Would like to remind everyone that there are only certain things I’m ALLOWED to post on here. Not all of “pick up day” is shown OR posted. From how it “was” for whomever, doesn’t understand or know what these trainees went through. Regardless, of how it looks like, again, I’m only allow to post small portions.
damn top secret shiet i bet u special forces🤨
i did my BCT in E 1/22 at Ft Sill back in 2001, yet I cant seem to find it anymore. Did 1/31 replace 1/22?
@Gabe Wilkerson you would be better off asking a soldier who went to or is at Fort Benning, this is Fort Sill, Oklahoma
I absolutely love this, thank you for the video. Hope to see more like these
I was just there in February. Drill sergeant Blackwell and Drill sergeant Sianes Ruined B1-31 lives... for the better though lol
My zero day was filled with screaming, being smoked on sand hill, simulated gunfire and smoke grenades.. every zero day is different, Fort Benning was awful lol
No_Name nice, that’s where I’m heading 😅
Parker Smith I pray you don’t get thrown onto sand hill! Lol reception will be loud, but nice.. your training site will be packed with a lot of.. goodies waiting. Not to scare ya’ or anything, honestly it becomes a fun experience overtime and I was smiling my zero day 😂
No_Name sweet!
I loved Fort Benning. Infantry!
Mr Gonzales Hooah!
Somewhere deep down, when you lay down late at night, when you're home and enlistment's done, a small voice whispers in the back of your mind:
"...I wanna do it again."
U high bro?
bro basic training at fortsill with senior drill sergeant summerfield
Yep
Trippppping
I just wanna piggyback off of what DS Bernie just said - The footage only shows what is allowed to be shown. I’m certain this kids went thru a lot worse than portrayed
God I haven't heard that phrase in years
I’m just gonna piggyback off of what His Dudeness said - There’s only so much that you can film, without getting hemmed up.
Oh yes
100% accurate here. At one point one of our DS looked at the volunteer filming and told her to turn the fucking camera off. Then the REAL screaming and insults started
Great advices: 1.) avoid creating unwanted attention. 2.) observe everything around. 3.) be a team player. 4.) Don't quit / Never give up!
Day zero was miserable 🤣 now im livin lavish at AIT❤
A vending machine =lavish
Man, for me, AIT was worse. Them artillery instructors didn’t give a fuck about feelings lol
Ahhh! AIT! it was so much better!
Senior Drill Sergeant Summerfield the king of the motivational speech!
Just remember as you are cozy in your bed worrying about problems in your civilian life, someone is out there doing this.
I feel you I'd rather do 5 more rounds of basic than one day of that hell called reception 10 days bearly 30hr of sleep
Fuck that glad I already went through basic and now I’m chillin
@@donotcareatall where'd ya go and if you say jackson trust me bening was 10x worse with infantry
DeadVoice United FLW with negative degrees and 11B Drill Sergeants it was pretty bad
@@donotcareatall fuck ya that's what I'm talking about you had it bad I know drills there give 0 fucks about regulations
Ah day 0's...good times
The moment I was happy I was reserves😂
Django 776 those were simpler times.
You have minutes to find your bag in that giant pile of crap over there.
Do I miss basic training? No. Do I miss being in the Army hell fucking yes.
@@sarahv6275 come back in then lol
I graduated from C 1-31 in 2016! We are the best Battery in the whole United States! Glad to see DS Brown still training up the next generation of soldiers!
Ahhh, yes... I remember this all too well.
I did basic in this unit about a year and a half before this video was posted. I was DS Stineman’s first cycle. Ended up working with DS Eggard towards the end of my contract when I did medical coverage at CST. Which was funny because he was my drill sergeant.
Just wanted to say I binged all your videos before going to BCT. It’s been roughly around a year I’m at my first duty stationed and thank you for the words of encouragement and for uploading these videos. Hoping to become a Drill SGT after I go to BLC next month 😬😬
I met Drill sergeant Summerfield when my friend graduated. You can tell he really cared about what he does. My friend only had good things to say about him.
