Sir, I owned a Silverton 620, upgraded to an 810 and now I am getting a Silverton XL. I find that Traeger’s customer service is top notch, they’ve always been helpful to me. I noticed on your one year review of the Traeger 810 there was a gap in front between the heat shield and side of your grill held buy two screws, that’s a defect that can’t be replaced. Your manual says to unscrew the shield and clean underneath to prevent grease build up. I think you should give Traeger a call. When you get your next Traeger look for areas where grease get between cracks because it shouldn’t happen.

I'll definitely do that. I've had a thermostat go out and they sent me one right away. Definitely top notch support. That's awesome about the XL, hope you really enjoy it!

where did you get those buckets for the pellets

I got them at Home Depot. I couldn't find them on the Home Depot website, they may have changed to the plastic buckets. I did find them on the Traeger website - www.traeger.com/au/en/accessories/pellet-storage-bucket

Oh man. Sorry to hear that. I've had a few issues, but I just called the Traeger support and they've helped me work though it. Hope this might work for you and get you grilling soon and consistently.

WOW, I have tragers for years and have had really good luck with them. Had the old ProSelect before the Silverton.

You are doing something wrong. You have to clean your Traeger properly. As for the Wi-Fi it took me a while to figure it out, now it works fine. Pellet grills are not like charcoal. The pellet grill are relatively new they started selling the first ones in 1988. Traeger replaced my whole pellet grill for an upgrade at no cost, you just have to communicate and know what to ask for.
