many levels.
This man was like Michael Jackson, so much talent AND charisma! I feel badly about how his life ended. There will never be another Liberace!
RIP, Lee. You had been such a nice man.

He even looks down at it with a crack of a smile.
I enjoyed this. Don't know where or how you get your hands on this footage but it's fun.
Wielka szkoda, że ten uroczy i niezmiernie utalentowany pianista nie miał dzieci.

As far as I know this is a performer who wasn’t a pedophile. Prove me wrong though because I would not be surprised.