I went to ft bliss TX, for basic training, 50 years ago. Lots of tough training.
dd214 feels nice today LOL
Cameron Mueller lol
Yessir
**laughs in DD214**
pussy
*judges you in dd214*
I was in Fort Benning in 1986 and 1987. I was scared to death when I got to the company where I was going to be at for basic training. No female drill Sargent's however. This video brings back a lot of memories. Thanks for posting this however.
Bro!!!!! Wtf!!!!! That's my ole drill sergeant from Echo 1/31 FA graduated basic in June6th 017.. its been bout a year never would I think I see ds Moore again LMFAO I'm surprised y'all actually helped them out unlike us with a proper intro
That’s definitely FT Sill, ahhh the memories. Greetings from a former private belonging to 1-31, Bravo Battery, BANDITS!
I know they hating life rn 😂
122 worriors
1-19 C Battery
Good day, drill sergeant! I hope that the new year is treating you well thus far. My experience in basic training occurred 35 years ago and I still remember every detail. No fault on you because the Army does not show all. Anyone who thinks otherwise truly doesn't get the difference between civilian life and the military. Drive on, drill sergeant, drive on!
Sand Hill in Ft. Benning, GA was awesome! Hoooooooooooooaaaa! I miss the Army every day. Iraq & Afghan had some fun and not so fun memories too! God Bless every one of these men & women!
Oh my God! 1-31 was my battalion! Graduate of 2nd Platoon Delta BTRY 9 Sept 2017 I spent time on the Charlie BTRY drill pad on Sundays in white and blue phase. Good times, I miss it
Looking at them made me remember back when I was in basic...lol I was scared of the drill sergeants until we got to white phase, then they became relax and started talking to me
anytime you hear half-right face.. it's over
can confirm ;)
I hated basic
I'm fucking dead🤣
A long time ago, I associated that command with back pain and lots of groaning to follow.
I remember this wonderful place. Day 0 was awesome. Every battery does this I'm sure, but I remember that miserable walk from Reception to A 1/19
I'll never forget how fort sill looks like. the barracks, dfac , even the pavement.
I remember my shark attack from fort Leonard wood. It was 3 months ago
What company
Echo 2-10 best company there
I just left Leonard Wood lol what company did you get there?
What company?
Foxtrot 217 MP BN
Always good quality content. Keep up the good work Ericka.
Charlie 1-79 ft sill Oklahoma, first platoon. My sr drill sgt was ds Pedroza, one bad ass guy. He left for ranger training when I left basic training. This was almost identical to what we went through, except we had to hold our bags over our heads, a lot of yelling, and it was like 110 degrees out. Good times, good times
Do not miss that shitty weather at Fort Sill at all.
Alpha 1/79
Style Trick fuck alpha 1/79
Roger that! Charlie 2. 4Th platoon. Summer-1982
Fort Knox 1995 was hot and humid in the Summer.
Fort Sill lol recognize that place lol
It's not Leonard Wood? Looks like Leonard Wood. I'm probably wrong. I haven't gone yet I go in a few months
@@Attntd Nah that's Sill... Crusty barracks, I'll recognize those from a mile away
@@antrodaze910 can't wait haha I'm off to Sill may 21st after my last semester at school
@@Attntd what's your MOS?
@@antrodaze910 13b
That speech by the DS at 1:40 though! I went through BCT at Fort Leonard Wood nearly ten years ago, good times.... lmao. Thank you for your service and all that you do!
Half right Face, front leaning rest position, beat your face 1-2-3 👍🏻😂🇺🇸
1 2 3. I can't hear u
This is Fort Sill, I just got back from there last month, was in Delta 1/31 3rd Plt
Week nothing, that takes me back. Now I feel old.
Fort Knox 1984 A5C-1. The most dreaded word was simply "DROP!" That was an automatic 25 pushups. Our squad started keeping count of our daily amount( about 500-550). Being a Cav Scout was a blast, weapons quail on all sorts of weapons back then and demo'ed all sorts of stuff. Good times.
