When I was very little, I'd hear people make fun of Liberace and never understood why. Later, I understood but disagreed. Such beautiful and graceful talent.
In Las Vegas his house is a museum. Nice ranch style desert house in a middle class neighborhood not far from the Las Vegas Strip.

Before Elton John there was Liberace. He learned to play piano at the age of 4. He was born in USA. Regardless his sexual orientation, he was a child prodigy. He was once the highest - paid entertainer of the world. He had a flamboyant lifestyle on and off stage. He was super talented. CCC gave to all of us front raw seat for his show!

At the end of the second program here, Liberace welcomes to his Christmas program of 1954 his producer, brother George and Mom and, the whole rest of his family, including another brother and his family, I'd never even heard of! Unfortunately this one is not as clear as the first.
All of this material exists still on FILM, as far as I know. It would be so nice to view these as crystal-clear instead of visually compromised. But, that said, what we get is way-better than nothing!
