Thanks for the latest coverage of OC! This is my birthplace. Whoa! That's a staggering amount of people. And ewww the market still sucks as far as the dirt. The Sh!+ river is ewww! still Sh!+ and it looks worse and I feel sick seeing it. I can smell the stench! But one thing I love about are the friendly smiling, happy faces you encounter along your way. And I think it's amazing how all types of drivers can maneuver this area really well without causing accidents. Thanks for your love of walking and filming places. You bring back memories good and bad.

Olongapo fascinated me, I don't know why. I've been there maybe 7 or 8 times or more. I would like to live there someday. Is there constant flooding or traffic in Olongapo?

I was TAD to Sunoco bay from 1965-1968 in the military during the Viet Nam conflict. Across the gates of the base, led into Olongapo. I went back to Manila in 2019. A pastor freind was my guide, we drove to Sunoco Bay and Olongapo. The Philippine government had ended our contract to have military bases there in 1993 I think. Sunoco Bay was a tourist spot when I went back. Alongapo was so much different when Ivrevisired, more modern. When Ivwas there the streets were not paved as I remember. I was an E5, a beautiful Philippe a girl wanted me to marry her. I was only 20 years old. Get married, lol. The folks there were very poor, young women would marry anyone with potential to provide a good living. She took me to see her parents, she was serious. I liked her, but not for marriage. She was a good lady, no sleeping around. As an American, I have values, not knowing her well enough for marriage wasn’t a consideration. She finally told me one day I had 30 days to let her know if I would marry her. I knew the answer for that then. I had compassion for the conditions they lived in. The folks there were really good people. Fond memories there. I stayed in Manila two weeks. They have malls as nice, or nicer than here in America. Christmas was celebrated like America use to celebrate Christmas. I’d like to visit again, it’s a 16 hour flight from Chicago to Soul South Korea. Then another three hour flight to Manila. I can’t do that again. Hello friends in the Philippines.

Not changed lol there is 3 Malls. Texas JOs and lighthouse resort. Leonardo’s and Golds Gym. Harbor Point is full of places to eat. Yacht Club
