I remember when i was in Elementary School watching the President's first Inauguration in my class room on our screen projector, The whole entire school was watching the Inauguration. As we watched History unfold with President Obama becoming America's First African-American President. I also remember this being sung. After hearing this i fell in love with Aretha's music. I would listen to this version of "My Country 'Tis of Thee" for hours. It's perfect. It's Patriotic, It's Gospel, It's Christian, It's Moody, It's Accomplishing, Everything about it is just absolutely amazing. Oh what a beautiful woman; voice, we lost! RIP Queen Aretha!

So much history in her voice here... she has seen and experienced so much, been such a cornerstone in the fabric of American history in the 20th century, it’s almost religious, maybe spiritual, to consume...
