I love this track, it's always been one of my favourite Fields tracks. It's more a throw back to the earlier stuff, like Reanimator off Dawnrazor or Power. Love the energy, was fantastic live in their prime.
Psychonaut lib III. A standalone single between this record and the next one (I actually only like the second side of Elyzium), and a musical manifesto of epic proportions. The best of the best of the Neph!
Loved your analysis of Caravan Nine Feet Underground, made me subscribe! That album changed my life as a 10th grader in 1970-71 when my local FM radio station played it late at night, I was developing my drumming and became a devotee of fusion, which compels me to recommend to you Soft Machine, Gentle Giant, Weather Report, PFM (Premiata Forneria Marconi), Happy The Man, awesome pioneer bands you haven't yet experienced (judging by all you've covered that I saw in your playlist of great bands). CARRY ON! I look forward to seeing your reactions/analyses of the above mentioned band's albums (do them chronologically to understand the development of each band, or not, because their early works pale in comparison to their maturation as the late '60s & '70s ticked by), they all were very influential innovators. Here's a list of one album from each (not their first or early stuff) just to wet your whistle: Soft Machine Third Gentle Giant The Power & The Glory PFM Chocolate Kings Weather Report Black Market Happy The Man Crafty Hands Incidentally, if you haven't heard Igor Stravinsky's Rite of Spring, Firebird & Petrouchka, GO FIR IT !!!
@@Owlstretchingtime78 I looked through his entire content, didn't see them. I saw many other prog bands. Tell me what song or album he's reacted to by GG, Soft Machine, Weather Report, PFM, Happy The Man, and I'll watch it.
@gordonmorris6359 'Octopus', 'Acquiring The Taste', 'Power And The Glory' plus another i don't recall. Type in the band name and individual track titles. It's a mystery that you can't find them!
Oh absolutely finish this album first. The last three tracks are fantastic and Last Exit for the lost is a masterpiece . Congrats for digging deeper into a not so famous band's catalogue. Much respect! And hopefully i will pay off in the end. I wasnt so sure you'd like Chord of Souls, so most likely the rest will be a good match.
I’d double my score for this piece if there was some kind of development. Instead, it’s the same riff over and over and over and over… I’d double my score again if there was a singer with an audible melody. I could imagine it but couldn’t hear it. This is the first ⭐️ track on your channel that has ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ potential (for my taste).
And yet when there's a metal band with a vocalist who sounds like Cookie Monster, everyone thinks it's just the shits. There's only one Nathan Explosion . . .
I really don't understand the craze for this band. Musically it's dull and the singer's voice is a pain. What's more, he always uses the same intonation on every track (which suggests he can't sing).
For someone who has been in the gothic scene for almost 40 years now this song is like a feel good track, I always jump around when I listen to it.
Getting closer.. to the epic last track. This is great too.
The epic TWO last tracks.
Always loved that 'crank' at the start
I love your Review JP of a Classic Bands Songs ! AWELL DONE SIR ! ❤❤❤
Thanks so much Neil!

Still my favourite band. Brilliant live too.
And please more Suede reviews, would love you to do 'Pantomime Horse' or 'The Asphalt World '
On your comment about his religious upbringing, he was brought up as either Jehovah witness or Plymouth Brethren but I can't remember which

You can hear the singer clearly lol.
@@paulcollins5586Yes, but can you hear a melody? There’s hints of one but the vocal tone covers it up,

I always thought of these as terrible and a bit of a joke back in the day. I was clearly right.
That you were.
Their sound is good but imo they just do not have the songs

Great band and a great unusual and different vocalist. LOVE them.
One of the best live bands going. Considering he burnt his throat as a kid it s perfect for goth rock.
