To clarify for everyone thinking nidhogg is the new fifth hit, it is not. The character has a glow around its feet just before attacks, yellow for gcd and blue for ogcd, the dragoon here flashes blue so nidhogg is an ogcd. The animation that happens just after nidhogg should be the new drakesbane fifth hit tho, seeing as it is seen after both wheeling thrust and fang and claw in both combo loops
As others have noticed, the Nidhogg attack isn't the new fifth hit. The spear combo after it is, since they show that following both Wheeling Thrust and Fang And Claw. I believe the Nidhogg attack is the new setup for Life Of The Dragon, since they said during the LL that they were changing how it worked so DRGs could do a full opening burst like other jobs. It'll likely proc LOTD Ready (like the updated versions of Manafication and Plentiful Harvest they showed), which will allow Geirskogul to trigger Life phase as usual.
If you know your DRG, on the buff combo he goes Wheeling, into OGCD nidhogg thing, into new Drakes Bane instead of fang and claw then raiden thrust to start the damage combo. Drakes bane replaces the second hit of whatever wheeling/fang combo you are doing and drakes bane doesn't require a positional. So on buff combo you do wheeling/drake then on damage you do fang and claw/drake. The wheeling and fang still need positional but the drake wont so you don't have to shift as much.
I just hope at least the ogcd have some interactions instead just being damage abilities. To me at least, it was one of dragoon biggest problems being a bloat job with little interactions within the kit.

My only gripe with this is they took Spineshatter Dive, but I think it's worth the sacrifice for the new abilities they're giving us.
I think Lance Charge and Life Surge deserved to be sacrificed, but Squre seems to hate DRG now for some reason and made every poor decision possible.
