He's made leaps & bounds from that kid who didn't know his divisions, but in the end, he's someone you want to finish the game for you when your real starter goes down. A lesson Tennessee is going to learn soon when Derrick Henry can't carry the team anymore
Hated Philbin but the coach doesn't always cut all the players or notify them that they are being cut. Most teams do cuts like this where GM, Coach, other team executives tell the players. Multiple players were being cut at that moment and they were sending them in so they could speed up the process so they could get back to business.

Then this show kinda provided a little more context on the situation.

I know this has been stated many times already in each new upload but man, Joe Philbin is one of the most uninspiring head coaches I've ever seen. The Dolphins played exactly like his personality; bland and lethargic. Sad too because they really did have a pretty solid roster, but with a guy like that it's easy to put a whole locker room to sleep.

I honestly feel bad for the guys who got cut Philbin just didn’t play guys. I’ve watched lots of seasons of this show and he by far is the worst at giving reps. Everyone complained about reps and I feel it was mismanaged and the staff kind of screwed them over.
