"The truth shall set you free"
This honest revelation should shame all those character assassins who parades themselves as oppositions, if they have shame at all. Gambians should know that our central government is polluted by hardened criminals, who will do everything within their capacity to ensure that their interests are served. President Jammeh was one of the most patriotic leaders of his time, but the bunch of self centered individuals who surrounded him made it very difficult for him to carry the country to the level he wished. Unessary and often misleading ranting from the grudged opposition couldn't help matters too. Sadly, I'm seeing the same thing with this government.

How do we convince the upcoming generation that education is the key to success, when we are surrounded by poor graduates and rich criminals in our country? You’ve got to change your perspective.
Education isn’t the learning of facts. It’s developing the ability to think.
Success isn’t money. It’s value you added to others’ lives. It’s freedom to do what you want on your terms.
You cannot buy time with money. But you can use time to make money. That’s the difference between being rich and being successful.
Poor graduates regurgitated facts in college, facts which will soon become irrelevant. They didn’t learn to think, or to master the ability to learn hard things quickly. That’s why they’re stuck in a rut.
You might think rich ‘criminals’ lead amazing lives. In reality though. they keep wishing they had a way out. But they’re so neck deep in shit that they can’t find a way out - at least not in the near future. (However, I don’t subscribe to any correlation between richness and crime.)
Does the upcoming generation want to grow rich and become a slave to money? Or does it want to lead a meaningful life, one where it makes a difference to others?
It’s the latter, isn’t it? Hence, the upcoming generation must learn to think for itself, and use its knowledge and expertise to think about the betterment of others. Success will be a byproduct.
Still think they need convincing about the importance of education?

Yahya is innocent and God has shown it to us all as Gambians. Proof is that since he left that country there’s been no peace. Everything they falsely accused him of has happened in multi folds and no one is saying anything about it. During yahya time even if a chicken dies you accuse yahya. But now how many people die in that country and no one accuse barrow? Hypocrisy is what disturbing that country.

He took the money and was too rich while others lived in fear, they were often poor, they were afraid to complain, some disappeared. Surely Gambia has competent and caring people there to serve as president? This man is full of himself, self praise is no recommendation.
