My favorite arcade sticks that are easy to modify are the Mad Catz Tournament Edition 2 arcade sticks, the Razer Atrox for both Xbox 360 and Xbox One, the Razer Panthera for both PS3 and PS4 and the Hori Vewlix series.

There's no way it'll fit in a HRAP4. The clearance that a western style stick (Happ/IL) requires is absolutely enormous. That's part of the reason that MK9 joystick released back in teh day was so huge. The buttons aren't as big, but still bigger than ANY mass market shell made for Japanese parts can handle. I got around the issue by using a Brook fightboard for the PS4, then drilling the needed holes in a large cigar box. Seriously, there's SO few pre-built options for Happ/IL, so if you wanna try them, get a good drill and some circular saw bits.

I'll be sure to message him to ask if he can make a similar build, but just an empty case so I can use all the parts that came with my RAP V4, along with the panel that has the PS and turbo button panel from the top of the fightstick (i don't know how to solder and I'm afraid I might mess something up if I do).
JROKGaming I don't see where that would factor in. The guy could just be more conservative and less comfortable with a lesbian scene on his stick, especially going to public places with it.

How did you get the motherboard standoffs on there? Did you pre-drill a small hole and then twist them into the hole/wood with your hand?
Alex M I drilled the small holes, made sure everything fit and lined up and added a little gorilla glue.

How delicate are these? You said you had already scratched the side there. Do they have to be used with a lot of care?
It's actually very sturdy. I only had that one issue with the case.

It is all custom work. On average though they are a lot less expensive than other custom wooden enclosures of this available in North America.

These are translucent seimitsu. Just pop off the top and insert art.

these were done by the case maker for me, but I cut my own with an xacto knife and plenty of patience.
