    Ive got an aluminum frame Baby that only weighs 7 ounces! Its the smallest lightest semi auto Ive ever had. Its such a tiny gun its crazy how small and light it is feels like Im carrying one of those old dollar store plastic cap guns but it aint no cap gun for sure! Its smaller than my Seecamp and my P-32 and you dont get much smaller than that! Only thing smaller I have is the NAA min revolvers.

    I have a Bauer 25 and I love that gun. I worked in a gun shop and when my boss ordered some I had to have one. It's not my Beretta 9mm or my Glock 9mm but its a sweet little gun.

      They are fine little guns. Definitely not the Saturday Night Specials that people think they are. Thanks for watching!!

    I'm looking up other models that are similar, but I really wish I had a way to know how big they are when compared to the Baby Browning. There's the Baby Browning and the Bauer, the Colt model(s), the CG Haenel Schmeisser Vest Pocket, a couple FN models (which are also Brownings), the Fritz Mann models, the DUO, the Liliput models and several others. (It's amazing that these small guns were so crazy popular, but since then have almost completely stopped being produced. I really hope the trend kicks back up. We need more people to carry and having small, concealable, lightweight handguns is a good way to get new people to carry... and also to get people that carry to carry every single day).

      Check out my video on the Baby Browning as well. They are the exact same size as the Bauer, I love the small ones! Thanks for watching!

    Damn, I can't believe anyone would pay $150 or even $100 for the Raven Arms. I would have expected they'd be $50-$60 at most.

      I remember seeing them all over in pawn shops for $30 to $40 a pop easy, 20 years ago. Now a days, I RARELY see them in pawn shops and when I do they are usually $150 to $200. You can still catch deals on them on Gunbroker sometimes, but not often. Thanks for watching!

      @@HillbillyMusings Sorry, I actually meant to comment on another video I had more than one video/tab oped that I think were both your videos. Had to look something up, but got side tracked and commented on the wrong video. I don't recall which gun it was, but I think it was one of the cheap one's like Raven, Lorcin, Jiminez, Phoenix, Jennings or one of the cheaper 60's guns. I don't know why, but I thought the one I was commenting on was still in production, but I'm not sure about that.

    Guns like that make me think that the Beretta 21A Bobcat is just as beefy as the 92/96 series. The 21A is certainly very chunky in the grip, especially the Covert model with walnut grips.

    • @HillbillyMusings
      @HillbillyMusings  2 года назад

      You're correct, I do have a 21A as well and it's very thick feeling compared to some of these tiny guns. Thanks for watching!

    Being made of stainless, it is far superior to the browning. Size is its main advantage, but I wouldn’t carry one in the chamber.

    • @HillbillyMusings
      @HillbillyMusings  Год назад

      I definitely agree that carrying one in the chamber is iffy on these :) But I respectively disagree about the Bauer being superior. Yep, stainless is definitely nice, but the old Brownings are definitely machined and made better than the Bauers. Not enough to matter for functionality of course, but it's there. If you want the best of both worlds, stainless and incredible craftmanship, get you one of the modern PSA stainless versions of this firearm. They are VERY nice, but also very pricey too. Thanks for watching!!

    How is the recoil compared to the P32? My P32 is far more pleasant to shoot than my LCP. I've never shot a .25 acp.

    • @HillbillyMusings
      @HillbillyMusings  Год назад

      The Bauer / Baby Brownings are a bit softer than the P32, but they are much harder to shoot if you have big hands. Very easy to limp wrist them. I love my P32! Thanks for watching!!

    Fast question! I’m getting ready to buy a TUNDRA and my wife and myself are going to be sleeping in the bed after we get the shell installed. Do you have room to sleep in the bed of your Crewmax tundra or do you wish you would have gone with the double cab to give you more room in the bed? Like I said myself and my wife will be sleeping in the bed and we love the crewmax but not sure if we would have enough room in the bed to get comfortable.
    Thanks a ton

    • @HillbillyMusings
      @HillbillyMusings  3 года назад

      If yall are both on the shorter side you can make do with the Crewmax 5'5" bed. However if you're over 5'7" or 5'8", I'd recommend the double cab....you'll be more comfortable in bed being able to stretch out more.

    Would you trust it to carry condition 1?

    • @HillbillyMusings
      @HillbillyMusings  3 года назад +1

      I personally would not, although I believe it was designed to do so. You'll see what I mean if you take one apart and see how little holds that striker back, I'd be afraid a sharp drop at just the right angle would let things loose. I actually asked Sootch this question in a FB livestream and he said he wouldn't do it either. Thanks for watching!!
