Hey PupRs, I was wondering if you could create an extremely basic, slow-paced (but comprehensive) guide to magic/ranged/melee dps and perhaps their rotations. Even though I've watched your videos for months and I know that you cover topics in your vids like that, there's a lot of terminology (like 4taa) that aren't as straightforward and understandable for us non-pvmers. To add to that, forcing people to consult spreadsheets to simply understand what ability is better is a honestly a herculean task for people who just want to understand PVM better. Maybe a video using layman's terms and some extremely basic examples will help confused people like me and make getting into pvp less daunting. Appreciate it mate
Rhyeo Rs has a great FSOA/magic explanation that goes into slow, detailed explanations. The current meta/rotations are changing soon, as currently a rebalancing/change is being made to how the fsoa functions. I’d recommend picking up magic after those changes are finalized and implemented if you plan to use the fsoa. If you plan to use dual-wield for magic, there aren’t many guides unfortunately. I would suggest asking other plays in game for more information about duel wield magic
Appreciate the content mr. pup, but I think it's more accurate to say this is a Rebalance to DPM, but a definite heavy Nerf to DPS (speeds; short burst). And yeah, burst power is important to consider when labelling this change, given how 1, it's part of a weapon's DPS potential and 2, powercreep
our team was able to do 17.5k on the beta and 4k solos, so 100-2k farming should pretty much remain the same if you can do it in the main game currently, same goes for 0-4k solo pushing.
@@its_me_leg3ndz_fade389there is nothing to patch. If you fire an auto as blood barrage you get the effect of that spell. You can still heal from blood barrage using abilities but its a 5% chance and its increased with dark form prayer. Whats changing is the fsoa procs will be ability damage as opposed to be auto attacks. One benefit of this is that you wont consume huge amounts of runes like you would if you were firing off auto attacks. Personally i wouldnt mind if they allowed the recursive nature of the crits but made the damage drop by a percentage every-time it recursively crits.
i think casuals who were upset about the changes defo overreacted and higher level pvmers who were saying its not even a nerf are doing the exact opposite somehow the 2 groups had the exact opposite reaction of what it should be casuals should have more dps than before and high lvl pvmers will definitely feel it as the nerf it is because of the lack of burst
Camping dual wields and only using the fsoa as a spec will be the new meta, removing the need to juggle dw for Gconc. The auto attacks being changed to ability damage means that camping dual wield will no longer reduce the damage from the fsoa’s spec. That should be a huge dps boost to those who are average pvmers who don’t use a great rotation
it's not a rebalance if the average damage is the same (actually slightly lower but benefit of the doubt that a new rotation might average it out better) but you don't benefit from the extra effects of autos...that's a nerf...
less burst damage, more consistent,no spell effects anymore,4taa can give u a decent +dps ,almost never a pool skip at raksha and its easier to dw camp on spec
@@snakeyrs6849 in what way is fsoa not currently "noob" friendly, the changes add to the skill gap with 4taa being brought back and with the 7kish heals from blood barrage abs spam the weapon is less noob friendly
@@Quasarcool yes, but it's also more noob friendly in the way that you can just camp dual wield on revo and get *much* better returns than before these changes

there are literally guides on youtube which are 5 minutes or less for how to 4taa. it's a very simple concept.
This is the lords work, ty pup
Hey man, can u please do a vid, about how can u make a lot of damage in one tick ?

You should try it with zammy high enrages and new AD, anyway good vid, thanks uwu

can you please explain to me how the blood barrage spell works with fsoa? till nerf
Because the fsoa fired out auto attacks it means you’d get a blood barrage auto each crit. So the healing was pretty huge.
@@PupRs aaahhh, ty.
and, its going to be patched right? or is it patched already?

Might not be a buff to casual players since no abs spam makes it a lot more effort by itself
no effort needed if revo
