    One of my favorite books is 48 laws of power. I don’t actively use the information I’ve learned for my gain, I watch and take note when I see others that are doing it. It really lets you know who are the wolves among the sheep. The wolves come in all colors, shapes, genders, and skill.

    • @SSPspaz
      @SSPspaz 7 месяцев назад +2

      I must admit, I initially bristled at reading 48 Laws of Power (still haven’t, but it’s on my list) because I thought anyone writing this must be an absolute psychopath. Obviously, I objected to MANY of the laws.
      However, after seeing interviews like this and hearing Ryan Holliday (someone I have immense respect for) talk about Greene as a mentor, I realized that I might have jumped to some conclusions. I’d like to hear Greene discuss the morality of the laws of power and whether he objects to people who have used them irresponsibly.

    • @davidaldridge5716
      @davidaldridge5716 7 месяцев назад +1

      People always feel the need to say something like “I don’t actively use the information” lol and I say that because I get it…..same deal with The Prince by Machiavelli. I read that book once per year 3-4 years in a row a few years ago but never thought about how that might seem to someone else; especially someone I don’t know very well.
      Point being some people wonder wtf if you recommend certain books
      But in reality it’s just practical knowledge. If you’re in business or if you simply interact with human beings. It’s applicable info

I was working in the clubs during the time that song dropped and have been happy to see him sharing what he's learned. Makes me sad though watching what was a movement against crime and the streets transformed into what it is today. The origin in NY was meant to get kids out of street life and to have rap battles, free and safe space for graffiti and dance battles instead of street fights.

    Probably one of the few books (including Robert Greene's) that changed the way I view the world. So much so that I can not revert back to my old mindset, even if I wanted to and I know exactly how I used to think.

    The fact that 50 felt intimidated means he’s the right guy and that the book works. People will think the 48 laws of power can be used to gain power. But it can be used to either help you stand on business or used to gain awareness for you to out manipulate those manipulating you.
