Salvation in Eastern Orthodoxy

Eastern Orthodoxy holds to a dynamic view of salvation: Salvation is not a "thing" you have or don't have. Salvation is the process of theosis: Becoming divinized by taking part in God's divine energies.
This is distinct from the sola fide (faith alone) of Protestantism. This is also distinct from the Roman Catholic view which tends to reject a dynamic soteriology.