Just graduated from C1-31 and this brought flashbacks lol
Zachary Partridge wassup dude
Did you graduate from C1-31 in August too
At the time when I fought with George Washington against the French, everything was different. )))
Igor Bond stfu simpleton
I was General Custer’s RTO , I was slacking off trying to pickup some tunes on the radio and Custer couldn’t call in for air support in time, his last words was where in the fuck did all these Indians come from, I got my ass smoked over that😳✅✅
Day zero was the best day ever!!! Ft Benning Georgia, harmony church, bravo troop 5-15 cav, 3rd platoon warpigs!
this is the battery i went to during basic. I remember drill seargent moore, aurtar and summerfield. They taught us so much in such a short time and always made sure we we safe, healthily, and hydrated
So I work at a shoppette on fort sill and met most of this cadre at my job. It’s great to see a little bit of what they do.
Hahah I just graduated last Friday, I did see DS Hill at the chow hall one time ripping a female up for a messy bun
My baby is at BCT right now... I😭😭😭😭 I hope he's doing well... I miss him so much.. he's is 17, too young and brave...
I graduated from delta 1-31 a month ago. Drill sergeant maloi calls the best cadence on post hands down.
I went to 1/31 Delta battery in Fort sill 2015. As soon as the video started rolling, I knew it looked familiar . The best memories that I would not like to go back.
Man I remembered fresh off high school, I was yelled at by 5-6 different drills because I dropped my bags and my PC. I got cussed out too, now 2021 drills don’t even cuss you out and doesn’t even yell at you anymore. If you got no pair, you shouldn’t even join the Army
i ship out tomorrow are they actually easier nowadays?
@@starellsamuels5487 It depends where your BCT is at
Hahah, me in four days. I'm so ready. Fort Jackson here I come. 😁
How did it go
@@redjack7296 fax
Just graduated earlier this month from that battery. They don't lie that is the best battery. With the BEST DS
At the :56 and the 2:32 mark, I saw the 172nd Infantry Brigade patch. That was the brigade I was in the 1980’s at Ft. Richardson, AK. Great looking patch.
HOLY SHIT I KNOW DSG STINEMAN
He was in my unit in Fort Hood, in 2-82 FA, First Cavalry Division! last I saw of him he was leaving to become a Drill Sergeant! How was he as a Drill Sergeant?
He was. He was SDS
Oh this brings back memories. I was in C battery 1-31st too. Drill sgt Eggert was one of my drill sgt. I dont recognize the others. Thanks for posting this video. Good times at Fort Sill.
Literally any company on Ft. Benning is better than everywhere else. Better quality soldiers in all areas
I remember walking that trail of tears from reception to my battery back in 2015. We didn’t have truck to take the bags though. Just 110 pound me carrying a that new gear for what seemed like 20 minutes down the road.
Bravo company, 4th battalion, 1st training brigade, Fort Campbell KY. January 1971. Scared shitless.
I was there back in 2012. Such a great experience. Thanks for sharing this. Love the Army🥰
This is the life. I was at Sand Hill, Ft. Benning, Alpha 2/58. First cycle where they had female DS's for 11B's series and the last cycle at those Barracks. Man... Did they go out with a bang. DS's coming up.. "we're the first female DS's at Benning and we overheard the other DS's and trust me we can hold our own. Needless to say that amounted to getting fucked up. I really enjoyed getting off the bus and just being yelled at for the first 100m and then suddenly sim grenades being tossed, and smokes with 240's going off. Heat cat 5 and doing laps with duffel bags around the track. Also the investigations. Still was an all boys school at the time. PRICELESS.
I would love to see an unedited version of this day
Oh god, the memories of BCT of fort sill..1/31 Bravo Bandits.
Found this video 5 years after I graduated and I didn't know hearing DS Blackwell's voice could still trigger me after all these years. 🤣"Oh my God 4th PLATOON, THE SKY IS FALLING!!!"
Delta 1/31 saw two of my drills in this video gave me major flashbacks.
My zero day we got smoked all day. This was at fort Knox, home of the cave scouts.. all of my drill sergeants in my platoon were cav scouts.
85 March 12....C 1 Charlie Cobras " No mission too difficult, No sacrifice too great! Drive on Drill Sgt, Drive on Sgt!!" ....I will never forget that!
Charlie 131 was my battery lol
Give em hell Drill Sergeant, give em hell!
Zoliebee fuck you
Good ol' Ft. Sill haha went to basic at Fox Battery 1/79 in 2014.
