Something really intense that NIN always did was to hit like a 10% volume boost the last time through the chorus, e.g. at 4:07 here. Super effective.

It is amazing what Finks does as background elaborate noises. What a great band!! At the pinnacle. The Downward... is a great record indeed and I love it. But The Fragile's times are the best of NIN. I so love that record
