I have a picture from 1968 of me, my brothers and sister in front of the Disneyland Christmas tree. It brings back such fond memories.

I remember my mom told me she took her and her sisters to Disneyland at Christmas time and John Wayne was reading the night before Christmas in town square and she said it was so magical. As for me during Christmas time I always hang up two stocking for my kids so even if we aren't together I still feel like we are together.
I love the idea that there is a huge network of ppp family toasting to each other’s happiness on Christmas Eve . I think that seeing me connected like that would make my loved ones incredibly happy
Seeing all of the stuff you can buy there reminded me of the good ol days getting the Disney Catalog in the mail and daydream how I wanted to have everything in the catalog in my house when I grew up 😂❤
I get completely emotional when it comes to Christmas decorations at Disneyland. My dad was one of the original guests on opening day in July 1955.. just over 10 years later, my dad took me to Disneyland ❤.. three generations later, we have been DCA passholders as well as all the name changes ever since. ❤
Disneyland has changed a lot but, then again, all children grow up and evolve. No matter what happens, they are still our children and we love them.

I don’t necessarily miss the real tree, but I do miss the warm glow and brightness of the old incandescent bulbs. Yes I get the reason, and the same is true for our home Christmas lights. The LEDs are a heck of a lot cheaper to buy and run, but they just don’t compare to the old style lights.
Thank you for the beautiful message Chris. We lost our 37 yr old son this year on New Years day, so this holiday will be especially hard. I try to focus on the 37 wonderful years we had together rather than the one day of his death. I will for sure be joining you Christmas eve with some egg nog. Not to depress anybody but we've lost one family member a year since Aunt Cheryl went to heaven in 2020. Mama went in 2021. Uncle Jerry went Christmas day of 2022. Telling stories about the people we love helps. I also like watching my Disneyland video from August 2000. It reminds me that Mama was alive.

I always enjoy your talks to us it hits me in the right spot I lost my dad a year later in the beginning of Dec I lost my sister 3 weeks later my mom boy do I understand and when I was little there was one Christmas we didn't get anything but I kept looking in the night sky for Santa and Rudolf every red blinking light I saw I thought it was Rudolf but it was just a plane as a kid ypu don't think of that so I understand everyone that is having a hard time just like you love you guys thank you for being there for us

The lights are all just so, so beautiful. Just this October, the last week to be specific my family (my 2 sons) & I were blessed to visit the parks together. It was a wonderfully blessed time for the 3 of us. But while in DCA to see The World of Color, my breath was taken away a bit when I saw the water front around Pixar Pier all lit up. It was just breath takingly beautiful to me. Chris thank you so much once more for your special messages you speak to all of us in your videos. This holiday season for me personally I've got a lot of mixed emotions. A good mixture of feeling so very blessed to have my oldest son come through & recovering so well from his recent cancer surgery he had in September. I feel he & his brother out walked me during our visit to the parks. So I'm happily emotional about that, plus just enjoying this special vacation time with my sons together visiting the parks. I'm a little sad from us having lost 2 family members both in a few weeks before we left for Disneyland. A cousin of ours passed away unexpectedly the first week in October & then we had to say goodbye to our 16 year old kitty cat fur baby 4 days before we were to leave for Disneyland. Again thank you for your special messages & for your wonderful messages. Happy Holidays to you and your family.

Chris, thank you for sharing your experience with me as always. 101 candles on the Disneyland tree on Main Street is so cool and I am so amazed by it's history. Disneyland during the holidays is such a fun time of year for me to be in the park. Seeing Disneyland all decked out for Christmas brings a sense of joy and happiness to my heart. My favorite thing to see at Disneyland during Christmas is the lights they put around Main Street, they sure go the extra mile for this holiday. Your message really took me to another side of myself in a great way. The attitude, love, demeanor, and style you bring to PPP amazes me.

Your personal messages make me feel like it’s the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me. Ever since my cat passed at 19 years old last year. I’ve felt even more alone, so watching your videos has become even more something to look forward to. Between your messages, puns and secret facts it brightens my day. I’ve never been to Disneyland for Christmas time, but I was finally able to go for Halloween time in 2011 and thought it looked wonderful.

We were at Disneyland this week last year. Was crowded but still had fun. Loved the holiday food trucks at DCA and a special dinner at Blue Bayou. We used Getaway Today for our hotel and park tickets. Definitely saved some money.
Disneyland at Christmas is the best!
It is crowded, for sure. You just have to adjust your expectations and maybe not do as many rides but really just be there for the ambiance.

I am sorry for your loss. It is hard for those of us that have lost family in the holidays. I lost my dad before and Nana just 2 days before Christmas and our family has never been the same. It is only my mom and me now so much has happened. Overwhelmed and sad. I feel your sadnesses but appreciate Chris’ message. If he only knew us we would have a friend out there. But good Christmas idea to honor those in Heaven.

This was my first time there for the holiday decorations. I knew it'd be beautiful at night, but the castle was so stunning, it stopped me in my tracks! Disneyland Holidays has now beat out Halloween in my book!

I started working on Main Street in October 2008. The tree was still a real tree. I remember seeing it coming down Main Street on a flatbed truck after closing. So it wasn't 2007 as you reported. Just wanted to let you know.

Christmas is the time that my family always tries to make it to Disneyland. I've always wondered why they haven't updated the It's a Small World to LED lights. Even in the bushes, they still use incadescent mini lights. I wonder if any of the cast members might know why that is. Maybe you could use your sweet charm and find out for us?

Chris, I don't know if you noticed it or not, but maybe my internet connection, but there are times when your camera is out of focus. Other than that you are very awesome and I am very happy that you share everything with us. Could I fly my drones in Disneyland or do they frown on the use of a drone. I have two really awesome drones and they take great photos and they even follow you. I love Disneyland at Christmas time it's great.
