Great video, and I'm glad to see Skylum updating their extension's. I hope they continue with updates to supersharp ai and their layers tool as I've experienced issues with those. Has anyone else had the layers tool turn their images pink on export?

Layers? No I've never had anything like that.
I am glad that Skylum has finally decided to stick with one product and improve it rather than release a completely new Luminar product every year.
Skylum says Face Enhance is "experimental" and it should not be used.
Where do they say that?

Thank you very much for your helpful video! I would like to use Luminar Neo regularly. Unfortunately, the function to create metadata (EXIF, IPTC, ...) and save them in my photos is missing. Do you think an update to Luminar Neo will eventually deliver this feature, what do you think? Which app do you use to store metadata in your photos?
I use Lightroom as my main editor so I do that with LR. But I'm looking into Excire photo to see if that will do the trick for folks like yourself.

How to upscale image with resolution 320x240?
Well you can use the Upscale AI extension but you will have limited success because of the extremely small original size. How big do you want to make it? More than 4x larger you'll have major issues.
@@DigitalPhotoMentor No only 4x, my question was only about images that are below 257x257. Not all images are suitable for this resolution, and what to do with those that are below?For example old game Resident evil(1996) there backgrounds have 320x240 but items in this game more lower.I think Esrgan is more suitable for gaming.
@@kallig9640 Ah I see. Why are you trying to resize gaming images that do not belong to you? The reason they have set it at 257 pixels is that anything smaller than that will not produce a decent result. You can try it with Photoshop but you'll have the same issue. But further to that is copyright. Those are not your images. What is Esrgan?
@@DigitalPhotoMentorWhy i mentioned this particular game as it is a real challenge for anyone who knows upscaling and graphic editing. In addition, there is a low resolution, but also a jackal quality (there are color streaks, JPEG "blocky" and heaps of everything that the neural network perceives badly - these are, by the way, the consequences of moving from PS1 versions, where backgrounds were unfolded in a hardware way using MDEC).
The backgrounds from RE1 are completely killed, where the final images are obtained from the source downscale, with a huge loss of quality + this downscale was made in some broken way, which is why the "ladder" (banding) is visible at the edges of the objects, so it's hard to somehow process them normally. In RE2(1998), the situation is much better, because the backs from the PC version, although lower resolution, are still of better quality.
@@kallig9640 You are missing my point entirely. WHY are you downloading and using images from a game?! Unless you are the game creator you have no right to those images and in fact that's why they are so small. So people like you don't try to steal them.
Can do upscale in 20 python lines choosing from plethora of models, just guess when it been included fo free :)
Sorry what does that mean? Upscale 20 python lines? No upscale is an extension
He means if you can write python code you can have your computer do the Upscale without having to buy extension. This is fantastic for coders. Not so fantastic for most photographers. But not sure about the guess when it been included for free part.

It crashes of me with this down load . Instead of upscale need to fix the bugs with Apple !!!
