Ugh, I hope the guys can back to making melodic music someday soon. They are better than they’ve ever been in a lot of ways… but not really in the songwriting :(
Watching Lars locking in in Shortest Straw after seeing him struggle in "guitar hero metallica" is so fucking cool. Haven´t saw him this focused since whenever lol
These guys have been my constant since 1986 . they've always welcomed all , including outsiders . and been open books to all . I think thats really something special , and then we all have their great music too . I love these guys
I'm suprised they played Low Man's Lyric in decades later it be better at the end instead of Puppets they should end with Fixxxer but James wouldn't play much because his voice couldn't keep up like he did the last time on their 40th Anniversary but that still would be awesome
Ok hot take - I don’t love Robert playing Orion. It doesn’t smooth, it feels harsh and lacking in dynamic a bit. He does a really great job but I don’t wish that song on any Metallica bass player.

LOW MANS LYRIC. Hell yeah.
Fukin for real that's like 1 of my favorites and the way they played it and this concert it went so well together

Very Underrated cut of theirs
Hellllll yeah to actually having the B-Bender in Unforgiven 2. One of the most beautiful songs of all time.
Reload has some good shit
The Unforgiven ll, Carpe Diem Baby and Fixxer are some of the best

Something tells me, based off that reaction, they’re gonna play Unforgiven II in some of their sets in the 2025 tour
MAY 28 LANDOVER MD PLEASE
If they slow it down a bit, yeah!
And not play MoP ever again..Pls!
That would be epic
God I hope so

Bro 40 years strong and still love them!
Thank you so much! This is so freaking cool!
Fuel 🔥
What an interesting set!
To include Shortest Straw, Until It Sleeps, and Unforgiven II. Love it.
James sporting some Roy Clark-esque chops.. Nice!
I'm suprised they played Low Man's Lyric in decades later it be better at the end instead of Puppets they should end with Fixxxer but James wouldn't play much because his voice couldn't keep up like he did the last time on their 40th Anniversary but that still would be awesome
Something tells me the load/reload box sets are coming
punctuation is very helpful
Straw sounds so heavy
56:28 Audience harmony LOL
Accidental awesome
Wow, low man's lyric to open!
Oh I'm waiting to listen some kind of Stoner metal flavor from thos guys 🖤💛
49:01 - Jastice fur owl.
Is this the full show
Fuel (Arthur Morgan mix)
Hay man where is until it sleeps is missing
Is that a b-bender the third guitarist uses during unforgiven??
You know it!
Yes sir. Then James switches to that neat Danelectro Baritone for Fuel. I don't particularly like the song Fuel but this version sounded really cool.
I’d say the pressure to back up James hetfield on vocals and guitar can be intimidating. He did an amazing job who ever he is
Avi Vincour of Goodnight Texas. Also works for the band
Avi is the real deal. His band is pretty great, too.
Camera man sucks not filming rob on his solos
a lot of tone-deaf sing alongs...ouch

Metallica likes doing covers so much that they've started covering their own songs lmao.
