Some of the guards at Impel Down are awakened Zoan users who lost their mind. I’m not sure if they all appeared in the anime, but the one that appeared the most was the Minotaur that chased Luffy and the others around.
I love that almost every arc, Devil Fruit Straw Hats put themselves in danger by trying to save other Devil Fruit Straw Hats. It's the thought that counts, and narratively it's a smart way to separate the crew.
I think the Kuina/Tashigi thing is just that they are relatives, likely cousins. Since Kuina's family comes from Wano a long time ago, they obviously had a bunch of kids in the East Blue to make Shimotsuki Village. I think it was mentioned in an SBS

The art style is good but some of the fights can be really hard to follow. like the first episode of gear 5 when luffy pulls the ground up to deflect kaido's blast.

The idea of him catching a sword in his right hand could symbolize Zoro, his right-hand man and a master swordsman. Meanwhile, the spearheaded weapon in his left hand might represent Sanji, whose kicks resemble a spear, especially during his battle against Queen in the Wano arc.
It still amazes me that Luffy is an Emperor now and the World Government can't fight or arrest him on sight. Even CP's who operate with a lot of discretion can't just fight him without risking war or rebuke from their superiors. He really came a long way from sailing on a wooden dinghy in ch.1.

I love how the anime fixes some of the Manga issues by giving more hint's of Ussop's Haki development in ep 1090. He's surprisingly the first to notice dangers by a little bit. Even if they're not super canon feats, the subtlety of reminding us he has some potential is sooo nice.
Remember that Zoan type fruit eaters are chosen by their fruits, so it could just be that not many people who get their Zoan fruits were chosen by the fruit itself, causing them to lose themselves when they awaken the fruit. That’s my theory, anyways.

I think with Gear 5 it's not a possession but how with Luci he becomes more carnivorous and bloodthirsty because of his Zoan instead Luffy becomes more overwhelmed with joy and he just has that freedom to do whatever he wants

It imparts them a similar boost in strength but drains their stamina instead of boosting it and while it affects their personality more it doesn't rob them of their own will, as Luffy himself confirmed during his first awakening when Kaido directly asked if he was a different person and Luffy responded that he was in fact "Monkey D. Luffy".
We also see it affecting Lucci's personality in a similar fashion, his coldness practically disappears as he gets wrapped up in the thrill of violence and has a much more manic bloodthirst. Neither him nor Luffy are truly possessed so much as the will of the fruit is mixed with their own.
I just wanted to say that if I'm not wrong, Oda officially said that he was going to take the opportunity in egghead with those outfits to learn to draw female booties better 😂 So yes, I think it was completely on purpose, classic Oda.

Garp says "I don't consider you a diciple anymore" when he faces Kuzan. In that same episode/chapter, they show Garp teaching to marines to prioritize younger lives.
After that, Kuzan doesn't stop the young marines, he concentrates on Garp, making their escape way easier.
TO ME, that was Garp saying to him "You Know what to do, you are Not a student anymore" and Kuzan making the hard choice to sacrifice his mentor to give a chance to himself (to keep infiltrating Black Beard crew) and to the young marines (to escape).
I mean, think about it: Kuzan can freeze the ocean. He could have stopped them ON THE SPOT if he wanted too.
- Notice that on Luffy’s Egghead outfit it has the number “163” is maybe a reference to the manga Ch. 1063 when they got their outfits (my favorite being Usopp) & speaking of these got the runway treatment in a fashion show recently

- It’s Awaken Zoan vs Awaken Zoan (which the transformation scenes look amazing 🤩) with the reveal that like Luffy in his Awaken form Gear 5th Lucci has a hagoromo (meaning “feather rode”) which is a floating scarf that you can see various gods, deities, youkai, & other supernatural beings wearing while as for what Shaka says about Zoan taking over the user this is a reference to the Jailer Beasts (Minotaurus, Minorhinoceros, Minokoala, Minozebra, & Minochihuahua) of Impel Down

I love how the anime fixes some of the Manga issues by giving more hint's of Ussop's Haki development in ep 1090. He's surprisingly the first to notice dangers by a little bit. Even if they're not super canon feats, the subtlety of reminding us he has some potential is sooo nice.

Cow, Zebra and Koala. They are basically big and strong super animals but slightly smarter than normal animals.

The way I see it, Lucci and Luffy's awakening for a zoan are TRUE awakenings. I think the gaol beasts in Impel Down, who were the first ones called awakened zoans, I think were merely nascent awakened. And I think Chopper's Monster Point is also a nascent awakened.

I think with Gear 5 it's not a possession but how with Luci he becomes more carnivorous and bloodthirsty because of his Zoan instead Luffy becomes more overwhelmed with joy and he just has that freedom to do whatever he wants
