Totally agree to protect your investments! My tipup alarms I bought 18 years ago and bought a case for them and I still have them! One tip you probably know already but in case someone doesn't know: when in storage take the batteries out! I didn't do that one year and when I went to use them again the battery acid leaked out and now I have corrosion on the negative side! I scraped most of it off but it could've easily been prevented if I had just taken the batteries out!
Thank you for the info about the ice fishing Alert system I’m going to pick one up for my Jaw Jacker tip up. I’m ask will they still work with the jaw jacker?
the only thing extra I could add is make sure when you're done with the season take your batteries out I've had expensive electronics go to shit because the battery exploded
I'm curious what is a temperature ratings, how it will preform in extreme cold temperatures?May be better to use rechargeable AA nickel metal hydride batteries.
For mine the upgraded version sayshold 5 and 6 down and it shuts the unit off automatically without having to open it and hit the button all the time. It works I tried it
Hi there,Evening Dave sir. Thanks for the review. They seem sweet. Just curious would they be the (v4.0) model? Also have you ever used the blue tipz alarm? If so your thoughts as the difference between the two? Thanks in advance. Tight lines.
Not sure if thats the model but the difference with these viruses bluetips is range and dedicated receiver remote! Also the trigger isn't limited like the blue tips and makes these useful for more than just one thing!
Just watched your aluminum boat casting deck vid. How did that boat work out for you? Is it stable enough to fish? Im a big musky fisherman and a standing casting deck is a huge help. Wondering if it would be safe/worth it
PINK aDAM the lower deck/floor in that boat would be great for skis and the front deck is good for cruising the shallows and sight fishing but I wouldn’t be chucking big baits from it!
@@DWSOutdoors do you weigh it down with ballast at all? My plan is to put a tub or water jug or something in the front under the deck and have a two way water pump that i pump water in before i go on the water and then pump out before i trailer it. Also mine is a wider V, so im hoping it would work out. That does convince me to put the lower deck in though
I put my trolling motor battery and Fish Finder battery down low in my compartment! So I know that helps a good amount with counter balance! If you have a wider boat it should be good to go!
Pick up your Alarms and Case to protect them LINKED in the DESCRIPTION of the video!

Off season nothing should ever have batteries left in it!
@@DWSOutdoors exactly! A tip for those that may not know better. I've learned my lesson! Hopefully others won't have to endure that pain!

Yeah the best thing to use is find those little alligator clips and attach a string to it and tie the string to the magnet 🧲👊🏼🎣
Any chance you still make this system?

Ok thanks sir.
The model can be checked simply by popping it open and reading the side of the battery holder should be a sticker on there
@@Georgebd2,Thanks sir. That would work for in person but not looking at them online.
I think that all the new ones going out should be the latest model?
