I thought to give you info, not sure if you know all ready but he it is onnthe 4 bins system in Mitchell shire. The first collection for the new service is scheduled to begin in the first week of March 2025. The delivery of the new glass and food organics & garden organics (FOGO) bins will commence in November this year. We will be providing more details on the specific delivery dates closer to the rollout.
@melbgarbofan Many councils have rolled out glass bins anywhere from 2-6 months before collection ls were to begin. Macdon ranges shire rolled out 4 months before collections And my council whittlesea rolled out 3 months before collections Mitchell shire been a larger area to cover been rural it makes sense to roll out earlier then wait till the last minute. This in a very big change for Mitchell shire as they never have had these two bin before so they want to make sure everyone has both bins before the collections start. And there will be property's missed and the will need to go back to some property's
Yeah council is going to post dates with suburbs and towns onbthete website soon to say when the bins will be delivered. Both glass and fogo will be delivered at the same day
