As a DRK main, I'm excited with the changes I've seen so far. So, I'm even more tentatively excited to see what else they're cooking in addition. Probably gonna go Pictomancer though for the new jobs. It just looks fun.
Honestly, it's a three-way tie between Ninja, Picto and Viper. I wasn't super interested in Picto until they did their showcase of it. The way it plays looks complex and interesting. Viper has the double-swords I've always wanted, and Ninja without having to micromanage Huton is so sick.
For the ley lines idr exactly what they said in the live letter but from what they said people are assuming you'll only be able to move your ley lines once per ley line (ie. If you want to move them again you'll have to cast ley lines again) which would mean between the lines still has a purpose
New gap closers for Drg, Drk and Gnb are all slides and do no dmg anymore My assumption to why is to remove them from the burst window as they are already busy enough (many oGCDs to press, as is) Drk, as an example, also consolidated Blood weapon and Delirium into one (in DT) and so we now have 3 less buttons to press during the 2 mins burst window (2 plunges and blood weapon in EW) Also, remember that tanks need to weave in defensive oGCDs as well and usually during 2 mins in Savage and Ultimates Yoshi-P knows that anything that has any little bit of potency attached to it will be used by the player, so they are just removing them from the jobs with too many oGCDs to press, currently in EW
The Astro gave the Red Mage a melee card in the first set. I guess the cards are not even differentiated by melee/ranged now? Wonder what the colours mean. Also, I am glad I grinded DRS for the Augmented Scouting gear for my Viper glam cuz I am definitely running Viper in DT.
loved the viper class because of the style of clothing, I love clothes like Assassin's Creed, this job class looks like a mix of swordsman, Warrior, guardian, thief, ninja and lancer, dragon, almost reaching a very cool gladiator class job that is not in this game and this would be a mix of swordsman and paladin, the same as a guardian, but it lacked a whip again, urumi mace, kusarigama chain, scyther or snake sword whip retractable blade for this job class viper or even another class job in this style or remembering Auron from ffx 10 with this type of weapon and enchanter skills such as vagrant story, witcher and perhaps together or separately from the shapeshifter or complete morpher skill. There is a dragoon but there is still no valkyria mixed class of cleric and dragoon lancer rune knight dancer or singer just for girls like ravness from tactics ogre, paladin, the warrior in this version with an ax like a Viking barbarian instead of two swords or a large and robust buster sword like Cloud from ff7, monk, red mage class that is missing in the tactical versions of final fantasy, reaper that looks like a necromancer and dark knight, machinist the eenginer gunner pirate gun mage and alchemist in a single class all mixed with a cowboy outfit looked really cool, There's a black and white wizard, a ninja job class half a swordsman a thief an enchanter and elemental warrior, Summoners, dancer, bard, a mix of a singer and an archer, a ranger, there's the new class pictormancer, magic paintings, it was cool, I thought it would be something between relm from ff 6 to trainer from ff 5 or the cardish class from arc the lad 3, but it was good, giving the touch of fantasy childlike innocence, less violent or aggressive that the other classes don't have, to give the game a real touch and be half and half non-violent too much and without Don't lose the fantasy innocence and childishness, sage magic lasers of pure energy job class that plus the swordsman class makes the gladiator and or guardian class, and next to these two job classes in addition to the paladin there is the samurai and the gunbreaker that resembles squall from ff 8 and the class job gunn warrior from wild arms. Anyway, I hope for role-playing games, or action and adventure, metroidevania platform with graphics playing like the drawings sketches in drawings of final fantasy tactics, vagrant story, tactics ogre, live a live or like pastel painting of the screen drawings status of characters from Legend of Dragoons, Sword of Vagrant, uncorn overlord equal graphics for both characters and scenery in 2d, 3d or a mix of both hand painted or not and magic effects between laser beams like Final Fantasy Dawntrail 14 or anime style like Street Fighter Alpha or Guity Gear. Final fantasy dawntrail 14 is certainly another masterpiece game that many have seen, it looks like an excellent game, beautiful graphics, characters and job class, a great video. Confiteor functions in pve the way pvp abilities function - it's all one button that just changes to the next combo ability. It wasn't a comment on whether confetti was or is an actual ability in pvp :^]
@@ClarissaEvergarden Ah, didn't think of it that way. There are several abilities like that for other jobs, but I guess not so many on a single combo? Honestly, I've always wished they turned royal authority into atonement instead of having to put it on a completely separate button to finish the combo. Pld has a lot of buttons to press, and it requires a 3rd hotbar for the last skill on controller iirc.

Every single Job Action trailer is meant to showcase everything in regards to certain changes and "new" actions the old jobs will be receiving for that expansion. Meaning yes, everything we see that is "new" are the stuff we will be getting. Everything else as far as the skills that already exist in our toolkits that wasn't shown for each Job may still be there or likely removed. This means that yes, as far as PLD and WAR are concerned they still have only Intervene and Onslaught respectively. They did not on the other hand receive a similar Gap Closer like DRK or GNB did. If they had, they *would* have shown them in the trailer. That's the the whole point behind these trailers. Which is to showcase *ALL* of the new abilities the old Jobs will receive in the expansion. They wouldn't withhold anything new we haven't seen, as at no point has that happened for any Job action trailer.

It was in regards to anything that is *NEW* to any jobs being shown off is the whole point behind a Job Action trailer. It's always been a thing and even then, anything that was shown in the trailer that didn't end up a part of our toolkit, ended up being relegated as a PVP action. Perfect example? Samurai's Fuko animation. Which before in the Endwalker Job Actions was shown to initially be in our kit, but got changed to have the same animation but with the Ice Effect removed. So yes, my point still stands. You just didn't read what I said as I was being very careful with my words. "New" is the whole point here dipwad. It's you whose smoking something serious considering you didn't even read nor understand my comment correctly, talking about something not even related to it?
