Forma Viva: Unveiling the Slovenia Coast's Enchanting Open Air Art Show

In this video I show you around an interesting open air art sculpture gallery exhibition situated on a hilltop beside the region of Seca and just above Lucija campsite.
It was started by Slovenian artists Jakob Savinšek and Janez Lenassi in 1961 and has been open continuously since, during which masons from more than 30 different countries have contributed more than 130 stone sculptures. The exhibition is surrounded by the indigenous olive trees of Piran and features a breath taking view over Portorož Bay and its surroundings.
The Slovenia coast is completely underrated. Even Slovenes forsake it for neighbouring Croatia. However, as I am going to show you in this series of videos, Slovenia has just as much to offer as its neighbour and quite frankly there is no need to drive all the way south, when you can drive one hour from Ljubljana and bask in the beauty of the many lovely little places along this little stretch of the Adriatic Sea.
