the demotivation after a patch and all the mods break is so relatable. Not even joking, I literally DREAD anytime I see any posts about sims updates and or new packs coming to the game bc I know for a fact that I won’t be able to properly play my game for at least a week or two before it gets fixed for bugs and my mods have all been updated.
absolutely... every patch when everyone is like make sure you take your mods folder out of your game, i simply never do bc i always hope i can just get into game and everything will magically work lol. but that is not the case... and honestly with the game being so old poor sims 4 can't handle all these packs at once

I think the issue with the TOOL mod is because of the darker ui mod, When you download it there is a TOOL mod overlay for it in one of the downloads folders of the darker ui mod, deleting that fixed it for me :)
@@vespberry8717 when you download the mod [vyxated] Chalk’d UI, go into the folder called: 00_Additional Files, the there should be a few separate folder where one of them says TMEX - TOOL, then you just delete that TMEX TOOL folder

hii! i also had that pop up of TOOL mod, the issue probably is that you still have another version of TOOL mod in your 'the sims 4' folder (or at least that was my issue)
Personally I don’t mind abt cc lists but if you wanted to do one I know a few people make Google docs on certain packs they use :) hope you feel better soon xx
omg with tool mod its the chalk'd ui remove the file that says TOOL mod because it conflicts (i hope i explained correctly)! i had that problem too it took me 2 weeks to realize it was that file

some (or one of them) of my mods doesn't work well with the chalk dark ui mod sadly so I had to get rid of it :\
