Hi Cat. I just want to give you a thank you. I just received my Dakes Study Bible yesterday and cannot wait to dig into it with deep dive study. This exact video showing this Bible inspired my purchase. I had never heard of the Dakes until your video. I cant tell you how I love the study aids and lists in this Bible and he lists scripture to validate the listed items which i love. Thank you

Thank you so much I wish more people who live by this rather than following what they heard someone else say about a particular Bible allow people to guide you VS the Holy Spirit is never a good idea in my opinion. But I can only do so much the rest is up to them.
Thank you for sharing some of your favorite Bibles. I have many Bibles and love them all for different reasons. I absolutely love the Sword Bible too, it's very helpful to see at a glance the Words of God in the OT as well as in the NT. The Thompson Chain Reference Bible is also a favorite. As for a study Bible I prefer the personal size NKJV Full Color Edition Study Bible because it has everything I love in a Bible! The regular size version of it would be great if it was red letter but sadly it's black letter so hopefully my eyes continue to be able to read the small print in the personal size one.
Hello Cat you made an excellent point in saying to let God guide you in interpretation and not change your views based on study notes. I love study bibles because they're fun to read and hold my attention span better. My favorite is the David Jeremiah study bible and the Cultural Background Study Bible.

You are an inspiration for us ! You are so awesome! You take the time to post and explain bible's learned to have more than one translation . to help grow in the word. See how much God is using you to help others. This is what God wanted you to do somehow show how much one can have an abundant, joyful life with God. It shows that the ❤ you have makes one feel it's good to at least give it a try to learn , study his word the bible apply it to ones life learned one thing its ok to make the bible your own. High light write add what ever to help you grow that. Is what is so wonderful to open the bible and get 😁 excited to have one on one time with God. Bless you for doing this...

May I recommend the Matthew Henry Bible Commentary? It is also fantastic, only written long ago, and the way people used to believe, and I love it. I have some of these Bibles, Thompson Chain, plus the Women's Study Bible, etc. Sometimes I do not want to read what other people believe, but decide for myself. It can make you think, though, whether it's right or wrong, or off the beam. 😁
I love the niv study bible because of the amount of commentary in it and love 2 rebbons in the niv study bible and niv Large print life application study bible which is my next study bible
I used to be king james only until last year and ur right ! Looking at other translations keeps me curious and wanting to know more. It makes me feel like I'm in college again n I loved college.

The Life Application does come in the KJV. I have it & the NLT.
Esv study bible is my all time favorite bible 🤍 but also love my csb women's study bible!

I use the Girl's Life Application Study Bible. There are better Bibles for study but I'm in love with it.

I have an NIV Women of Faith Study Bible that I like, but my favorite is the Henry Morris KJV Apologetic Study Bible. I also like the Strong's Concordance to look up information.
Study bibles oftentimes include commentaries that may expound on what the scripture is saying based upon the author’s interpretation. It is simply a way to assist the person in there study time.
Thanks for a nice video. I too love the KJV Red Letter edition TCR Bible. NkJV Red letter Bible. Amplified Bible 1987 edition. Also I have Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance, Nelson’s New Illustrated Bible Dictionary. Zondervan Atlas of the Bible. I love that Atlas of the Bible nice maps and explanation as well.Matthew Henry Commentary in one volume.

You should check out the Billy Graham Training Center Bible. It's a really good Bible as well.
The Story of Redemption Bible ( ESV) is a very good Bible for beginners because it has very light and helpful commentary that is easy to understand

I highly recommend letting your friends & family know that you want one for Christmas. This is exactly what I do too. Many people Christians included think "What ask for a Bible for Christmas? Really why!?" That's heartbreaking to hear 😔😭

My family is a church worker and my family don't have any monthly income as were just really living by faith and rely on Jesus. We just received some blessings that some of the brethren give every week🥺❤️

Yes and the NKJV
The Lord made known to me that every story in the Bible is not to be taken literally but are in fact allegorical.. He also showed me that they aren't original but copies of much older myths (Noah is Gilgamesh, book of Esther is the story of Ishtar, Samson is identical to Hercules etc)
I believe it's the opposite. The myths are taken from the Bible.

@KarenLukens the lord? You mean that angry jealous narcissist yaweh? Isn't there something about knowing someone by their fruits? Some guy hands you a book about a "god" who has petty human emotions? Gets angry and jealous when he's not worshiped? The guy who is supposedly "all powerful" and could snap his fingers and make his enemies go away but instead he commands his people to "bash the babies against the rocks " of his enemies.. if "the lord" told you to go grab your neighbors 6 month old child and take him down to the river, take him by its little legs and swing him into the rocks as hard as you can... and like psalm 137:9 tells you.. be happy while you do it.,? That the guy you'retalking about,.. Karen that evil creature might be your lord but he isn't mine .....
