The Sisters of Mercy are epic. I remember it so well hearing them the first time. It`s something you never forget. I really love to see the songs you do reactions on. I have watched a lot, but your choices are always the best. Keep up the great work young lady
Loved the British goth scene in the 80s. The Mission was another class act at the time along with The Fields of the Nephilim, all in the same mould.
I have only recently discovered fields of nephilim and am totally obsessed

My favorite band and my favorite song!!!!
Well, badass is a pretty damn fine description of Mr. Eldritch (he is so badass that - out of fury over the corrupt record label system he decided - in 1992- never to record a song again). Check out their biggest hits: Temple of Love and More, although the most badass probably is "Lucretia"
In 1993 he recorded "Under the Gun".
For Temple of Love take this one: ruclips.net/video/xK7QM5C7pBU/видео.html - it's a very well made fan-video (inlcuding the original (but stupid) video and numerous tv-appearances in an intelligent way) - it is the extended cut, but belive me, with this song, the more the better. If you like that song, you should check out - for yourself - the original 1983 version with the original band, when they were basically a sinister, obscure and veiled vampire cult. For the other two songs you can take the original videos.
"Lucretia My Reflection" is pretty good too
My fav of theirs and one of my fav 80s tunes
Absolutely. Epic
Love it when people discover this brilliant band.
Temple of Love extended version, Mother Russia. This Corrosion also has an extended mix which is even more awesome.
WOW!!! Shocked and Happily Surprised to see this here! Love SISTERS OF MERCY ... Love this song!! This song is something like 10-minutes long on the Album cut!! ... EPIC....the entire album this is from, FLOODLAND, is fantastic!! I'd suggest **LUCRETIA, MY REFLECTION** by them next for a reaction. You'll Not Go Wrong! Cheers!!!!
So happy to see a reaction to this..love SOM, and specially this song.
Love this album, full of great songs!!
Yeah! In my opinion, outside of the Goth community Sisters of Mercy is an underrated & under appreciated band. All three of there albums & all there EPs are Goth masterpieces. Fortunately enough they’re still going with Andrew Eldritch being the only original founding member left but they’re still going as a touring band and according to what I read online despite being a touring band only they have made new & unreleased music. And they perform them live.
Andrew & Patricia : THE ULTIMATE GOTH COUPLE !
Love Sisters of Mercy. The lead singer Andrew Eldritch unwittingly became the poster boy of the goth subculture in the 80s. Everyone copied him.
Guilty as charged. I am.
Sisters Of Mercy : Rock gothique. " Temple OF Love" un classique
I recomend you to listen and react to Lucretia my reflectiom. Fllood 2, Emma, Dominion, More, Marian, Ribbons and Gimme Shelter. All from The Sisters of Mercy or their versions.
This Corrosion and Lucretia MY reflection From TSM and SEVERINA by The Mission are The face of 80's Gothic Music. Ah! Cities lies and dust too!
Black Planet
This is a shortened version of the song. You can't go wrong with anything from their Vision Thing album. This Corrosion is from the Floodland album.
Great Reaction
So nice to have found a Nuevo Mexico homegirl!!! YAY LOVE SISTERS!! ❤
Check out " Alice" and " Marian"
😱
Indeed ^^
Andrew Eldritch was like the Billy Idol of goths.
He says he hates all things goth and that SOM was never a goth band, lol. Guy's got issues.
Should listen to Dominion next
u must hear Temple of Love with Ofra Haza as backround
wow nice to see some one listening good music at these days. you should try bit younger goth band: the 69 eyes - the chair.... keep on rocking!
2:50 "name of band: sisters of Mercy". I've got to say this: while they were formed, the Police made no arrests, but we should be grateful that the Stranglers never went around garrotting people! :)))))))))))
Maybe they didn't make it to the states cuz I never heard of them before. But this really is out of my comfort zone. But they still had the same bee and sound love that time.
Have a good one Ola ❤😂
Deep Voice ? ...check out Carl McCoy / Fields of the Nephilim.....the Goth Voice equivalent to Peter Steele / TON !
I sense badassery😅
Epic band - one of the best! You can't go wrong with them, but check out Temple of Love - probably the 1992 one (although I'm never sure if I prefer the original version)
The Sisters of Mercy? My, you sure are exploring new (but great!) paths... ^^
If you want more dark & energetic songs of them, do consider both "More" ( ruclips.net/video/M2_iuMZEKj4/видео.html ) and of course "Tempel of Love", in the remix of 1992 ( ruclips.net/video/TMETa77dUrg/видео.html )!
I agree. And I can see why you posted an "audio only" link for "Temple of Love" as the original video is quite stupid. But there is a very good fan-made one incorporating the original video and numerous tv-apperances of SOM and Ofra in a very intelligent way. It's the extended cut. but with this song, the more, the better: ruclips.net/video/xK7QM5C7pBU/видео.html
Goth bamd
Try "Temple of Love (1992)" and "Gimme Shelter" [ ruclips.net/video/TMETa77dUrg/видео.html ] and [ ruclips.net/video/uV0vfM3eKk8/видео.html ]
"Temple of Love" (1983) is better.
All the best goth bands claim not to be goth 😉
The album version is10 mins long. Much better version
The goth band that insists that they aren't a goth band.
Don't go to the gym too much. It's a tragedy when women with pretty dark brown eyes, warm personalities and warm features burn off all their curves in the gym. 🙁😏😏😏