Holy shit... this is fort sill, This is exactly where my battery was in during BCT. 39s into the video my barracks where to the right side. This was in 08. Back then Reception was across the tracks closer to the Airfield. Wow did this bring back some memories.
The barracks where brand new 10 years ago. Glad they kept them up. Its a hell of alot nicer. The chow hall has been updated. It was a shit hole when I went. Flies all over the place, shitters overflowing. It was fucking nasty.
I have to keep telling myself while watching this. My DD214 blanket keeps me safe! 3 words on that day that struck fear in our herd... Half right.... Face!
Was there before these guys in the summer. I actually recognize 3 drills here when they were in E bat. So weird seeing them scream at someone else for a change
I recognize drill sergant Davis he moved to delta btry
When I went to basic training at Fort Benning, we didn't have batteries. We had Companies. I was part of Charlie Company 1-46.
Just got back from fort sill, I hate Oklahoma
Good lord that's Ft. Sill. *shudders at basic memories*
That was my company in basic (August-October 2015) can’t believe drill sgt brown was still there lol, memories
more video about basic training plz🔥🔥🔥🖑
Oh man, the first barracks used to be fox 1-40th. Nice to see those again Miss BCT
Fort Sill and still the same drill sergeant I saw when I went to BCT for reception. My god nostalgic times.
Charlie battery 1-31 ❤️ 4th platoon!
It’s cool to see how different this is compared to an MP OSUT.
You pump me up Drill Sergeant Hill!! Hooooooaah
POG
I don’t know why but the “that’s kinda how the Army works” comment from the DS kinda triggered me 😂😂
Those reception barracks used to belong to Fox 1-40th. Feels good to see those barracks
Words you will 100% hear during BCT:
PVT Jodie, WHAT IS YOUR 1ST GENERAL ORDER! WHAT PRI YOU DONT KNOW, PLT HALF LEFT FACE... THANK PVT Jodie PLT.(THANK YOU PVT Jodie).. FRONT LEAN AN REST POSITION MOVE.
Good ol Fort Sill. 1/19 golf battery 2 plt
Charlie 1/19
Hey!!!
That’s Fort Sill!
Long time ago, long long time ago....never mind.
We had no heat during a winter
I was scared out of my life during my day zero and getting off the bus and seeing 20 drill sergeants outside the bus and ready to mess us up but looking back it wasnt that bad.
Well, damn. The bottom floor of building 6053 was my barracks when I went to basic. Small world
That day zero was so chill compared to fort Leonard Wood lol I wish I would have gone there for basic!
Oh hey this was my Battery in BCT. Great memories and great Drill Sergeants
Feels like I was just there yesterday
Brings back memories. Bravo battery 1-79 "dogpound"
Nice to see Sgt Reyes as a DS now.
CrazyPudg holy shit who are you This is Kuelper 2nd PLT
Are you Nov 3 grad?
Brings back alot of memories, thanks for posting this video
I wonder if the drill sergeant at 1:40 is a former marine 🙃🤔😂
How am I just now seeing this? Lol. I was in Alpha 1-31 7 years ago this month. Great times!
The first part of this video remind me of those improv videos where some participants just freeze in place to shock the bystanders unaware of what is going on (I went to BCT in 2010 and we did none of this shit).
Brings back fond memories. Front lean and rest position.... MOVE!
Weird coming from fort Jackson I’ve never heard battery I guess that it’s an artillery thing.
Yep that's ADA
Toasty Waffles Yes. It's an artillery thing.
Toasty Waffles What is Jackson like I leave for it June
Tigerwingx what day in June, I leave for Jackson in June as well
laci From my battles from Jackson I heard it gets really humid. And really stormy
Bravo Battery 1-40th over six years ago for me. Those were the days
God damn I am never gonna forget my Day Zero from Fort Leonard Wood. Shit was chaos, screaming and our Drills throwing our bags across the whole company formation
Not Slim Shady when did you graduate?
My lord i actually miss my Drill Sergeants and this battery. Dont miss the fact that the day i went through this was my 26th birthday but hey its one for the books.
About 2 years ago I was in same spot lol great memories
I thought those barracks looked familiar, graduated A 1-31 a couple weeks before this vid. Good times good times
