By the end of the campaign Paxton and Co. are going to have 1) trust issues due to constant mind control, 2) paranoia about suddenly appearing walls, and 3) a crippling fear of rocks larger than their fist. Man i love to watch this campaign.
"Sorry, little buddy, you were made wrong." :D That game was so brutal; especially you poor Templar getting so badly hosed by Owen's Mind Control. Forget it Ash, this is Cloddmington. By the way; you've posted the same game twice on with video; hence its length.
Great game guys! Sorry your guys got really banged up this game but it was a hard fought battle. I think your templar might be into the whole mind control thing....she never gets injured and keeps coming back.
Is it me or is the episode twice? I almost thought we would get a second one but no... unlucky. On a side note, I think its the first time Owen gets hot dice... its nice to see it happen and its very thematic as it feels as if he is defending his home turf so he got the big rockboi pants on. It also shows that he doesnt need WALL to get work done ;) Next mission should be at a GRAVEYARD when the Clods come to bring the fight to the Necromancers home.
For those who play Frostgrave, I have a question. In the 2nd ed rulebook on page 38, it mentions that there should be so much terrain on the table that a character can't draw line of sight more than a foot. After watching this game and seeing the use of the mind control, this seems rather important as being able to use the spell on a powerful fighter right off the back feels broken. Is there a reason Ash plays without following that guidance or do most people recommend following the guidance in the book?
To be honest, Mind Control in general seems pretty obscene. I'd probably houserule it to cut down the range to 6" or so (got to see the whites of their eyes).
I could imagine it'd be much harder to film on a very dense board, but yeah, you shouldn't be able to draw LOS right the way across the board on turn 1
Love the uncut second version of the video :)

Thank god for subtitles.
"Indy, take the left tunnel! No, Indy! The left tunnel! The left! Indy!"

Good stuff!
Sorry if I missed it but where do you get the terrain and battle mat?
how many spells can you cast out of the game? loving so far this series
I think every out of game spell can be cast once per spellcaster.
Those tracks and carts are pretty sweet. Where'd you get them?

Template Knights? More like Templar Might betray everyone
Why is the video double length? Couldn't see how it was going to last 1hr 30 when everyone got killed and it didn't just same game twice
why is the vidoe on twice
The second one is filled with secrets and bonus content.
Were you two getting tired about 38 minutes into the game? LOL Who moved where and did what. LOL
you talk VERY fast, kind hard to process if you are foreign. :(
