Thank you so much for this video. Yeah it was Ashoka Emperor who was invading countries and he could have expanded his region even up till Persia. But he realized of not killing any more humans and living things and converted to a Buddhist. And he converted from Afghanistan to Sri Lanka to current Bangladesh to buddhism. His son brought more buddhism and daughter brought a branch of the Buddha Gaya tree and we call it Sri Maha Bhodhiya and it's in Anuradapura near Ruwan Wali Saya temple and sthupa. Lord Buddha arrived in Sri Lanka three times in his life time after the enlightenment. There have been 29 Buddha's and our Buddha is Gauthama Buddha and the next is Maithree Buddha. i wish there wasnt a giant gold gate infront of where you were supposed to look at the base of the tree. 10:34 - iknow it dosnt fit the environment, but a big plexi glass window would have been perfect :D hah. Thanks for the tour :)
King Asoka help regenerated The Buddha Religion to what it is now! Vietnam is not a country that believes in Buddhism, most Vietnamese that is! Because communist government does not allow their people to believe anything else beside the communist government! The south part of Vietnam are made of Cambodian called Khmer Krom. The ancient Cambodian king was manipulated by one of his wife which is a Vietnamese woman to have control of the Khmer Krom land and what was known as South Vietnam. Just a little fact to let all readers knows that most Vietnamese does not believe in Buddhism. Most of the monks if their not politically motivated are all from Khmer Krom and Khmer Krom stilled traditionally believes in Buddhism. We Cambodian do wish Vietnam as a country to adopt Buddhism so they can help spread peace to throughout Southeast Asia. But like most communist country Vietnam does not have the mind and heart to be trustworthy as a Buddhist Nation. What you see from Vietnam is just a masquerade just like China hiding their true agenda with this COVID-19 pandemic! Vietnam also masquerade their real global agenda!!! In Southeast Asia only Burma, Cambodia, Thai & Laos are the only Buddhist countries that exist in that region. I appreciate your video but it’s a ashamed you didn’t have all your facts checked!

Some of the artifacts displayed here are not originals but a copy as originals are kept in Museums in Kolkatta, Patna and Delhi.
