    I know this is an old video but I just came across it. I want to commend you for your ability to explain something new. This was right on the money. Easily understandable. So many people who think they should be making RUclips videos and explaining things to other people don’t even tell WHAT they are going to do before they start saying HOW to do it. You however, have a natural gift for teaching. Thank you.

      Thank you for the kind words! I hope to keep making videos more frequently once I find a shop space closer to where I live!

      I'm glad it helped! The better stud finders aren't this sensitive, but cheap ones will usually work!

    Good video. You made the point very well. These things are not good or outright terrible.

    Good try with stud finder, but it is defective trash. When someone purchases a tool, it should work as advertised. Thanks for the effort .

    I HAVE THIS ONE I HATE IT TOO MUCH FOOLING AROUND WITH IT!! Do ANY WORK THROUGH LATH AND PLASTER??

    • @TheAfterWorkGarage
      @TheAfterWorkGarage  Год назад

      I very much doubt this one would work through lath and plaster, but it could be worth a try. I know there are more expensive models out there that actually do quite a nice job at finding studs through various wall types, but I'm not sure about lath and plaster in particular.

    I have the HF one too and its janky. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Too inconsistent even with fresh batteries. Have 15 year old zircon that's much more accurate 🤷🏻‍♂️
