Thanks for the interesting tour of Cooktown. I note you are interested in history. Did you manage to see the old hospital building? It is now located on May Street. I believe the council was going to demolish the building but it was sold and moved, piece by piece, to its present location. It is now the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and I understand tours were available prior to COVID.
