You just need to plug the cable from the microinverter into the apartment socket and that's it? You don't need to turn off any switches in the apartment (for example, the switch that is responsible for supplying electricity from the street to the apartment)?
Sorry if i sound thick. But is it adding electricity to my home via the 3 pin plug, or is it taking electric to top up the battery along with the solar panels. Im obviously new to this. 😊

Can the system work with an Ecoflow stand alone battery? Considering that stand alone battery is cheaper than the an Ecoflow powerstation it should be a way to save money ...
@@raincatchertec if power stream solar charging and delta 2 together be allot 1300w max . So delta2 is charging the battery max 500w and if you use bigger loads like 1800w coffee machine will be compensating 1300 it would make a big difference ? Do i think right?

Hello Raincatcher, please let me know where I can order the EcoFlow PowerStream and SmartPlug. And how exactly could the system work without the Smart Plug. I did not understand that.
@@raincatchertec Yeah thanks, I shouldn’t have bothered you and looked it all up for myself, I got overexcited and wanted all the info NOW! Lol. I just ordered everything, well worth the £479. I’ll have to find things to use to get through 800W, all my gaming and basic power needs are going to be free from now on. 👍🏻
I emailed ecoflow last week to ask if the PowerStream was legal for power into house wiring in the UK. The said no it is not. Which is why it is not on sale on their uk website. So why do uk youtubers promoting this device fail to mention this key fact?
You can feed anything up to 800w, which can be set up in the app. Say you set to 600w, it will feed in to your grid 600w, then anything above 600w the grid will supply.
@@colinherd No, you need to tell the system what is your base load and add smart plugs for additional information. No clamp to see the overall consumption. This is the achilles heel for this product.
I've got this setup, but my energy company is still showing that I'm using and paying for electricity, even though I'm covering the base load by the inventor. Any ideas why?
Not from here, but yes I figured it out. My energy supplier was misreporting the amount used and I didn't have the system setup correctly. I was prioritising power storage and not using powering the system, I also hadn't set the correct amount of AC power demand to satisfy the home devices I have. The ecoflow plugs help this as you know what is being used when, and the system powers these above sending the remaining to the home.
Thank you for getting back to me ! Its a pitty that the powerstream can't work on power outtage though right ? Would be so useful. Also let's say your house needs 900w and the system sends out 800w out, there is no way to know if the plug helps to get the "free" electricity to it, or if it coems from the grid right ? @@mkelsey
Hi, this and your follow up video's are really useful. Can I ask, do you need both Solar Strings set up for this to work, or will it work on one?. Thanks
I have lots of unused solar, so am considering a Ecoflow Delta2 Max ,and this so I do not have to plug washing machine, dishwasher etc in to the Delta. is that possible?
OK powerstream is here! How much was it please? Can you share this info? And I wonder which port it uses to connect to the battery? It seems like it uses extra battery port. Does this mean when Delta Pro has 2 extra battery ports I cannot use 2 extra delta pros with inverter?
I had no idea you could put power into a house hole plug ring. I would have thought this would trip the breakers.. So from what I've seen this uses the existing mains to energize the other plugs. And I'm guessing your actual smart meter won't think you are using any? Sorry for the dumb question, I've just never seen this approach before.
@@raincatchertec thks but in the back delta 2 PV connectors too? not only in the micro inverter, could i connect 800w to the microinverter and other 800 w to the delta 2 PV connector only to charge the battery faster

It takes energy from battery and solar to lower your consumption from the grid
Legal in the Uk is the big question ..? G98 doesn’t cover it ..

Great video 👍 can you do an update video one year on?
Can I use the power stream with solar panels only, no power station and just feed energy into the wall socket?
Yes you can
Can the system work with an Ecoflow stand alone battery? Considering that stand alone battery is cheaper than the an Ecoflow powerstation it should be a way to save money ...
yes you can use with just ecoflow extra battery
How does it know the household load?
you set it yourself on your personal needs - its a permanent stream.
Does it not defeat the purpose of the RCD protection on the circuit?
No
Can I plug the solar panel all so, to the delta 2 at the same time as the power stream connected to the battery ? That would happen?
Yes you can

whole house light circuit as well

Does that feed into the grid making it illegal?

Can two powerstreams work in the same grid household? Like if you have 2 delta pro with two powerstreams
Yes, you can run two powerstream together on the same grid
Looks like a neat system. Does it have a smart way of measuring the load from the house to try and match demand (up to the 600w max, of course)?
up to 800

If the system can work without the smart plug, what is smart plugs function?
Use can use a smart plug, so control it through the app. You also push power to it from powerstream
What was that massive screen you were using? Also, if you have two of these can this double your watt capacity?
